There should also be funding specifically for mental health for men because they make up the majority of suicides.

The "healthy" bit I can get on board with. But "good looking" and "smart"? Woman, if you want to fuck your best friend, maybe you shouldn't be married to someone who's not your best friend. JFC. EdIT: Also, imagine that conversation. Sitting down with her best friend and talking, without her husband's knowledge, how she wants his sperm inside her. Ugh. I'm never getting married.

In that top right photo, she genuinely looks too old to have a 14 year old kid. Maybe she's lying about her age but also that of her kid. You go back to hers for dinner and you meet her "14 year old" who is clearly mid 20s with a job and a car and stuff who just lives with her because she allows him to stay for free and still does his laundry and cooking.

When you weigh that much you lose the right to have an opinion about their height. My lord. EDIT: Don't zoom in on that middle lower picture. Oof.

So they need to be super into you and cook for you and all that . If a single mom showed high interest , did some chasing and really spoiled a guy - because she understood that she is operating from a lower starting position - then it could work I'd be super concerned that it would all fall off a cliff if she either got a marriage or got hold of your DNA. As soon as that happens, it would be 50:50 on the work and 80:20 / 90:10 on the "how much finance do you contribute".

Yeah, there is no more clear "I'm just looking for someone to help pay for and raise my kids" than someone who is so desperate to meet him that it is so high priority that it's above getting that divorce filed.

Or if you want to really distrust what she's saying, I'd say the guy who owned it stopped fucking her because she was about to pop out yet another unplanned kid and he finally realised he'd have a sweeter deal elsewhere (after having a vasectomy presumably).

"No I can't report it--" she leaned forward, spoke slowly and lowered her voice conspiratorially "--the police were in on it too!" I literally did a little kinda double take when I read this. My god! Some time later, she got sued for defrauding a charity. I had already enjoyed this comment a lot, but this was the little glacé cherry on top. Thanks, would read again, lol. At least you got a fun Date Horror Story out of her bizarre red flag nonsense haha.

I'm presuming she didn't own one - it was the one that the father of her kids owns and she used to pose with it for Instagram pics.

I love that it's so common for these people to have different fathers to each of their kids that this person actually specifies they're all fathered by the same dude, to try and make it sound less bad.

Could she make it any more obvious that she's in it for the money and the "trophy"?! My god. "He's only slightly taller than me" and the whole he doesn't take me out for nice expensive meals or holidays enough. Anyway, if she was paying him the same rate you'd pay a trusted child carer to do all the stuff he does with her kid, he'd be able to easily afford to take her for nice meals all the time. So maybe she should be more recognising of his efforts at raising her spawn?!

I love how they always put in the bit about not knowing who filmed or photographed it, as though they can't hide the fact that the only thing that really bothers them is that someone kept evidence of their tramping.

This seems more likely to me. She wants a dude who's in shape with broad shoulders, so she's gotta pretend to be a swimmer or a rower. But rower says he's very outdoors-y and has enough money to be a member of a decent rowing club, so she goes "rower". She's probably not rowed since a taster day at college, but she's canny enough to know a formula for selecting her ideal man.

I always assumed it meant they want you to like volunteer to scrub penguins clean after oil spills and stuff like that, so she can go along every now and then for a photo op for her instagram but then leave you doing it while she enjoys her "generous lifestyle" and goes for bottomless 11AM mimosas with your credit card while you're out hugging rainbows and caressing moonbeams and such.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen20/10/21 12:50 AM

Even at 25 you've got to be a hell of a looker to say you're 5 foot tall, love to eat and laugh, and want someone to offer you a generous lifestyle or whatever it is she asked for. So at 42 shed better look like Liz Hurley or Jennifer Lopez did at that age, or she's gonna be on a hell of an uphill struggle.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen20/10/21 12:46 AM

Ah, so by "sustainable living", she doesn't mean "financially sustainable" then. And she "loves to laugh"! Wow, how unique and special. I bet she takes pictures of the food she also says she has a keen interest in.

Yeah, if she basically leads with "we won't have sex", then surely that's her saying that she used to offer sex as one of her main offerings but now that's off the table and she's backfilled the gap in her profile with... nothing?

I'm not comfortable having sex so soon! Except when I find a POC guy with a massive cock to blow in the corner of some club while people film it on their phones. I needed some healing. Does she think when you suck a dick, medicine comes out?

