This an interesting, and very judgmental response. I miss my family when I am away from them. They are a very important part of my life. Thanks everyone for your great comments. I should give some context. I have always been primary parent to my boys (70/30 time, chores, parenting) and before the split I was vacation planner, packer, executor, beast of labor. The ex liked to keep working on vacation, so we'd often have days of her in the hotel room while she worked and I did kid wrangling . . . The fact that you put a GPS on her car suggests none no GPS tracking was necessary. You had obviously lost trust in her (maybe for good reason). Without trust, the relationship was already over. The fact that you confirmed that she wasn't trustworthy is irrelevant. The 5 hours you spent stalking her was aggressive, unnecessary, intrusive, and belies some unresolved pain you have with what is happening.
