Lol, at what point in history religion prevented that? The world was like that, and mostly still is like that.

It's the difference between opening fridge and not finding something you would like to eat, and opening empty fridge.

This isn't brown eggs vs white eggs, they are fully formed people with different cultural background.

People coming over don't suddenly forget about everything. And integration requires deliberate effort, if left to their own devices immigrants tend to form insular groups. With Muslims the issue is that back home more radical ideas where not tolerated, while Europe is fertile breeding ground for radical Islam branches.

You can't argue with what is and what is not, any society that thinks that having kids is unnecessary, won't be around for long. While we might be more than our biology, it still applies to us.

People need social connection in some form. Look man unless you can prove that the human body stops functioning without romance in the same way it does without food, water, or shelter, you do not have an argument here. Then people don't really need social connections, since you don't die from not talking to people.

From an evolutionary perspective, fairness is basically a necessary element for a specie to meaningfully cooperate. That's not true, just look at the ants, high level of cooperation, no concept of fairness.

Who do you think did the programming? It's the nature of life itself, anything that fails to reproduce goes extinct and is no more.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 10:29 AM

Before civilizations there would be larger emphasis on natural selection and small group dynamics, no tinder, no cars, no large cities, lot more effort goes to not starving. Ability to do hard manual labor is critical to survival. If fewer attractive men are reproducing and only the most desired traits are passing on , wouldnt that mean this is a correction phase ? And if thats true wouldnt we expect that after a few generations there would be fewer objectively undesirable men ( atleast in thing…

On one hand complaining about young people has always been popular, on the other dismissing societal cohesion morale and determination as unimportant is folly. If Ukrainians weren't as motivated as they where, they could have simply crumpled during initial attack on Kyiv and it would have been over in weeks. Like when Zelenksy was offered evacuation, had he taken the offer, things might have turned out wildly differently.

Egypt almost made it, survived bronze age collapse, and if it wasn't for those pesky Macedonians(or Romans or Brits). I would argue that they kinda made it regardless of being conquered few times. Egyptians are still there as distinct people, even if there are some Greek cultural influences.

Blackpill isn't framework per say, it's where you end up when everything fails, or you fail at everything, depends on how you look at it. Also what makes redpill so misguided in your view?

What you don't understand is that confidence has to be based on something, best source is prior success, but since that isn't an option, something tangible, like getting fit, goes long way. Same way to feel good about self you need to do well, it's difficult to feel good about yourself if you face nothing but rejection.

It was an actual wake up call seeing this for me, I'm a woman, and sometimes I get posts from women who also seem to hate men on my timeline ; you know, these "dating coaches" that supposedly teach other people how to attract a man, be in your feminine energy, be hyper feminine, manipulate men, on tiktok, insta etc. And seeing the reversed effect (men saying the EXACT SAME STUFF about women) really alarmed me. My point is there’s a clear pattern with male violence and the need to harm others collaterally when mad n sad n miserable instead of just taking themselves out. Bit of a departure from what you initially said. Suicide is the likely outcome, sure there are some outliers.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Botulinum_toxin Muscles weakened by toxin injection recover from paralysis after several months, so injection might seem to need to be repeated, but muscles adapt to the lengths at which they are chronically held,[49] so that if a paralyzed muscle is stretched by its antagonist, it grows longer, while the antagonist shortens, yielding a permanent effect. Muscles aren't permanently paralyzed, but they adapt to disuse.

There are counteracting forces, 2 different models (op's and mine), and loosely connected questions. In attempt to clarify situation, I'll briefly cover north Africa, Middle East, and Europe. When i've polled my peer group, they say something between 10% and 20%. If 10-20% of people reproduce, population decline would be rapid. So rapid population decline for op's premise. The rest are my personal estimations considering irl trends.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/25 09:20 PM
1

What op describes is not slow, and the decline related to resource limitations will likely be fairly violent, at least it historically was.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/25 09:01 PM
3

Considering everything, global population likely will decline. But only partially due to "western culture". In "West" is will decline due to cultural reasons. Some areas of the world will become uninhabitable due to climate change. And with increasingly energetic weather patterns there likely will be severe global food shortages.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/25 08:51 PM
2

Objective analysis would be complicated and a lot of work. It would require not just looking at trends, but also objective factors, like resource constraints(relevant for 3rd world countries), regional conflicts and such. And there is soft cap how many people any given place can sustain given available technological level. And given opportunity could rapidly expand.

If someone works in government and doesn't have decent savings, cutting nonessential expenses is prudent. Castor oil has been used orally to relieve constipation or to evacuate the bowel before intestinal surgery.[12] The laxative effect of castor oil is attributed to ricinoleic acid, which is produced by hydrolysis in the small intestine.[12] Use of castor oil for simple constipation is medically discouraged because it may cause violent diarrhea.[12] From wikipedia, might be safer than mystery serums, but have to be careful with dosage.