If she's a "girl gamer", my mind immediately went to her having an OnlyFans lol. I'm sure I'm wrong. But it's funny how much it clearly bothered her having someone worship her and then suddenly ghost. Probably realised he wasn't getting anywhere. Good for him.

How can you expect to find a long term serious thing if you don't even have one picture of you doing an actual human expression? I'm getting so bored of Insta-face, where you do the same disinterested look as every influencer in every shot. Just makes you look like your soul fell out and you couldn't put it back in. Just one photo of her smiling like an actual human might attract a less shitty man. EDIT: Oh, and I sincerely hate those ear hole things. They look ridiculous when the hoop is in, an…

not once did she mention she had a son Jesus. And that's obviously not accidental. She hopes you'll catch feels quickly enough to be okay with her having a son. Bad luck. I'm mid 30s and just heading back into dating, but not sure I can be bothered.

His wife fell in with a new bunch of friends at work and got "feminized", demanding that husband open the relationship so she could "express her sexuality" and that him denying would be emotional abuse. Jesus Christ. Imagine being pathetic enough to have your wife float the idea of fucking someone else and going "Oh, hey, cool! Yeah, go on, go find some piece of trash to put his cock up your arsehole."

hordes of men will line up for an attractive single mom like the one in this photo Will they though? Genuinely? I have a pretty low opinion of myself generally and pretty low self esteem, but I'd sooner be alone forever than take on someone else's kid, unless a friend had died and I was raising the kid on his behalf or something. Fuck just raising the child of someone who pumped, dumped and ran for something better. Who are these men that willingly do that?! I mean, I'm pretty sure they exist, b…

a hard doubt on the “average” body selection. That's the joy of the word "average". Now that there are so many fatties out there, you can use "average" for something that 30-40 years ago would have been better described as "like a mini Moby Dick".

Imagine the reaction on social media as a man when you proudly announce you're searching for a woman of Australian/Irish descent, raised as a Roman Catholic and is at most, a size 10 dress size. (And weight is something you can control, unlike height.)

Eh, I'd still rather not fuck a sleazy whore who's pregnant with the child of the guy she left me for. I'd rather be off fucking someone more deserving while she sits there on dating apps hoping someone's looking for damaged goods.

She's not been found guilty of anything. He's had a judge tell the world he's committed spousal domestic abuse. That's why he lost jobs and she didn't. Also, at the moment you tick the "few extra pounds" box, you lose the right to demand a man of a specific height. If you can't control your weight, you shouldn't be trying to demand specific heights, which is something entirely outside the man's control.

Yeah, she talks about how men are "intimidated that she makes more than them". No, they think you're a bitch for spending all of dinner telling them that you make more money than them and then sitting staring at you waiting for you to pay at the end.

She's probably one of those people that think it "shows her worth", to get her date to buy her additional food she clearly doesn't look like she needs so he gets to "enjoy" watching her eat it. She's probably got a flirtatious way of eating it to try and get him to book in date #2 or something.
/r/PussyPassDenied16/07/21 08:26 AM

I imagine "good terms" means "he still pays for everything so I don't need to get a job for a few weeks til I find someone else to pay for everything". That's why she says she ain't paying to meet someone, because he'll pay for everything she needs as he has done for the last 20 years but he draws the line at paying for a membership to a decent dating site. Ain't paying to meet someone? It doesn't mean she won't. It means she can't.

I was just gonna say, there's the old "swinging from a branch to a new branch, and don't let go of one til you have a firm hold on the next" thing, but this is something else. She's effectively divorced but is gonna live in that house until she has a new sucker to move in with.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen16/07/21 08:02 AM

And she hilariously still stuck to the "we need a man with a nice car, a job, who is attractive and wants kids". She might have sounded a bit prepared to compromise, but there it was, like the standard over-30s Tinder shopping list.

