It's all mutilation so circumcision should be banned as well. When a cosmetic elective procedure kills babies that the babies can't consent to, then it should be banned. FGM is banned so why is MGM not banned? The law never should've been written gendered in the first place. It should've included men and intersex individuals from the get go. | 12 | Make Male Genital Mutilation (Circumcision) an offence unless medically requiredActually Circumcision is forbidden in Christianity. What you are referring to is in the Old Testament (and inapplicable to modern Christians) and the Jewish Torah. But either way, there's all kinds of horrible things written in religious texts. Martial rape, Slavery, etcetera. That doesn't make them justifiable. You don't get to violate some else's rights because of your own personal religious beliefs. Not only does it severely impact proper penile function, but even if it didn't it'd still be a violation of a man's right to bodily autonomy and integrity You wouldn't preform cosmetic surgeries with less impact than circumcision on an infant so why would you preform an extremely invasive ampuation??? | /r/MensRights | 28/11/21 02:29 AM |

READ COMMENT DESCRIPTION TOOA form of social organization in which the father is the supreme authority in the family, clan, or tribe and descent is reckoned in the male line, with the children belonging to the father's clan or tribe. | -5 | MYTH: Patriarchy Oppresses Men Too. Patriarchy Is A Feminist Myth. READ COMMENT DESCRIPTION TOOThe patriarchal society of the past was always harmful to both men and women. The father was the leader of the household, he could beat you if you defy him. He'd decided who you married. Men and women had very strict roles they were expected to follow. The way of thinking that men have to be tough, can't cry, don't taking male victims seriously all date back to the patriarchy as well. | /r/AntiFeminists | 03/05/20 01:51 PM |

| 1 | End circumcisionShit actually backed up by facts not just wild accusations. There's only one study that I know of that actually shows circumsison has any benefit at all. Literally just one. And it was done in subsaharan Africa not in the US or Europe (completely different conditions), circumcised men couldn't have sex for several weeks after the surgery, and they were instructed on the importance of condoms. First of all this is only one study (there's always anomalies you can't rely on only one study), second … | /r/MensRights | 03/03/20 04:10 PM |
| 7 | End circumcisionThe foreskin and the glans are fused together until puberty. There's no reason to circumcise a child ever. Circumsison isn't even a treatment for Phimosis in teens over 16. I wasn't overly interested in finding out about my nephew's penis.) And the other got kicked in the penis which caused a tear in the foreskin. | -1 | Woman brags how she raped her husband.Forcing yourself down on someone isn't penitration A man can have another man or woman force them to go down on them and then their sexual organ will penetrate their mouths.
