He initiated the contact. For all you know, she shoved past him. She beat him to the spot and then he elbowed her in the back to get past her. Wait - was there one spot, or was there another he was trying to get past her to? Then she turns and they start to grapple. You mean she says something to him, instigating an argument? Could it be our flaxen-haired damsel in distress is just another entitled, racist college girl?? He has complete control over her. Such control that he has to avert her rai…

I'm having difficulty identifying where the cut is. All over? If he got hit that squarely, why is his actual eye not bruised?

The tactic you will see used is the claim that rape, torture and abuse of men in movies is ok because it's happened to women in movies. Some will even claim there should be more such treatment of men by women - you know, for the fairness. In fact, some involved with the film may attempt to sell the film this way, and sites like Jezebel and Salon will likely encourage women to enjoy it as revenge porn, and publish articles simultaneously applauding and attempting to diminish representations of cr…

Used to be one of my regular online stops. I stopped going there for two reasons: 1) the pervasive and toxic culture war agenda; and 2) it automatically redirected me to a US-focused version of the site.

Interesting that she says it was the man - not she - who set the non-sexual parameters of the encounter: We talked a lot, but he insisted that since we're both married it was only conversation and that's what he wanted.

In part, because the US' history of religious tolerance has since the 18th century given birth to a rabid form of apocalyptic christianity, which sees the reemergence of Israel (& the Temple Mount) as a harbinger of Jesus' return. These nutcases comprise a great deal of our politicians. Also, the US has sold its soul for stability in a region that provides us oil. In other words - it's our own society's fault, just as it is Sweden's fault they live in a sjw hellhole.

It's all a media construction. It went something like this: Week 1: The bogus "Beach Body" fiasco. In which women ignored idealized men in the same ad campaign to create click bait for the feminist movement by asserting that beauty does not, or should not, exist - for women. Week 2: "Dad Bod" mania. In which the same collective of feminist social media journos sought to further distract from standards for female beauty by creating out of whole cloth a bogus movement about male beauty (which also…

Can corroborate. Almost identical scenario. Man and & woman in an alley, man with hands around woman's throat. Me to man: "get the fuck off her!"; Woman to me: "Fuck you! Leave us alone!". So long, idiots. Edit: ... & so long white knight

History is full of men who lacked nearly everything in the looks column who nevertheless could steal the girl off any man's arm. What do men like Pablo Picasso, Serge Gainsbourg and Henry Kissinger have in common? Maximize your potential, yes. But do your thing, excel at it, and act like a man.

I don't mean to suggest that women need more advocates, they don't, but I don't think any group that tacitly accepts sexism directed at the minority has any credibility. Just to be clear: Women are not a minority. They are the majority in the US. The group you are describing, which tacitly accepts sexism directed at the minority, is feminists.

As someone who subscribes to both subs (which is not the same thing as saying I agree with everything in either sub), I must say I'm somewhat surprised at the amount of hostility here toward TRP. It's disappointing.

I think the foundational premise of TRP is not that it opposes and tries to change the current structure of society, but that it recognizes the way society actually is, and behaves accordingly.

It's no coincidence that this comes immediately on the heels of the "Beach Body" nonsense. Feminists and other SJW allies who are offended that men find fit females attractive rage against standards for women, and then immediately turn around and attempt to diminish standards for men. Doing so lets women off the hook, and does so by employing the same old trope they always use: "it's only bad when you discuss our bodies; we can say what we want." Lowered standards is always their goal.

This may not be what you're asking, but it's my experience. I had a LTR with a desired, successful woman. She attempted at every opportunity to make my life hell. From day one she was demanding, jealous and expected to be treated like a princess. I stayed in it for a while because I could handle her bs, and because behind closed doors princess was also a submissive freak. Recently I met a woman with a high school education. She asks me zero questions, pays her own way, fellates me on request, an…

Then she's probably just dealing with a lot of stress and trying to make herself occasionally feel better in ways women often do (i.e., by seeking attention). It sounds like you let her know what you thought about that. But definitely keep an eye on it - if she's still relatively young she may not be aware yet of what issues she's actually dealing with. If you're a secure man and she's with you there is obviously something she likes about that. Hope all works out.

Serious question: does she call you "daddy", take on a submissive role in the relationship, or do you otherwise engage in the D/s portion of bdsm? This is how "daddy issues" typically manifest when they overtly impact relationships. If the answer to these questions is No: then she may not actually have such issues - or at least she may not have them to the extent that they should be of more concern than any other aspect of your relationship. Everybody has issues, and everybody is influenced to s…

Perhaps we have become so accustomed to flagrant examples of sexism in media that we have become enured to the more subtle ways media reinforces the current status quo. For decades men have been pointing out that male rape is an issue that requires attention, and for decades it has been swept aside as a lesser issue, or non-issue, while attention is directed almost exclusively to women who are raped, or are victims of sexual assault. Now that the NYT has the opportunity to focus on the issue, th…

Oh, Canada ... "Long-term, the aim is to combat the rates of domestic violence and sexually transmitted infections. Short-term, the goal is to tutor young men in healthy relations with women and non-destructive masculinity."