Also, she's "helped them generate" that, meaning that even if they had an idea worth millions, her telling them how to send a marketing email and them then making lots of money doesn't actually mean it was her wonderful marketing that carried them to success. I could put some posters up around my local area for Coca Cola, and then if their revenues go up by $X that year I could claim I'd helped Coca Cola generate revenues of $X. Racquel specializes in email marketing, Racquel has helped her clients to generate 5-figures with her proven strategies. Which is cool, congrats to her. So where does that leave her dating prospects? I have a suspicion she isn't going to be dating any mechanics or waiters. I'm not sure how that makes her desirable to me. She's helped their clients to make money but it doesn't mean she's doing well. Sounds like she's desperately trying to sell herself after 10 years of doing that dating app thing…

As a 30-something woman, I am in the best shape of my life. In my 20s I was skinny, I had a flat ass and small boobs. Now that I’m in my 30s my boobs and ass have gotten bigger and much nicer. Gravity has not yet taken its toll on me. The delusion is very, very strong. You can tell yourself you're hotter over 30 than previously and how you defy gravity, and your friends might have reinforced your belief, but it's almost certainly not true. "I feel I have no business having a baby" Well, shoulda invested in some birth control then, love. Like, yes, I feel bad for people who are depressed or unable to cope, but this is why you have to think about big life decisions like having a kid. I know I'm not the most stable person, which is exactly why I've chosen not to have kids. If you're alone and aren't sure, maybe go get therapy before having the kid.

Yeah, I imagine so! I had the same mindset. I guess the issue is that an expensive watch and expensive suit, if it attracts girls, is also going to mean that getting laid without paying for hundreds of dollars worth of fancy drinks and meal / date experience is tricky unless you're pretty good at it. I thought about trying to fake being rich to make it easier to get laid, but decided I wasn't good enough at avoiding goldminers so abandoned the idea.

See, you want to be loved despite your very controllable weight but are unwilling to love a man because of his very uncontrollable height... It's like hair loss. For some reason it's okay for women to laugh about men's hairlines if they receed or go balding, but if a man laughs about a woman's waistline, it's considered "fat shaming" bullying. You can control how fat and in shape you are. You can't control your hairline nearly as easily, if at all. I feel fortunate to still have pretty reasonabl…

Now they've been taught they are "queens". Oh, and even clothing adverts have gone from "plus sized model who has a few extra pounds but still looks quite decent" to "grab the harpoons and some stout men, the settlement is saved" and tout it like it's healthy. Yeah, it's bizarre. When I'm on Tinder, I only want to see pictures of the girl I might be fucking. I'm not trying to date a baby so I don't want to see pictures of it. There's a subreddit where women sell access to their "premium Snapchat". The bit where she's crying in the rain and has to kind of pretend to herself that she's okay because she wants to go fight alongside her new friends is masterful. I'm of the opinion that had Ayer got to make his planned Gotham City Sirens movie with her at its core, it would have been one of the best comic book movies ever.

It starts with a scene where her husband leaves her for a woman in her 20s who isn't all angry and preachy. And it's all downhill from there.

Imagine any other willful fraud going on that long and for that amount of time. There'd probably be a large police investigation. But if it's because she lied about banging someone else? Usually it's "oh well, your bad", as far as I can tell.

I guarantee that if 1 in 10 children were switched at birth at the hospital, thus making women raise a child not her own, there would be legislation quicker than you can say "paternity fraud". This is a very, very good point. A story about a hospital being exposed as accidentally swapping 2 in every 20 kids would be national, and possibly international, news. Whereas for paternity fraud where women just can't keep their legs shut is just some statistic that is assumed to be a fact of life.

A woman claimed it would lead to more murders if men knew from the beginning they are not the father. I love that the solution to "women might be murdered if they cheat on their husband and lie about the parentage of 'his' child" is "stop the man being able to check" and not "tell women to stop putting someone else's cock inside them". Clown world.

Never, because look at it from a state/government perspective. Currently, the situation is such that a non-negligible number of men get defrauded into paying for someone else's kid. If mandatory DNA testing came in, the man is off the hook and the woman gets "sorry you didn't understand, or bother to use, birth control" payments from the state/government. This is the actual answer - the government would far rather you become a victim of fraud than the buck passes to the public. Having been cheat…

I don't get why anyone thinks that anyone on a dating site under the age of 30 is willing to take on someone else's kids. Or 40. Or much older. I'm mid 30s and I fucking wouldn't. If you have no morals and are ugly enough to not be worth charging $54 for your prostitution, this is a pretty good tip. But if you don't look like a whale with the face of a smashed crab, just do good old fashioned ho'ing, and charge at least $55 per go.

The usual nonsense is "you can't punch down but can punch up". So it's fine for a woman to insult a man. Its fine for a trans person to insult a cis person. Its fine for a black guy to insult a white guy. That's the kind of logic anyway. If someone's expected to be higher on the socio-economic ladder than you, you can insult them all you want.

