some SMV True. Obviously you don't want to be a slovenly smelly neckbeard--but don't sell yourself short just because you don't have six pack abs or you're bald or short. Confidence goes a long way. As far as "creepy" goes: It's the beauty of asking not directly about her--but about "her perfume"; her creepiness radar won't be so sensitive if you're not that burly fireman type. Plus you've got a natural out if she gets that valley girl 'eww' look on her face -- just repeat the name, thank her, a…

this is terrible advice. 2008 and "the great recession" would like to have a word with you. if you took out a $1 million loan for a house with 200k down and the home appreciated by 20%, you just made 200k. ...but only if you sold the house just then. In reality, you're still broke because you owe the bank $800,000. And if you took out a $1 million loan for a house with 200k down and the home depreciated by 20%, you just lost 200k. Or if you lose your job, or your business fails, or you become di…

In kevins case he took on a tremendous amount of growth and it blew up in his face. I was really thinking more about OP's company. It sounds like their business was built on 'buying now and paying later'. Of course it's also doubtful that Kevin funded his business himself, so he most likely took on a lot of debt. Kevin's situation would not have meant the end of his business and years of trouble if he had cash-flowed things from the start. It would have sucked--no argument there--but he would ha…

Proverbs 22:7: The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender. Never open your business on debt. Don't run your business on debt. Stop living on borrowed money and financially speaking, your business/life will never be raped by Mr. Chad D. Triad.

So much alpha that I cringed. Merely calling something "amoral" doesn't make it so. And even claiming something is "amoral" is, in fact, a claim of morality.

It's a good marketing idea. The key here though is to make sure you're subtle. You don't want it to be obvious you're trolling, you want to be just reasonably sexist enough to make the feminazis flip their lids.

Fucking relax. Right. I'm not the one trying to pin a fucking DeNiro RomCom as a bluepill indoctrination. I guess the propaganda was effective. This illustrates my point exactly about the power of subtlety.

Anne Hathaway is a helpless twit the entire movie unless a man fixes her Except for the part where she's the I-can-do-it-all-by-myself CEO who built the company from scratch into an uber successful giant? I think we really did watch different movies.
/r/TheRedPill22/01/16 08:50 AM

It's a Rom-Com It's not a rom-com. There's very little romance in there. But the scene in the bar where she says what happened to all the men? Yes. that scene was great; that's the "truth" part of the lie. AF/Cheater Cheating is not synonymous with being Alpha. The character is a cheater, but by no means an 'alpha.'

This is why feminists are always okay with advice like "Go lift. Be confident. Dress well" Totally agree. And there's the rub--and the genius in this kind of propaganda: it's superficially red pill, and would serve to quell the objections of any Beta who is just starting to notice that something isn't right while still keeping him in the same feminist box.
/r/TheRedPill22/01/16 08:41 AM

I really liked the character. I agree with you. I liked his character as well. That's where the subtlety of the propaganda comes in. He's a classic "man's man of a different generation"--in all the ways you cited. He should be the role model these kids have. But then when, in his speech, he "goes all feminist" at the end--that's the kicker that seals in the propaganda claim. "REAL men are feminists."

The most shocking thing to me about this stuff is that the people praise this in women in a sort of, "if guys can do it too, so can you, WOO!" way. What women fail to realize in this whole topic of female sexuality is that the guys who actually DO go around incessantly bragging about how many girls they've been with are either A) sixteen or B) completely looked down on by other men. It's a weird fixation that the modern women has on the bragging of high schoolers and the lower echelons of societ…

You screwed up by refusing to make a move. "you're not mature enough..." That wasn't an excuse. It was the truth. It translates to, "I was looking for a sexual being to get my juices flowing. You either can't or won't be that person. Instead, you act like a 15 year old on his first date."

Yeah but the Mormons as individuals don't have a genuine passion. He leaders are more or less pressured into their positions by their church, and the kids usually jump ship once they make eagle (which often happens at 14 or 15 for them).

This is a topic that hits home for me a lot, as I spent a lot of my formative years heavily involved in Scouting. The BSA is a dying organization, however. This is farcically ignorant. Every single argument you make just further demonstrates how little serious thought you've put into atheism. Everything you're saying is demonstrably false and yet you keep up with the absurdity, clearly having done zero research from a critical standpoint (even though you'll simultaneously claim to examine everything critically. I love it when trp talks about religion...the true neck beard really comes out. Atheism is incoherent at best and dangerous at worst. On an interesting note, I just went onto pof for a quick glance to see if it really WAS full of all the fatties you say. I did a basic search and actually found a surprising amount of attractive women (95%+ search results). Then I realized they were all in my area (Ukraine--where women still own their femininity). So I went back and changed the "from" criteria to "United States." Free pass to sea world. The West is dying...from clogged arteries and lack of exercise.

In my head I'm just thinking what does this tell me about you as a person. You should be thinking "what does this tell me about ME as a person," OP. It shocks me that you didn't even consider this. She was "over you" before you even broke up. Get a grip and move on. She doesn't want you because you're not attractive. So go to the gym and hit the treadmill. Work on your job and develop passions. it’s about the readiness with which the church has adopted egalitarianism as doctrine. There are two camps among modern (western) evangelicals. The so-called 'egalitarians' (the poster child of which is Rachel Held Evans), and the complementarians (pretty much the rest of Christianity throughout all of history and the world). Probably the biggest 'spokespeople' of that camp are John & Noelle Piper. The saddest part of the egalitarians is that they fell for the lie that a human's value comes from…

Basically what I'm saying is you are not a "normal" "reasonable" guy This is the perfect illustration. Now maybe there are better projects to invest in, but the tech we have today would have been considered "magic" (physically impossible) a hundred years ago. The 'impossible' needs to be pursued, you may not hit your stated goal, but that doesn't mean you don't make progress. A single breakthrough can redefine what is possible and what is not.

