First of all, go read the article. Don't do the Reddit thing where you comment without bothering to read it. Good article overall. I like the point it makes that Western culture has become a Female Supremacist culture (my words) "where his wife holds every legal and cultural card — including the power to withdraw sex, his children, his assets and freedom" and how that clashes with people that come from Muslim or other cultures where male supremacy is the norm. The ideal culture should be neutral…

Ain't that the truth. Kids have a problem? They go to mom. Mom has a problem? She goes to the man. Man has a problem? You're on your own, bro. The man has to figure it out and fix it, no matter how bad it is.

Let’s not be so nihilistic. A properly written and vetted prenup is far less likely to get thrown out then an improper, rushed one. There’s a right way and a wrong way to do this.
/r/MensRights07/12/25 11:40 PM

Two options: a solid prenup vetted by her lawyers with plenty of time, or marry a high earning woman. Or one that has generational wealth.

And for every one who did, there's a thousand who didn't. You can find messed up people in any large group. You cannot define the group by what the messed up people do. Personally, one of the things I like about this day and age is that the messed up people let you know so clearly that they are, so you can avoid them.

Come now. There are sick women, just as there are sick men. The article says she was suicidal. I think you're extrapolating too much. Yes, some women go with the criminals. They are stupid. Or mentally ill, like this one. Not every woman will do the same thing.

OP, you will likely need some time to establish your credibility. People can change, but for others to perceive that change it takes time. OP, you were psychologically abused by a pair of men-hating lesbians. What you were taugth can kindly be described as hatefull.
/r/MensRights29/12/24 06:00 AM

Yes. When a woman decides she's ready to marry at 30, she basically has very little reproductive window left to make it worthwile, especially if you add the courting and engagement time.
/r/MensRights25/11/24 01:12 AM
15

Absolutely. You can have it all, but not at the same time. And if you want children, start early. My mother-in-law is a great example on how to do it right. She got married right after college, had and raised 4 kids. Once they were old enough, she went back to work as a teacher and eventually a HS principal. She had it all. Sequentially.

And he should be free to coerce with no consequence? is that what you are saying? This should be A-OK and legal? Your boss should be legally allowed to tell you to bend over to keep your job?
/r/MensRights22/08/24 07:38 PM

But that's not the case here. He stood as a gatekeeper to a career. You played his game or you were gone. Is as if you studied... I don't know, welding, let's say. The only welding company in town calls you for an interview where the boss tells you to take your pants down and bend over, or no job. That's what this was like. And that should be punishable.
/r/MensRights22/08/24 07:30 PM
23

It's coercive. And it should be punished. We make the world by our laws. I don't think we want a world where a rich person can coerce people just because they are rich and it be legal for them to do so. What if you had a male boss who's gay and he demanded you sleep with him or you are fired? Should that not be illegal? Clearly some women went along with it. It's still wrong. I have a mother, sisters and nieces. They should not have to put up with coercion like that. And those who choose to coer…

Fellow male here. I found much truth that was enlightening, but also many lies, in RP. I kept the truths and discarded the lies. Great insights. The truth is there are degrees that are hardly worth it. I call them JAG degrees- Just Another Guy. You don't want to be Just Another Guy with a degree in psychology or English or so on, basically replaceable by a hundred other candidates. Great advice, OP. Let me add one: Don't get tattoos. When the dating app The League first came out, it caught my attention as an app that limited itself to Ivy League grads or people with higher degrees. I spent some time browsing there. Right. Same here. I never have cheated, and I've never been to a strip club. Then again, I'm the "going to church every Sunday" kind of guy, and have been for over 30 years. Well, look at you, for example. I haven't even seen you and I can already tell you we would not get along, just by a few word you wrote. It would have been the same if I stood near you and heard you speak the words. So yes, you can tell a lot about people, often by looking at them and listening. Their race. Their age, approximately. Their social class. Nationality. Maybe what part of the country they grew up, by their accent. What groups they associate/support (BLM shirt, or an NRA hat). Their e…

So you see the girl of your dreams walking near you, and you would not say anything? And you would not approach her, even though she might walk away and you'll never see her again? That's not very brave or bold. Too many people nowadays live with their nose on their phone and never developed people skills. Yes, approaching and meeting strangers is hard. It's also worth it. Yes, it takes skill to make a stranger comfortable with you, but it can be done, and it is done by millions every day. I've …

He's also banned for life to work for the Fed government or its contractors. And since we're engineers, it's not a trivial ban. Happily, he made it and has a great job now, but it was a rough ride.

Not to make light of your tragic events, but being a widower is an advantage in the market because: 1- It shows you are marriage material. You were willing and able to marry, and a woman found you appealing enough to do so. That means you might marry again. You know how to love and how to commit, and that is not abundant nowadays 2- Sympathy. While divorced or never-married men are looked upon with suspicion, you get sympathy instead. Shame, too, because she's one of the truly 10/10 girls I've ever seen in my life.

Well, it's not like most of those athletes were the church-going type. She's looking for a unicorn: A rich, handsome, fit, tall guy who is chaste and goes to church. And then, they have to get along too. We are talking fractions of a percent here.

Then goes on to describe Heavily tattooed guys as "deep and artistic" Divorced gals did it once, they can easily do it again. High risk.

