Btw, you may be interested in this guy on YouTube who gives out advice. Listening/reading to some of his material helped me stop being Mr. Nice Guy and at minimum become more assertive.

Of which wasn't necessary for the purpose of asking the question. I described everything in the simple terms of an organization dynamic (even though it's not really a workplace) to give an explanation of the scenario, so that there would be just adequate information for people to interpret and give feedback. Update: Went with ignoring the question so far and left it up to her to wonder about. I'm just going to assume she asked out of curiosity and not read into it. I'm not going to disagree with the first part. You'd be surprised by colleges today, especially the chicks. Sometimes I feel like the only adult in the room.