It was remarkable how odd they managed to make Harley look. My logic is that a dating profile should be showing you the person you want to date. Friends in pictures are permissable if you can actually tell who the profile is (literally saw one profile where every pic had the same 2 girls in, amongst others, so you're left to guess which one is the profile you're swiping on). But pics of the kid? I'm not looking to date a child, so if their photo is on a dating profile pic, I'm swiping wherever the equivalent of "no" is.

I saw a tweet recently that had a wannabe Instagram type mom at Disney, posing in front of the Millennium Falcon. She gets one picture with the stroller + kid in it, and then shoves the stroller off to the side and goes for sexy pose. That's the kind of thing I'm thinking. Would this woman, who wants men to normalize dating SW, be comfortable dating a man who she knows to have paid, or currently pays, for sex? Yeah, this is where this shit always falls apart. I am absolutely certain that most of these sex workers and sex worker supporters see men who use such services as lesser or perverted. Any woman who advertises that she has a OF on an online dating thing is basically saying "I have an added incentive not to date you because you're a potential customer". This almost gets disqualified from being a PPD in my book from the fact that he was clearly guilted / shamed / whatever into eventually bending over and paying for part of it.

Also, I can make a girl laugh if we're both relaxed in each others company and are face to face. I can't just say stuff in the first few messages on Tinder that makes her laugh out loud - I'm not Jimmy Carr or someone that just plucks one liners off the internet and pastes them into messages. Where the fuck did this idea come from of "if a man can't make you laugh in the first screen of Tinder messages, he must be a boring fucker"?

Im pretty sure it was Chris Rock who joked about the idea of "pussy payments". He was saying about how women get paid after a divorce to keep them "in the lifestyle to which they are accustomed", so he posits the idea that if the guy is accustomed to getting head and a fuck a few times a week, he should be getting granted that in the divorce. Genuinely interesting logic, and shows how flawed it is to have to pay someone just because they're used to getting your money.

3000 likes in 2 days? Christ. The reason all these guys are spamming out messages left, right and center is that they don't have the luxury of 3000 people pursuing them. Even if only 5% of those are actually decent guys wanting a relationship, that's still 150 people to consider. I bet she'd be more upset if she'd paid for Tinder Gold and got almost nothing.

I didn't say he should do it to stir drama. I said he should do it because I believe that a guy owes it to his fellow man to not let that guy live his life being lied to by some harlot. I was cheated on and if some guy had told me, I'd have denied it for a while but I'd have seen the signs and could have fired first rather than get left feeling like shit. I don't see how you could see "warning another guy" as "trying to stir drama". That never even came into my mind.

I only date guys earning equal or more than me. Girl, you wanted equality. What if a guy only wants to date girls who earn the same as or more than him? That means you and he can only date if you earn exactly the same.

I love that number 57 is "owning a fast, sexy car". It makes me chuckle the idea that she might meet someone that ticks off 72 of these points but because he has a shitty car because he doesn't really care and doesn't need to show off to materialistic idiots, she will have to politely decline his advances. This queen won't be seen in anything shittier than a Lexus, and will only actively engage for a Maserati or above.

Its amusing how the way she probably intended that was "you're a better catch as a decent man, and one day those kind of girls will realise that and you'll both be happy" but what she's inadvertently said is "don't worry, one day she'll be tired of endless cock and then she'll settle for you".

Another reason why men hate RomComs Fun thing to try - watch a 90s romcom from the point of view of the man who the girl is with at the start of the film. Yeah, I'm fine with the man not getting some definitive say over it, but the fact it's not equal, when the state then says that responsibility for that kid falls on that person is equal, is baffling. If either party says "I can't support this kid and provide for it so we shouldn't bring it into this world to be insufficiently cared for", mother or father, that should absolve them of any responsibility for its future care if it's within the permissable abortion window, IMO. It is fucking terrifying to have a decision that can completely ruin your life be made by only one of the two. There should be a law where if you want an abortion during that initial window of possibility, as either one of the two parents, you immediately disavow any further rights but are also "off the hook" for any further financial responsibility. If you don't want a kid but the other party is insistent on it, you shouldn't be forced to pay for it for 18 years. How this has never been serious…

I bet that if she went on a date with a guy that was married and "forgot to mention it", she'd be telling everyone what a piece of shit he was. But if you forget to mention a child, that's somehow okay and endearing because you "just did it to get a chance for him to see the real me before society gets in the way".
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen01/10/20 12:33 AM

And despite the fact that it very clearly affects you both, for some reason only one party gets to decide if they want it to be treated or to turn into an 18 year issue. Even if the other party supplies and pays for the treatment to cure it, if the other party doesn't want to take that cure, then the other one who had no further say in the matter still has to live with the condition for every day of the rest of their life potentially.

