As a man, I would say most men would not have an issue with your experiences with women.

Yeah. Your lawyer should have specified this already and should definitely do so in the final settlement.

How many in long term marriages die with both partners still in love? After a while most drift in a holding pattern of emotional indifference and stay together because getting divorced is too disruptive.

Once you can't walk away and have to tolerate her shit, she loses respect and starts the exit process: bitching, no sex, etc.

Make sure she doesn't fuck her boyfriend in your house while you're golfing. A woman in affair fog is capable of anything. She might neglect the kids too. Make no assumptions.
/r/Divorce_Men19/07/22 01:50 AM

Might regret ever getting married and having kids. It's actually pretty common. The way she's generally unhappy, ignores household tasks and is a bitch to everyone are typical.

Men see marriage as a forever commitment but women see it as something to end once it stops giving them tingles. I had a few failed relationships with women like this and I'm very glad I didn't marry them.

Teach your kids to identify dangerous situations and refuse to cooperate. If she threatens or hits them get cops on her.

Is your son in counseling or taking meds? He probably has untreated emotional or mental health issues. Poor academic performance is a symptom. Your ex is probably oblivious. I'd be concerned about drug use and risky behavior. Don't wait for him to end up in the ER.

Women look at the past through shit colored glasses, seeing only reasons why they left. I never met a divorced woman who had anything positive to say about her marriage.
/r/Divorce_Men02/11/21 02:00 AM

90% chance your marriage is over. I'd give counseling a shot but don't have high hopes. As others said, this is probably her attempt to not be the bad guy and blame you for everything. Get a lawyer and prepare to file or get served.
/r/Divorce_Men27/10/21 07:43 PM

I meant this as an example of shallowness not as good advice. A woman falls in love with the man who provides the lifestyle she wants.

A woman once told me you choose who you fall in love with.

Not abuse. He is consenting after she made a full disclosure. Bad choice on his part that is keeping him from moving on.

For me that's a big red flag. My wife put herself through school and was independent since she was 20. It was one of the reasons I married her. Supported adults tend to have little fortitude and are highly entitled. If he does marry her, make sure he has a professionally written prenuptial agreement.
/r/Divorce_Men19/09/21 05:30 PM

My dad was around but didn't give two shits for parenting or doing anything fatherly. I was jealous of a boy at my school whose father was the basketball coach. His dad spent more time with him in a week than my dad did in a year. I have two kids now and spend as much dad time as I can with them. Being an active father has helped a lot.

Two years of my early twenties didn't happen in much the same manner you described due to PTSD. What helped me was one little victory at a time such as personal care, not being late and other improvements. Therapy helped too.

I once dated a woman whose sister was getting divorced. She bragged about all the dirty tricks her sister was doing and how bad her husband was going to get screwed over. I ghosted her after that conversation.

Make sure your kids know that guy might be a potential sexual predator and to keep their distance. A "friend" can become something else pretty quickly. Predators target divorced women with kids all the time.

Lucky you're in AZ. In CA the ex would have cleaned you out.

I'd put the kids in counseling to undo their mother's damage. She is being rewarded for horrible behavior instead of being punished.
/r/Divorce_Men26/05/21 12:17 AM

The mother should be facing criminal charges for lying to the court not getting custody. That judge is fucked up.
/r/Divorce_Men25/05/21 02:00 PM

I've known several women who were molested by stepfathers and mom's boyfriend. The mothers turn a blind eye since the man is the breadwinner.

I had one when I was 39 and had two kids. If you're sure you don't want more then go for it. Doctors will give you shit about it as you're still young. It's not too painful and shooting blanks will simplify dating quite a bit.

I've known a few people who had a worse divorce the second time around.
/r/Divorce_Men14/05/21 02:19 AM

She's already made up her mind and is justifying her decision with BS. You'll hear nothing but gaslighting and waltzing goalposts about your behavior. Counseling at this point is a waste of time. Sorry to say that bud.

The doctor said it probably died a day or two before. I think you usually start bleeding a week or so after it dies when the body starts trying to clear it out.

The worst part about the miscarriage is that we found out at the first ultrasound. We were excited to see the baby for the first time but instead got bad news. We dreaded the first ultrasound the next time.
/r/RedPillWomen01/02/20 12:23 AM

We already had one kid and got pregnant a few months later with a successful pregnancy. The miscarriage wasn't devastating but it was a bad experience. 1/3 pregnancies are miscarried so we perfectly got the ratio of two successful and one failed pregnancies.

I think it is doomed. You'll never truly forgive him for this. He probably never wanted kids and just told you what you wanted to hear. A man who really wanted kids wouldn't have been so eager and nonchalant about having an abortion. My wife had a miscarriage and d&c at ten weeks which was terrible for both of us. We're both wanted kids and we still get tearful when it comes up.

My wife is much smarter than me and could earn more than me if she went to grad school. She didn't so we could have kids and her be a SAHM. We totally respect each other and earning/intelligence isn't an issue.

I used to provide cock on the carousel and was similar to this girl. Never had an LTR or got beyond sport fucking. I eventually had an LTR, got married and had kids but it was a real challenge since I had no relationship experience. Been married 10 years. First few were rocky. Don't knock this girl too hard. Lots of single guys are in the same position: wanting an LTR or marriage but having no relationship experience, only the carousel. Don't have a double standard. Providing cock is no differen…

I slept with my wife on the 2nd date and never thought less of her for it. Sexual compatibility is important in a relationship as are many of things. The sequence in which you determine the compatibility points is irrelevant.

I was 30 when I met my wife who was 21 at the time. All the guys her age had no interest in settling down or even could if they wanted to due to student loans. I was established with no debt and a good career. The age gap has gotten less pronounced as time has gone on. We've been together 13 years now and married 11 with 8 and 6 year old girls.

+1 You'll see his true character now that he is successful and has much higher RMV. Gold diggers will come running and plenty of SF women will be trying to have an affair with him. Hopefully he'll stay with you as you seem like a good potential wife for the long term.

Problem with being vulnerable is that it makes you a target for sociopaths and borderlines. I had the horrible experience of having the most painful event of my life revealed in detail to my entire social circle when I broke up with a girl I was vulnerable with. However, I did the same with the girl I eventually married and it gave us a strong relationship right from the start. It does have great benefits but also great risks.