Read a book brother. You need to actually start taking your thoughts to their logical conclusions. If you actually took 5 minutes of serious thought about the nonsense you're spitting out, you'd realize that it is precisely that: nonsense. The definition of who is and who is not a "human being" is not subjective. Shave your neck and think brother.

Scientific consensus is the only authority. I'm quite certain that Nazi scientists had consensus that Jews were not humans. When human beings (regardless of whose 'authority' to which they decide to adhere) take it upon themselves to define who and who is not human, you get genocide. A human fetus is still a human--just as a giraffe fetus is still a giraffe or an elephant's an elephant.

This is not new, in fact it's legal. Except most of the time, it's called "abortion." Regardless of how the "progressive" media tries to pass it, it's 97% convenience murder plain and simple. So really, when the whole world is telling you it's "not really a human" in the womb and therefore okay to kill when you don't want it, is it really so far of a stretch that a girl would think it some atrocity to kill he child a year or two after that?

'Support' (at least what i meant by the word), is about emotional encouragement, and motivation--instead of being a drag on you if you screwed up or if things didn't go ideally. The holy books have stayed the same for the past several thousand years, so in that sense i think religious morality has a 'leg up' on secular morality. Secular morality is based on working towards minimizing suffering and expanding conscious wellbeing. For you perhaps. But like I said--a matter of taste. Sur…

You illustrate my point very well. To convince a person of a falsehood however takes intimidation, threats... You say that like those are bad things. With no standard greater than man, man's moral convictions are simply a matter of personal taste.

If you are still buying into the fairytale of religion, how much can I trust your understanding of reality? If you're not buying into the necessity of religion, how much can I trust your understanding of reality?

no sex till marriage and other BP or feminist values... This is hardly a tenent of feminism. No sex till marriage requires self-discipline. Self discipline is RP. "I want it so i need it" is a very bluepill attitude. "I want it so I deserve it" is the hallmark of feminism. And the two mantras go hand in hand.

I just can't understand why someone would want to live in a pool of sadness Because sometimes that pool of sadness is the only thing you have left.

How, pray tell, do they plan to get men signed up for it, seeing as apparently it's geared to completely not favor them? I think they forgot that they're not the only dating app on the market.

In the comments: She froze in a state of panic. That happens in flight/fight response situations. Funny...i would have thought that in flight/fight response, they either flee or fight.

It's interesting to me that Adams has no problem referencing male genitalia as an insult: "dick" in its full form, but "cunt" is somewhy off limits and is only the "c-word"--I understand a person wanting to keep their language clean, but even in referencing, one is apparently acceptable and the other is not...

Did anyone else catch the part where she's willing to let her son miss out on exploring his interests because she's depressed?

I've lived in numerous countries in the former Soviet Union, currently living in one now. They are all lazier than America...and more complacent with a much worse quality of life...and more defeatest...and excuse-driven. The truth is Americans are just much more vocal about our own shortcomings--the rest of the world is happy to jump on that bandwagon.

that said, while I don't know the specifics of why I have this image of Rush, I'm certain in my head that I've read tons of articles about him... If you think I'm just a herd follower... If you are not a "herd follower" you would do well to actually listen to a few of his broadcasts and make your own judgment versus reading articles about him and forming your judgment based on other peoples' judgments of him.

I don't agree with you at all that in an ideal TRP world, a woman would slap a man, and launch herself at him, and he would cower and she'd beat the crap out of him and he wouldn't be able to defend himself, no. I don't think anyone in this thread actually made that argument.

Just retaliation would be punching her right back in the face. But how hard would you punch her? I think right now many women are turning into bullies. I don't disagree. But I don't buy into the feminist lie of egalitarianism, so I would never hit a woman unless she appeared to be a genuine threat to the safety of myself or others. It didn't look to me that Ray Rice was facing any serious threat to his safety from this woman who was half his size, a third his weight, and probably a tenth his mus…

In your opinion, does a larger person ever have the moral imperative to physically retaliate against a smaller aggressor? I'm assuming the key word here is "ever". Then yes, there are times when the larger person has the "moral imperative" to retaliate against a smaller one. But I'm not laying out a principle for all occasions. And this thread is not about all occasions. It's about a specific situation. In those situations with the female friends--did you feel you had the moral imperative to ret…

All I know of this are the videos I saw (him knocking her out, and the first video of him dragging her out), and that the fella was NFL. It wasn't hyperbole as much as just ignorance.

look man, good rule of thumb for life is don't hit anybody unless you're ready to get hit back. So you're saying women should be treated like and responded to exactly like men? Sounds like you've bought into some serious feminist BS...hook, line, and sinker. Keep in mind we're not talking about a slap in the face or grabbing her by the wrists. We're talking about a 300lb NFL player hitting his wife so hard he knocked her clean out. you fucking lemming /r/justneckbeardthings Brother, you (and a l…

but he is more a victim of over-sensitivity in a trumped up P.C. media. You've got to be kidding me. The man knocked his wife unconscious in an elevator. That is not TRP...that's just abusive. If he had done it and it wasn't on camera, it wouldn't be as big as it is. That's kind of the way evidence and video proof work. But everything is being blown out of proportion Yeah kind of like the way he knocked his woman around. Fact of life: public figures who are publicly caught committing crimes will…