People who are addicted to crack have a physiological addiction to that drug. People who pay for an OnlyFans might be getting brain chemicals from masturbation, but they don't need that OF payment to get those chemicals. The two are very different "addictions". One is paying for a drug. The other is paying for something that you could get for free that produces your own drug.

But the second? If you support that,…

Yeah, that would be kinda hard to buy, huh? Your "virgin" wife gets pregnant and 3 dudes from afar (supposedly) show up with gifts? "Yeah, we're just random guys that decided to come bring incredibly expensive gifts". Surprising there's no follow up story about Joseph being put to death for the murder of 3 wise dudes.

I always felt unbelievably bad for Joseph in the hypothetical story. "How are you pregnant? We haven't had sex!" "Errrrr... Holy Spirit did it! It was ghost rape, not me fucking some guy down a back alley outside a bar."

When I was her age, rent was about 35% of my earnings per month or if adjusted for inflation was about $1,500. So I spent 1000 $ less on rent than she does. Yes, but it was much, much, much, much easier to buy a house back then. If I went back to when I was your age (not gonna try and guess how long ago that was but if it was more than 20 years ago then I'm right), I could do the exact same job in the exact same place and get far more house for my money. The problem is that they're not making an…

What the fuck? I can understand someone who used to be a sex worker wanting to lead a normal life now she's "out of the game", but a current sex worker wondering why a man doesn't want to date her? What the actual fuck? Of course he doesn't want to date you while you spend every day being plowed by some other dudes, and then come home to your body covered in other men's jizz.

Childrens brains havent developed the fine critical thinking skills to negotiate between 'I can have sex with this person but should I'. To play devils advocate, I will answer that with the fact that the age of criminal responsibility, under which you can be held legally responsible for your decision to kill or rape someone, is less than that. Can't remember what it is in the US, but in the UK it's 10. So on the one hand, the law says "you're too young to be able to choose whether or not you're …

The fact that she says how many guys she has chasing her and that she shouldn't have to settle? That doesn't imply low maintenance to me at all. If she was low maintenance, she'd surely have already picked someone who ticked enough boxes for her to be happy and been fairly okay with it.

This is fucking brilliant. Thankfully we're pretty much past the "penis size jokes" in sitcoms now, but back in the 90s where I'm pretty sure it still happened a bit, I always thought that it would be funny to see the reaction to a joke about the size of a woman's vagina, to see the explosion of "OMG that's so misogynistic" afterwards. Because I fail to see how one can be funny and not the other. Make a joke about a man having a tiny dick and he's totally entitled to make a joke about how your v…

If you've spent 50 years on this Earth, of which we expect that approx 30-35 of it is time that you're potentially interested in finding someone to hang around with in a relationship, and people keep leaving you, chances are the problem is with you, not them. I mean, the fact you're willing to write about every "wrong" thing you perceive about them, in the Femail section of the Daily Mail, no less, is pretty telling.

Basic etiquette suggests that if a group of all people have only one language in common, then conversation should stick to that language unless circumstances necessitate doing otherwise. We can reasonably assume that the hotel staffer spoke English, and that there was no reason she needed to engage him in Italian and thus isolate the boyfriend. How dare you mansplain etiquette to me?!?

That might explain why they need a strategy TBH. If I go out with a woman and the first date has shown a connection, I'm happy to pay for the first meal, but if she then tries to insist I pay for the next one, I'm only paying 50%, walking out and never seeing her again. So, yeah, if she insists on every meal being the man's duty to pay, no wonder she's fucking failing at dating.

To be fair, apps like Tinder have algorithms to ensure that people who are shitty at contacting people get less matches, IIRC. So if this woman is only matching with people she has no interest in and ignores them, her pool of offered people might actually be getting smaller and smaller.

If she's just looking for a friend, why is she on a fucking dating app? I honestly think that these apps should delete these profiles that say stuff like "I'm not looking for a hookup or a relationship", as it either means they're misunderstanding the utility of the app or they are fucking liars, both of which should be enough to remove them for.

