Sorry, I don't log onto reddit much anymore, but just a little update: I actually did go out without her last thursday night and this girl I was dancing with was getting really into it and tried to make out with me. I told my girlfriend about it and boom, the next time I talk to her two days later she's telling me how bad she wants to bang me

Thanks. I do tend to agree and amplify, but I think lately it's been more just disrespectful comments than shit tests. My SMV has been pretty high, but took slight dip for a while; shit happens, I was just going through a bit of a rough patch. I think there'll be less criticism/shit testing again as I'm getting back to being more successful with my life goals. I'll definitely work the dread game too

You're not going to be able to build attraction by texting her. You'd be better off just putting her out of your mind until you're able to see her in person. Especially since you haven't even sealed the deal

This is great advice. I'd also suggest taking a look at Candito's 6 week program as a substitute for Madcow once you get to that point. http://www.canditotraininghq.com/free-strength-programs/

I would have just not responded at all when she sent you the article. Your response comes across as being a little butthurt to be honest. With that being said, I don't think there's anything wrong with an old fashioned dinner date. You do need some beta qualities in a LTR; I take my girlfriend out to a nice dinner every one in a while. Just make sure you're still displaying a majority of alpha traits and passing all her shit tests. I think her sending you the article was more of a comfort test t…

You bring up an interesting point. There are definitely times when a girl views your SMV as being higher than hers. However, her expectations of you won't change no matter how high your SMV is, at least in my experience. You never get to let down your guard/stop being alpha even if the girl isn't that hot.
/r/askTRP22/04/15 12:47 AM

This. My girlfriend is pretty hot but she's has alluded to me being out of her league before. I just smirk. It doesn't really mean you have any more leeway in terms of maintaining her attraction, it just means you're doing a good job so far.
/r/askTRP22/04/15 12:41 AM

No, if she's still really hot she probably hasn't hit the wall yet. She will have hit the wall when her actual SMV drops below her self-assessed SMV. However, she probably has less time left before hitting the wall than a younger woman would. Another decade sounds a little unrealistic.

That's a tough decision because UofF sounds like an awesome school but the 80k difference over four years is a lot of money. Personally, I think if that 80k is just going to turn into debt you should go to GM. Is there any chance you'll get any financial aid besides loans? Are your parents helping foot the bill?

These are certainly good options. However, there are certain things you do need to go to college for, and it sounds like OP wants to do one of them (computer science)

As a man, I don't think you should be the one to enforce the wait; you need to be escalating. With that being said, finding a girl who never gives it up quickly is usually an indicator you aren't going to be dating a former slut. You just have to make sure she's not holding out because she's got you pinned as a beta bux.
/r/askTRP18/04/15 07:04 AM

That's a good point. I took "keep escalating" to mean he wanted to cheat, but that may not necessarily be the case.

I think what he's trying to say is that there's a line between her not behaving exactly like you want all the time and her actually losing attraction. You don't want her to lose attraction/respect for you, but at the same time you don't want to have unrealistic expectations.
/r/TheRedPill15/04/15 09:44 PM

It sounds like a "comfort test" to me. You can't be all alpha in a LTR, you also have to exhibit beta traits sometimes.

I'll probably get down voted for this since TRP is supposed to be amoral, but you made a commitment to your wife and you should honor it.

I disagree that subverting gender roles has been "successful" for women. In general, I don't think that more casual sex, putting off marriage, and being more career-oriented than family-oriented have made women happier. Similarly, I don't think subverting male gender roles would make men happy.

It sounds like you might be more of a beginner so you'd probably benefit more from a different program anyway. I'd try to find a workout partner before you pay for a trainer. But if you do get a trainer, I'd suggest getting him to show you how to do a program like 5x5 so you can learn to do it on your own

Did you download the excel sheet? After you put in your maxes and the day you want to start, it does literally tell you what to do every day. It does give you some leeway with optional exercises, but you don't even have to do those if you don't want to. If you're having trouble figuring out how to read the spreadsheet feel free to ask questions.