Should young adults be legally compelled to work in IRL full time public service jobs for 4 years if they don’t enroll in and stay in college right after high school? Service guarantees citizenship, would you like to know more? But it should be choice between military service and civil service, otherwise well enough people go to college(and get richer afterwards) and poors have to slave away at civil service. If short where better represented in positions of power, women wouldn't correlate height with social status that much. They see all the tall influential people on tv and want tall bf. Realistically height quotas would be dumb idea (along with rest of the diversity quotas).

Anything else makes life better, no argument there but they are things you have earn, buy, or have some luck with but they are not needs. But that is still true for physical needs. Like nobody is going to hand me a house, got to work for it and food doesn't appear out of thin air either.

On grand scheme of things, yes, otherwise we go extinct. On individual scale, physically no, we don' t drop dead due to lack of sex(occasionally some people do off themselves due to that), psychologically (as in mental health) it is a need for most humans.

I disagree, look at Palestinians, most of them are extremely poor, but they are fucking like there is no tomorrow and producing metric ton of kids. If it was deemed important, any western country could afford to make enough kids to sustain themselves. Not going extinct as a nation isn't seen as something important. Otherwise you wouldn't see importing wast amounts of people as a solution. There is more to it, but I don't see how it all fits together.

Comparison is thief of joy, and with social media there is nearly unlimited amount of people to compare yourself against. Probably they where happier, definitely more viable.

Looking at demographics, you could think "the west" is undergoing a major disaster. Things can feel great, but have bad side effects, not entirely unlike drugs.

Did you agree on salary before starting to work there?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 07:08 PM

This is why the question, "What do you bring to the table?" was so absurd and controversial. It's like applying for a job and before the interview asking for a raise. No, first you PROVE you can do the job, THEN we'll discuss compensation. Have you ever had paid job? You don't ask for a raise, but you do discuss salary and other benefits during job interview.

What men really want out of sex isn’t so much physical pleasure as it is validation and social status. Doesn't sound right.

since the majority of people are reproducing. Depends where you are, a lot of places are well bellow replacement level. And it will cause issues, but they will be boring sort, like no social security, pension funds going bust etc.

Towards the end of the treatment, the dose is gradually reduced over the course of several weeks. You may experience temporary sleep problems, nausea or restlessness when coming off antidepressants. These symptoms are especially likely if you suddenly stop taking antidepressants. Sounds like withdrawal to me.

From the link: Unlike many sleeping pills and sedatives, antidepressants don't cause physical dependence or addiction. Alcohol does cause physical addiction, marijuana doesn't, but there are plenty of people who are addicted to it.

We know for a fact, only 50% of males are able to pass down their genes in our types of species. So, half of the men should statistically be dying alone virgin. I'm not sure that's accurate take. Imagine city gets sacked. All the men get murdered. Pretty women get taken along as loot. if half of men PROBABLY die alone...then should men not be tougher against such pain? No, there is no evolutionary incentive for that, because no descendants. Traits that increase reproductive chance are more likel…

The vast majority of gamers aren't playing the Tekkens/Dark Souls/sekiros/brain training. I was thinking more about Foxhole, Eve, Planetside. Games where organizing many people, planning and preparation are keys to success.

Imagine playing poker for 5$, or 50 000$. It's same game but different stakes. Irl job stakes will be higher. Doesn't mean it's inherently more difficult, what's required to succeed varies a lot per job and per game. Leadership is also about consequence and accountability. Would be nice if it was like that. but the average idiot on the couch? Nah. There are very few games where leading as a skill comes into play, and in those few games only a small portion of players are leading. They are a rare…

If you think leading people around in some WOW raid is the same as leading a team of paid professionals or athletes then I really, really worry for you. In many ways it's more difficult. In video games decision making is more time sensitive. Odds of team members paying attention and doing what they are supposed to do are lot lower. If your leadership isn't engaging the team will entertain themselves, often in disastrous ways. Paid professionals are expected to behave, be there and pay attention.…

I'm getting really into eastern philosophy lately (and I help run a philosophy discord), so I often think about the nature of reality and the importance of going with the flow rather than trying to force things, to do your best to be a good person and fulfill your duties and letting life take its course. I see a lot of this in stoicism as well. Advanced copium, very nice.

There is no mystical shadow cabal that tries to stop you from getting laid, it's significantly worse than that. There are 3 main driving forces for current changes. Internet, need for ever increasing profit, and urbanization. Relationships are increasingly tournament type (winner gets all, and other end is pair bonding), and that's mostly due to internet, since you aren't competing with people that are in line of sight at given moment, you are competing with entire city.