How does she think that after getting pregnant by a random doggy is the time to get a good man? How would she not? She is about to be a single mother - therefore this is the perfect time. And for her, right about now, a "good man" is "any man with a bit of cash".

Like theoretical physics? So you're saying that you think that the mathematics of how the fucking universe works is something that has absolutely no application other than to teach other students? Really? You realise that nuclear physics and space travel once started out as "theoretical physics"? Things like history and art often have no immediate real-world applications, but they're both extremely important to human society and culture. But do you have to study art to be a great artist? The queen thing is fine if they're actually worth anything. There's a reason no major Disney Princess movies start with the queen in her castle with her bastard child, sponging off the state taxes until some pathetic beta comes climbing through the window after finding her on a dating app, before whisking her away to a new life of luxury. Though with the way society is going, I fully expect to see this as a major Disney Princess movie in the next 10-15 years.

Who wants a Fri and sat night only relationship? Worst part is that it's not even that - it's Fri and Sat only when she wants, but any time she gets time away from the parenting, she's gonna expect attention or you'll be "ignoring her", even if it's the only time of the week / month / year that you do something you really enjoy, or see someone really important to you. Lol. But, yeah, why the fuck would I want a relationship with someone that already has 4 people who are automatically above me in…

I also enjoy laughing so I very much like her profile. Anyway, why the fuck would a man "with his life in order" want to pick up someone with 4 kids and a pitbull who needs to wear that much makeup to try and look good? No offense to anyone who is doing a great job of single parenting, but you won't land someone with their "life in order" once you have 4 of someone else's for them to look after. EDIT: Also, just googled "bully pitbull". God lord are those things ugly to me. I'm sure some of you …

Oh man, I'd love to see the reaction to that if someone suggested it. Probably the best way to counter an idea like this if it ever got off the ground. Like /r/menkampf. "Age 12 is when the Jews get boisterous and they can't be trusted around our all-Nazi drivers."

I loved when unisex toilets started becoming a thing because people were offended about being gendered and then feminists sat up and said "wait, this is sexist, where's our safe space". It was like the bit in that Marvel Cap America movie where all the huge gunships start targeting each other, all the Triggereds getting together to shout at each other.

Welsh said she won't be giving up on her plan just yet despite the "intimidating" encounter. She said: "I felt they were laughing, that my idea was ludicrous." That is hilarious. She's trying to make out that their reaction to her idea was borne of sexism, not because it's fucking stupid and sexist. Lol. "The mean men laughed at me! My feels!".

I'm pretty sure the 5 years would have been for "repeatedly offending", not for the "stealing food" bit. Don't want to go to prison? Don't repeatedly break the law after the system has specifically told you "stop breaking the law or you're going away for a long time".
/r/PussyPassDenied24/04/19 08:17 AM

Which is a bad situation, but can be avoided by not breaking the law. Can't afford $50 per day of jail? Here's a mad idea - don't be a criminal!

I think it's about the (very real) possibility of being raped, which is independent of what they identify as. But shouldn't that be one of the things you consider when you transition? She left her kid alone for hours. If it was 30 minutes it might be different. But even if 4 hours is a lie / exaggeration, still sounds like it was far longer than a "shit, I've only got a few minutes here, my daughter's in the car too!". You shouldn't feel in any way bad for her.

It definitely shouldn't. Someone having an attraction to someone who is biologically sexually developed (post-puberty) and someone having an attraction to someone who's pre-pubescent (i.e. the biological definition of a child) is a big, big distinction. Using the word "pedophile" for someone who's attracted to a 14 year old, someone who in some countries is over the age of sexual maturity (regardless of how wrong that may be) hugely dilutes the term which should be used to describe people who fi…

Which is surely what's happening if they are the one stay-home parent in a two-parent family? "Feminism" is a stupid term. It should be like "gender equality campaigner" or something. I'm a "feminist" in terms of wanting the world to be gender blind, but I'm never gonna say that one gender needs additional help or rights just because they're that particular gender. Because that's got another word for it: "sexist".

If people want equality and for men to not treat women differently, then I'm sorry but they lose their right for me to try and defend them from threats just because they're women. I'd still try and protect someone from a physical threat if I felt like I was equipped to help, but I'm not getting my ass whipped for a woman any more solely because she's a woman, because apparently that's sexist.

