There are tons of nations that are considered slavic and, still, most of them are not that religious. I can tell you from my experience man, it’s a 100% misconception. If there are Russian clubs or bars near you, definitely go there. You will thank me later.

Oh man. As a person from post-Soviet, I can tell you: Russians are easyyyyy. Don't believe me. Go find it out for yourself. Simply start a conversation and she will do the rest of the work. Just know that they love when the guy pays the bill and shit. It's even a requirement so you've got to do it.

I have this mental framework. Whenever I am shy to do something I do it like very extra, in this case approach every girl in any situation even if it seems like I am going to get embarrassed. Obviously, I fail but I also realize that there was nothing to be afraid of. By this i push my pain tolerance threshold. After that I can already be observant and selective of whom to approach.

It’s not a very bad thing. The success you get when drunk usually adds up to your confidence even when you are sober. Tho at certain point you’ve got to overcome yourself and have fun without drinking. My advice would be if it is really important drink a bit, but if it’s not and you’re scared go and even fail miserably. At least you will gain sober experience.

Go to clubs and bars 3-4 days a week, get a little drunk, approach every girl around (ugly/beautiful doesn't matter). I am telling you one of the worst ways.