You know, it wan't that long ago that being able to have sex with your wife was the ultimate "wife privilege" a guy got. And back then, guys were far more interested in getting married. How long do you think guys would string along a girl if she didn't sleep with him? I don't think we would see guys having a "committed" relationship with a gal for 3 to 8 years and then deciding not to marry after all. Free milk, cow purchase and all of that...
/r/RedPillWomen23/07/20 09:04 PM

OP, I believe you if you say that's not what you meant, but the post seems to suggest that, with the whole "cost of admission" language. No one likes to feel used. Maybe going dutch and letting things develop naturally, if they do, is a way were both genders can feel that they are not.

I know that. That's why you date for a long time. It's impossible to hide who you really are for months at a time. It comes through, eventually. What you do affects what you are like. We all are what we repeatedly do. And no one can hide what we are, really, not for months at a time. It can be sensed and discerned. I don't know how to explain it, but I do know how to recognize it.

And I had been around the dating block to recognize how a good, honest, wholesome and sane person is different from a person who is not those things, because I had dated both kinds by then. It has been demonstrated that a high n-count is correlated statistically with being more likely to be unhappy in a marriage, cheat and get divorced. Yeah, I remember feeling just like him. When dating, us late-twenties/early thirties (back then) guys used to call it the "no flight zone", because of how childish and immature young girls are. People need to be given a few years after they move out of home to make choices on their own. Once they do, you can evaluate them by their choices. Their choices tell you who they are. That's a great reason to not marry a superyoung girl.

I wouldn't say he doesn't love her. But he might not be serious. OP, you need to let him know that you are serious about making a permanent commitment, and he need to be too if you are to be together. Don't waste your youth in commitment-less "commitment".

Dude here. Don't confuse "most attracted" with "marriageable". If my wife dropped dead and I had to date again, I would not be looking at twenty-somethings. I would be looking at an attractive, healthy, wholesome woman with her life together who would be at a place in life such that we could build a future together. That won't be a woman in her twenties. I am "most attracted" to chocolate cake and ice cream. I actually eat whole grains, veggies and protein. Same idea.

All decent, good, traditional men have "Whorephobia" when it comes to personal relationships. I'm afraid you are so deep into the lifestyle you have completely lost touch with what a good guy is like. It doesn't mean they'll be mean to you. It meant they will not even consider you for a relationship, unless some MAJOR, and very sincere changes happen to you. And maybe not then. Right. The way I say it is you can have it all, just not at the same time. My MIL, whom I greatly admire, (and I'm a guy) went to college, got married young to a good guy, had 4 kids, raised them while Engineer FIL brought in the bacon, and THEN became a principal & teacher in a high school geared for at-risk youths. Now she's retired and has lots of fun as a matriarch, grandma, and well-respected person in her community. She had it all, but sequentially, not at the same time.

For many people, dirty =/= sexy. Dirty = disgusting. You might be turning her off. Sexiness can be clean, based on love and treasuring the other person. A girl doesn't have to speak trashy to be turned on, for some it would be a turn-off instead. You might have a good girl in your hands, and your insistence on raunchy stuff isn't helping. I think you are trying to work against her self-image.

If she (or you, for that matter) cheats, she does not have character, by definition. It's like saying an honest person steals, given a chance. No, if they steal, they are not honest. The circumstances do not change the character, they reveal it. I have had many chances to steal. I don't do it. Same with cheating.

Amen. We were meant to be a republic, not a democracy, because the Founding Fathers knew from their reading of history that democracies always self-destruct. I think a good rule would be "No representation without taxation." You don't pay taxes? You live off public assistance? No voting for you.

Back then, yes. Nowadays, nations with volunteer forces mostly see the underclass and the ambitious poor signing up to improve their lot in life. I did, and it did. Went to war, too. Middle class will think long and hard about it, and for the upper class, there us no way.

Your wife thinks you might cheat. From what you said, she's right. It's not a good recepie to keep a happy, functioning marriage. I'm all for some dread (she realizes you are an appealing option to other women and realized she need to work at keeping you), but in your case, you seem to view cheating casually. That destroys her confidence in you and your marriage.

One-year rule: If you intend to get married, after 1 year of dating concrete steps should be taken towards getting married such as getting officially engaged, getting the ring, setting the date, and so on. If not, he's not serious. Be clear on your intentions and goals up front. One year is enough to know a person to know if you could marry each other. Otherwise, women will waste their most marriageable years in a series of "meaningful relationships", also known as serial monogamy dating, which …

Do you want a dominant men or a leader? It's not the same thing. I lead my family. I don't dominate it. Everyone's input and suggestions are taken into account, and I look for the best decision for us. Rarely do I have to put my foot down, because most of the time I don't need to. But I am decisive, and I establish goals, targets and standards. My wife and kids aren't scared to talk to me or to put forth objections or suggestions.

Politely point out to the administration that this is ilegal under Title IX, as they are engaging in gender discrimination. Bring them printouts of news articles about schools losing lawsiuts for doing so. If that is not enough, you may want to sue them. Women's ideal man is very alpha, AND beta. I call them Achievement virtues and Bonding virtues. If you have both, you are so much better. An Achiever with no heart is a jerk. All bonding and no achievement is a wimp. Together, you are the whole package, and every woman's dream.

You know, if she's refusing sex to you on a constant basis, SHE is failing to keep her covenants. Point that out. From Paul to Packer, you can find a lot of backup for that point of view. I have explained to my wife that I can sub-contract feeding, cleaning, and child care to other people, but sex only to my wife. And if she doesn't want to be that wife, I can find one that does. Lots of singles out there looking for a decent man.