There should be two lists. One for rapists who violently rape, drug-rape, or commit statutory offenses against actual children (rather than people who are like a week shy of being legal or whatever), and then one for all other sexual offenses (including crying false rape). However, I feel like whoever made this petition shot the petition in the foot right out of the gate by saying that the petition is specifically about "women who lie". It's like when a woman complains about always having to wear makeup, or women in films always wearing makeup. Again, that's all on other women. Not men.

Agreed. How do you possibly prove beyond reasonable doubt that someone raped another person if they didn't actually fucking do it? It baffles me how this actually happens.

We'll probably still be paying for it when she gets out though.

I feel really bad for the victim. I mean, having it on official record that you had sexual activity with that? Poor guy.

Why the sarcasm tag? Tumblr has taught me that all men are rapists.

she pointed out that the couple had stated they were married in filing their federal tax return in 2015. Holy shit this guy is lucky. This case was done entirely on technicalities by the sound of it (i.e. the point that they never exchanged spoken vows) but I'd have not been surprised if that joint tax return stating they were married had been accepted as valid evidence. This guy must have been born with a horseshoe up his ass, or the law is far more cut-and-dry with this stuff than I'd realised…

Technically it was but I'm fully behind it in this kind of situation. Technically, at least here in the UK, "assault" can be as small as literally just touching someone on the shoulder, or throwing a cup of water over them. But you will never get prosecuted in a case like that. And I'm pretty sure nobody would prosecute for something reasonable like shoving an asshole out of a stationery train.

I know I'm subbed here, but I'd happily upvote this if I saw it in any other sub and it was a guy being kicked off. I might be in a minority, who knows, but I'm not here because I enjoy violence against women. I just enjoy people being called on their bullshit, like /r/quityourbullshit.

As a 14 year old boy, I'd have been fucking happy. But she wouldn't have been villified if he'd sent her a wink face as a public comment rather than saying he found it weird. (But I guess he has model-looking girls his own age throwing themselves at him so he couldn't give a shit about some random model jokingly hitting him up.)
/r/PussyPassDenied11/11/17 07:29 PM

Absolutely epic. Brilliantly handled and gave her the rope to hang herself with.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/11/17 11:47 AM

The way to tell if it's a problem or not is how you would feel if the roles were reversed. If it was a mid-20s male model saying this about one of the 14 year old girls in the show, I'd find that more than a little odd. If you wouldn't, then that's up to you, but if you feel differently about it then you might have a double standard that you need to address.

/r/PussyPassDenied01/11/17 08:50 AM

Did you just put an L instead of an I in the word "nigger" to try and stop people getting offended? If someone's going to get offended at you using it in a discussion (rather than using it offensively, which I agree is abhorrent), the swap of the I for a letter that looks like an I is not gonna stop that.

Why would you try and hook up with her? If I was famous and single I'd rather hook up with someone much more attractive and who's been ploughed by far fewer men.

If I'm being 100% honest: if I was 15 and I'd been propositioned by her, I'd have gone for it. Here in England the age of criminal responsibility is 10. I don't know how on one hand you can say that someone is mature enough to be prosecuted for something they've done wrong but on the other hand say that a 15 year old guy is too young to consent to having sex with a woman. I know that at that age I wasn't legally old enough but I feel like I was mature enough to say that yes, I'm willing to have …

It's genius actually. He gives her just enough rope to hang herself with - he knows 100% that she will be so offended by his (correct) assertion that she is easily offended, that he can just hand it to her and let her look like an idiot. I particularly enjoy the laugh from the presenter.

I looked at length yesterday but couldn't find any studies that mentioned how they'd accounted for the difference in how often men and women report their mental illness. Because I honestly think that most of the difference in the perceived levels of mental illness is that men (and I say this as a man) are really bad at admitting they've got anything wrong, mental or physical. It's a known thing amongst doctors that men will tend to wait until a problem gets bad before they go seek medical attent…

it's always ironic that the "my father spanked me and I turned out fine" people fail to realise that these women are the ones whose parents beat them and didn't turn out fine That's because there is a difference between a spanking as a child as a punishment (that is explained to you before as a deterrent and explained to you afterwards by a parent who's actually trying) and a beating by a worthless POS who doesn't know even begin to know how to turn you into a productive member of society. A woman in a queue was getting aggressive with me once. I ignored her until she pushed me, where I shoved myself back to where I was, pushing her back in the process. She tried to hit me, the bouncer stepped in and told me to go inside. The last I saw of her, I'm pretty sure he was forcibly restraining her, the nasty fat cow.