You're right. But actually now that I think about it I didn't bench 315 until a few weeks later; I only got 305 right at the end of this program

I'm 6'3 and 220 lbs. I'd estimate that my body fat percentage is between 12-15%, but I've never had it tested.

My 1 rep maxes are: Bench: currently about 305, pr is 315 Squat: currently about 425, pr is 450 Military press: not sure, I'd estimate around 205 Deadlift: haven't maxed in a while, I'd estimate about 425 Hang clean: haven't done Olympic lifts in quite some time, but my pr on power cleans is 265 (held back by bad form) I didnt lift much last semester so I lost some strength and I'm still trying to get back to where I was at the end of the summer.

My point is TO WHOM, and WHEN? To the majority of men seeking a LTR, and at any time. Sure, you'll be more desirable at 31 to a 'beta', and you'll also be more desirable at 25 to an 'alpha'. Why exactly did you start this post? Regardless, I think I answered the question you posed.

In my experience, it's true that men looking for relationships are very rare. I don't disagree. So, women should refrain from having sex when they want with who they want on the off chance a decent guy will 'come along' eventually? If you want to hook up with a lot of people, nobody's stopping you; I think we've already established that's what most people do. My point is that if you refrain from casual sex, you will be more desirable for a long-term relationship. I would actually say the same fo…

As a college student at a large public university, I agree that most men these days aren't looking for a relationship. It's also incredibly difficult to find attractive women who guard their sexuality. It's simply just how our culture is these days. But high value men who are looking for a relationship do exist; I have several friends that fit this description and are in LTR's with equally attractive women. None of their girlfriends had sex with them before commitment. Before I met my girlfriend…

I agree with everyone saying you should go no contact, but not indefinitely. If you'll run into her again without setting anything up then just don't contact her until then. But otherwise, I'd wait about a week and then text her to set up a time to hang out. Don't mention the party unless she brings it up. No contact is good but you do have to contact her eventually if she's not contacting you first and you want to plate her. If she doesn't answer or says she can't hang out, then you can forget …

HIIT will not come close to increasing your muscle mass as much as lifting will. If your goal is to be more sexually attractive and you have to pick one, lifting is definitely the better option.

That's not beta behavior, that's just being a good conversationalist
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/15 04:26 AM

There's a difference between not being able to have an honest conversation and having sex withheld. "Leave the marriage", in my opinion, is bad advice; this is often a problem that can be fixed with a little effort. You can call it whatever you want, but I don't think it's manipulative to stop giving your wife as much affection when she's not giving you any back. And it's easy to dismiss something as "common sense", but it may not be as obvious a solution to everyone else.

Actually, the "women are children" thing doesn't appear in any of the introductory posts on the "New Here?" list on the sidebar, but you do bring up an interesting point. Posters in TRP often use hyperbole to get their message across- for example, comparing women to children. The purpose of this is not to argue that women don't have or shouldn't have agency. The purpose is to illustrate that as a man, your relationships will be more successful if you take a leadership role. You can, and should, …

Guys can also find you "objectively physically 'attractive' and still not be attracted" to you. However, their feelings are most likely stronger than this in the situation you are describing, and not thinking anything bad about them as a person really doesn't have much to do with it. When someone has strong feelings for you and you don't reciprocate them, it is generally a painful experience. The fact that they react negatively to rejection doesn't mean they don't understand attraction.

