You do need advice. Lesson: don’t date guys that encourage selling yourself.

When you play on the internet, you become a part of plenty of fish. When you on the battlefields like us, you become a part of plenty of babes. Ya dig? When my bros are talking about being on OkCupid I say, "That's cool, dawg, I'm on SexyCupid. Because I'm on da battlefields."

In fact at one point she said, 'so this is definitely the first time you've ever done this right' and she was definitely laughing at me (she was trying to hide it but it was obvious). Should have just been honest. "Aww you got me. I should have told you. It is actually. I'll make it a fun time though." Boom, you'd been golden. She probably would have kept going. If she'd have given you hell or laughed at that, then she can screw off. I'd just relax. It sucks now, but some day you'll look back an…

Agree with all of the advice. It's a good tool if used right. I've had a lot of success on there.

Oh, wow. My bad. Downvoted my comment to acknowledge my ignorance. Ah, I see. Yeah, I just didn't agree at all with the article. It's nobodies responsibility to make one better off, in my opinion. I don't think anybody should hurt anyone, but that's different. It was just an irrelevant and misconstrued argument that he made.

Who says he always runs away. He might keep conversing and provide value and such through there. He's not doing it for validation, he's doing it as a gesture of good will. I don't like the second part of not telling the girl he's not picking them up, but he'll get better. If he's going up to five women like this, he'll get good fast.

Exactly my style. Maybe as I develop more I won't need to do the, "have you been waiting long" ice breaker. But it's a good way to make yourself comfortable. If I don't grow out of it, who cares, it works. hah

How could they though? How much experience do they having picking up a woman? None. Just as I have no experience in getting the hot stud at work's attention. Even advice from lesbians wouldn't work really. They're a girl picking up a girl that's attracted to women. I'm a guy picking up women that's attracted to men, and men and women are different. So inevitably, that's not the same either. We all buy into marketing tactics. We might think we have complete control over what we buy, but sure enou…

I'm 24 and lost it not long ago and we both had a great time, she got off. No problems. I did it with somebody much older and was into it. So we had fun with it. It was nice to have it in the open and not have the girl bitch and tell her friends about something so trivial, because it is. It doesn't take long to get accustomed. Just communicate. I know I was far more interested in satisfying her. Did I have the stress and anxiety that you have? Yeah. Am I still a little bitter...yeah. It pisses m…

Our tastes all differ. I go nuts over intelligent women with senses of humor. I'm not picky on looks. Lots of guys in here have different values, as does all guys. The best I can say is be the best you can be. That's really what everyone in here is trying to do. Also figuring out ways that make you happy. Seems like everything kinda falls into place. I don't think as many women get approached as people think.

Look forward to see what comes up. I used to work at a phone center for about a year. It got easier than talking in real life for me. What you can do is call around to random people just before calling the girl, that way you'll not have the jitters.

I'd like to see more community challenges if anyone can come with something witty and fun. I remember months ago on here I know somebody made an Excel spreadsheet on a public Google doc, and the goal was to get a number for a week straight and discuss about it and the HB rating of the girl. It was neat. The only drawback was some jackass erased a bunch of the data. Maybe a password is possible. OT: Whatever happened to the Seddit Podcast that was in the talks by some of the members? Good book, but way too much for 30 days. Some of that days require constant repetition. I'd be blown away if anybody actually completed the assignments as ordered in that time. If anybody did, they deserve a medal. I actually bought that on accident over the original. I'd love to read the actual novel.

Older women are great. Much more straightforward. I'm the same way. They're more mature on average, and that's my strength at attracting. Same struggle, but not a bad problem to have by no means.

Why don't you just talk to him about it? Why in the heck would he get creeped out? It doesn't work that way with most guys. If he doesn't want to, he'll just say no. Who cares. It shouldn't ruin your friendship. If he's a 9/10, he wouldn't have gone 6 years. There's something severely wrong with him if that's the case. I'm just kind of skeptical.