Wait... I was reading that after glossing over some of the details and figured it was a teenager and was like "oh, fair enough, they got jail time, good". Then I read that it was a damn toddler / young kid. What the fuck? They deserve much longer sentences than what they got.

Whew, this one is a doozy! Pointon broke down in tears and asked if she could drop the charges when her account was challenged by police Hmm, funny that. Feeling the regret at coincidentally the same time that she gets called out... hmm. Also, thank god this arsehole isn't going to be a cop. Can you imagine how fucking corrupt she'd have been if she thinks it's acceptable behavior to cry rape?

That was the particularly weird bit about it for me. "So the judge let her off due to extenuating circumstances huh? Fair enough. Let's see what they were, bet they're good to let her get away with tha- Oh, she is a drug user. Well, that totally makes it better!" Yay, justice!

Fox told him if he did tell anyone she would say he consented. She also sent him a message on social media saying if he told anyone 'she would say that he wanted it'. Can see why he didn't talk. The shame of having people think you voluntarily slept with that thing would be too much to take.

I haven't watched Dragons Den in a long time, but who's the one on the left?! I immediately thought of this: http://www.cracked.com/article_15788_the-top-25-men-who-look-like-old-lesbians.html EDIT: Also the bit where she tries to explain how 20% is 5% of one company and 15% of another is possibly the funniest thing I've seen on TV all year. Well found, OP!

Didn't De Beers make that one up? EDIT: Jesus Christ - I'd thought it was just a 'likely to be true' rumor. Nope, seems like it's not only true but they only started it because they didn't do very well during the great depression and people are gullible. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-27371208

It's more than that - she's also ugly, and she's a model. What the fuck? I'm not saying she's ugly because she's a transsexual - I've seen plenty of transsexual MTF people that I find hot. But she's not.

It's one area where companies could produce more to cater to a wider consumer base. I have feet that are a half-size rather than being on a "full size" type measurement. About 50% of the shoe industry apparently fucking hates me and people like me. Who the fuck manufactures shoes and doesn't bother to make half sizes? I feel like it's a similar situation and it's incredibly frustrating.

The most hilarious bit is that all the idiots who call for a subreddit to be banned totally miss the fact that if you ban a subreddit, the users don't magically disappear - they just go elsewhere. If you didn't like /r/fatpeoplehate, you didn't have to go there. But now I see lots of hilarious jokes about fat people everywhere because some offended overweight people complained about the sub too much.

Fucking hate it when that happens because then it means I have to avoid that word so people don't assume I'm some copycat asshole. Like, I will call someone pedantic if they're being pedantic, but now I can't because it's some Reddit word-du-jour? Gah.

The most stupid part is that she didn't suddenly appear over there like out of a teleporter - she had plenty of journey time to read up on them or watch a bit more about them on YouTube. What a moron.

This is the opposite of pussy pass. I doubt she’ll suffer any consequences because she’ll be treated as a minor and female and a victim". Um... In that case isn't this exactly 'pussy pass'? I think you mean this is the opposite of 'pussy pass denial'.

I'm gonna guess something probably isn't ok and she could use some help. I'd say the same about most people who flip out and murder people, but the law applies equally to all (at least on paper). If we could rehabilitate all offenders, that would be fantastic, but unless that's gonna be a unilateral thing, then I'm afraid she's getting no special treatment.

What the hell is the point of concurrent sentences? Surely if you were in a legal system where they use concurrent sentencing, committing a murder or rape or something would basically be carte blanche to commit any other offense, as the sentence will be lighter. ELI5 please!

I've actually found this a really interesting area. At some point, prosthetics will be far, far better than real limbs, and at that point, if you had national healthcare or insurance that would cover it, it would actually be in your best interests to "accidentally" lose part of your body. If you could either have crappy human arms or ones that were far stronger and had attachments and computers built in, what incentive would there be to keep your crappy originals?

If legs were in particular demand on transplant lists, that would be a really interesting concept. "You destroyed someone's legs so now you are gonna make it right by donating yours".

No, and he's not saying that she should lose her legs or anything stupid like that, but just that 7 years is really light for permanently changing that guys entire life by the amount she ruined it. He never said he was asking for eye-for-an-eye.
/r/PussyPassDenied23/07/17 04:22 PM

Agreed, but I'd argue that 7 years is light for what she actually did, so coupling that with the fact that it was pure luck that she didn't kill 2 or 3 little league kids too, I'd say it makes it seem especially low.