I think most men who are successful with women learned most of the "RP advice" while growing up. But for those who missed the boat and did not gain enough experience during high school and/or college, it can be extremely difficult to catch up. For most of these men, TRP is really the only place they can expect to be told straight up what they need to do to do to be successful. It offers them specific examples of what to say and how to act. General advice found in other sources tends to assume th…

I'm sure we can all agree that scientific evidence is generally superior to anecdotal evidence, and I wouldn't say the RP is based on scientific evidence. However, I doubt there is much actual scientific data that sheds light on sexual strategy. Anecdotal evidence is the best thing we have to go on. What I find interesting about your post is that it seems to address a different question than most blue pill arguments I've seen. Most blue pillers seem to be arguing that the RP is morally wrong rat…

While this example would be relevant if it provided the specific posts and/or comments this person was banned for, it doesn't tell us much without that information. I'm not going to disagree that there is a certain amount of anger and bitterness in the RP sub. But when it comes to figuring out how to improve one's relationships and attractiveness as a man, there is really no better resource than TRP. In my experience, most men who are successful with women learned all the "RP advice" while growi…

I've read a lot of comment sections over the last year or so and I do agree there are some commenters who actually are bitter and angry. These people tend to be more vocal than others and they do tend to post knee-jerk responses. I can see how someone who expects TRP to be filled with angry misogynists would fall prey to confirmation bias upon seeing these comments. However, I do not agree that these comments are representative of TRP, and I have found them to be in the minority. I think the maj…

Yes, it's true that the knowledge found in TRP can be used to cheat on and/or manipulate women. And I agree there is a certain amount of bitterness that can be easily tuned out if you're not hypersensitive. However, these things don't make TRP bad or wrong. Teaching people organic chemistry could enable them to cook meth; does that mean we should withhold the knowledge from them when it can just as easily be put to good use? The knowledge found in TRP can be used to have a happy, stable LTR or m…

TRP is a place where men discuss how they themselves, rather than women, are responsible for their own success with women or lack thereof. The point of TRP is to give men the knowledge they need to increase their success. Would you really call introspection a knee-jerk reaction? In your comments, you offer a rather sarcastic response to something you find offensive when it is clear you haven't taken the time to fully understand it. That fits the definition of a "knee-jerk response" perfectly.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/15 12:26 AM

Actually, your comment comes off as exactly the type of knee-jerk emotional reaction this post is talking about. The fact that this comment got so many upvotes makes me more inclined to agree with OP.

You make a good point, but I doubt many women would give a straight answer if asked "How do I get her to fuck me". It seems to me that most would be offended. Even if a guy asks for your advice because he genuinely sees a future with some girl, the second example is not necessarily good advice. He is going to need to do a combo of the two examples regardless of whether she is initially attracted to him. Leaving out "Red Pill" advice entirely will only set him up for failure. I know from experien…

I haven't posted much before, but if I was you, I would taken the opportunity to invite her over to bang or at least set something up for later if you didn't feel like it right then. Also, I would try to positively reinforce her behavior when she does things like sending you pictures of her tits.

No matter how good you are at something, there is always someone who's better than you. This is a fact of life. Don't worry so much about everyone else. You don't need to be the perfect male specimen, you just need to focus on becoming the best man you can be. Lift weights, eat right, build your social circle, and work on your game. Then instead of being insecure about your shortcomings, you can start to be proud what you've accomplished so far and continue to improve yourself.

I think the most important thing you can do to prevent cheating, besides maximizing your SMV, is picking the right girl. There's been a lot of discussion here on the traits you want to look for in a LTR, such as low partner count, conservative upbringing, etc. Girls with those traits are less likely to cheat.

It's not necessarily a shit test, but if you start begging her to tell you that's not going to help your frame. If she says she can't tell you, just act like you don't care.

Like others have said, you're years away from actually "hitting the wall". Not sure what meds you're on, but I've heard things like Prozac can cause weight gain. Besides that, the single most important factor in controlling your weight is caloric intake; I'd suggest taking a look at https://www.eatthismuch.com/

I feel your pain. I'm also a college student, and the only way I've been able to solve this problem is by dating Catholic girls I've met through my church on campus (I'm Catholic myself). In my experience, there are very few attractive (8+) college girls that are looking for a relationship.
