What helped me was definitely developing game and frame. My parents have a similar relationship. They’re immigrants but they’ve lived in the US for almost 30 years. My dad works all day and expects dinner in a clean kept home every night. My mom happily does this since she doesn’t work. They still flirt and and seem to love each other.
