Yup, a quarter of a million women had an outlet for our thoughts and feelings, and they killed it. Guess what, lots of us don't like podcasts. It's much easier to find time for a post here and there on reddit, but not for a podcast or navigating to a separate website where you're constantly bombarded with requests to sign up and pay.

You are exactly right! Especially about there being no path to joining the community. Just a couple of days ago, my husband and I were talking about an unfortunate woman we know, who was in a terrible relationship. He suggested I link her FDS, and I had to tell him there basically was no way to do that anymore. The website requires subscription, and nobody who doesn't already know FDS would subscribe. It's so sad, because the community will dwindle. I've seen it before with two other subs that l…

Yup, this is how I lost my best friend a couple of years ago. Boyfriend, later husband, is an alcoholic, chain-smoking, loud-mouthed deadbeat who can't keep a job, and was previously jailed for years for domestic abuse. But of course she defended that, because his ex was "crazy."

Yeah, Dan Schneider, he also did iCarly, Drake and Josh, and other shows. Huge foot fetish, iirc. What i want to know is, how did it go on so long?

You're exactly right - Aspergers can be protective. My son is on the spectrum, and he's the sweetest 19-year-old you'll ever meet. Bring so awkward has made him humble, and because he doesn't have a ton of friends his own age, he's very close with family and has avoided lots of the crappy elements of popular culture. Plus, being so close with me, he is very familiar with FDS concepts, so he tries really hard to be respectful with women. Maybe he's an exception, I don't know.

Please consider keeping pepper spray on you when you're around him, and sleep with your bedroom door locked. My mom had a friend who was in a similar situation, and the guy killed her and himself.

Might want to file a contempt action or attempt to intercept his tax returns. In the LVM mind, your new car justifies him never paying another cent.

Girl, same. This sub really helped me see how I need to be treated by men AND women. Not only the obvious user friend I dropped, but also the ones who never reach out to me to hang out. I started to realize I'm always the one making the effort with a couple of my friends, meeting them where and when it's convenient for them. I have learned to recognize respectful behavior from women, and I'm really hopeful that it will help my friendships in the long run as much as it's helped me romantically.

I also have a friend in a relationship with a LVM. I've started by sending her memes from the group, if they apply to a particular situation she's talked about. She's been very receptive to those, so I mentioned where I got them, and now I'm just hoping she takes the time to have a look.

That's how I discovered it! I came expecting what a post in another subreddit described: "female incels." What I found was a sisterhood that helped me connect all the dots. Thanks, ladies!

They started their relationship with an emotional affair while he was still married. So they're both trash, quite frankly. After reading that, she deserves him.

He wasn't embarrassed by you, he was worried it would get out that he had a girlfriend, and then he'd lose the chance to keep fucking other women.

You may not believe me, but you will be better off because of this. If you'd told me that two years ago, I would have laughed in your face. And then cried. I was a total mess, but I'm happier than ever now. My husband left me after 18 years, forcing us to decimate the rental real estate holdings we'd been building up, and I was convinced I'd never recover financially. What I didn't realize is what a drag a financially irresponsible partner is on you. Yes, I was set back as far as net worth, but …