Like I said, we've all been there. Failure is learning. I was worse than you were in high school. Yeah, she wanted you to take the lead and to at least kiss her, and go much further from there. There's plenty of good reads to help you with that. Such as starting with kino, and progressing into the proper mood. It's very important, and it cost you this relationship, so learn it. The necklace was too much. Flowers and taking her to prom and dates were more than enough to make it I guess special. T…

I agree. I was hoping that'd be your opinion haha. Randomly came to mind after reading it. Good advice. Also gives an idea whether they're busy or in the mood to talk. I consider it high risk, high reward, so that helps the bets. Thanks.

She did want a relationship, but you didn't provide enough fun and excitement. No sexual context. How many times did you even kiss her? It sounds like you were afraid to go there. The necklace was probably too soon as well. I think you smothered her with too much romanticizing too soon. I'm not trying to be hard on you, we've all been there. She was very interested at one time; she's not now. Improve yourself, figure out how to go about it next time, and find another girl. Read through this subr…

I got a question on texting, or at least seeking opinion(s): Say you meet this girl and you hit it off really well with her, and you get the number. Day or so goes by and you've been following the advice, etc etc. You now want to set up another day to meet again: are you okay with calling instead, even if you've only met once? Or should you always just keep it simple in text format? I feel like calling would be confident, but at the same time I'm concerned it might make a girl uncomfortable. tl;…

You can do much better on the site. I haven't used it in a while, and don't mean anything by this, but I got responses and numbers from about half. It's better to read the profile, and come up with something original and witty. You'll also likely get better dates that will likely flake less. I'd choose option 1. If friends saw it online, I'd explain the situation that I only had two choices, I had to do one of them. Once I explain that I had no choice but to do so, then it's not so bad. I bailed too early the other day. Went up to a random girl on her laptop for directions. Had great rapport with the girl and just left without her name and number. Stupid move in my part. I'd not really try night game unless you really just wanted to go out Really, that's why I am. I've always wanted to. Was just too intimidated and socially awkward to try it. I'm doing it to have fun, with pick up in the process, because I think it's fun. 2/5 is what I think I should/could have had. My sexual history is pretty minimal. Just mess ups in my part. Those 5 dates are the only in my lifespan too. Not an excuse, but I learned from them. I've grown drastically since December.

None... I always miss the opportunity. I've walked a girl back to her place and only kissed her. I think I awkwardly missed the cue to go further. I immediately left after I did so. I'm still opening up to the mindset that women actually do want sex. I've been putting it on a pedestal; I accept that it's one of my flaws and need to stop it. I think night game will help with that possibly with alcohol roaming. I don't know. I might try a drink myself.

Yeah, I plan on it. I don't drink alcohol, which is why I never have. I've been doing day game and been doing alright. It'll be interesting to see the differences. I'm still a noob, but no, I don't see me becoming an asshole. If I ever do get frustrated, it's with myself. But that's not common. I just take any mistakes or misses as learning experiences. Did any of you suffer from Social Anxiety or Depression before starting pickup? If so: how has it helped you to overcome them? I want to hear this, as someone that used to be depressed. Seems like pickup is a popular game for those that were really low on themselves at one time.

It's one of those things where once you experience how simple it is, it's not even a thought. I approach women and I don't even realize I'm doing it. It's just second nature. But it's very tough getting over that wall. I don't think there's anything wrong with aiming low early on. Approaching 4's and 5's. I'm not picky personally. One, you're making others that don't get approached often feel good about themselves (which improves them), and two, you learn how beneficial it is to yourself and oth…

I don't know what other opinions will be, but I think it's a great idea. One of the most important things to stimulate on a date is adrenaline. If there's a line to get in like some of the places, it'll give you time to socialize and connect. I don't think it's a childish. Just embrace it as a fun time.

Don't worry about it. That's a huge success. You'll get another one. At least you won't be asking, "what if?" The more confident and optimistic you approach women, the more likely you'll succeed. This is a win.
