It's still not as bad as the English government even if this law gets passed. That's not to say it wouldn't be very bad to pass this law but they will have to try very hard if they want to be as misandrist as the English government.

Yes I don't disagree that it's worth pointing out, I shouldn't have said don't waste your time talking about it actually. What I should have said instead is that it's worth mentioning but I advise putting the most focus on currently existing laws.

No I don't pick and choose with equality, equality either applies to everything or nothing otherwise it isn't equality. Also it is not about defending mens wrongs of "rights" (in the sense of corrects) only about defending equality. I demand bad men don't be treated any worse than bad women.

I personally support free speech, however I think the key as an MRA is to simply use the equality argument for each and every issue, because that is the only argument that is ever needed to be honest. Consistently demanding equality is the only thing an MRA has to do in order to be effective in my opinion. Equality is a very easy demand to unite on. If it becomes illegal to pass a sexist law, and any pre existing sexist law has to be equalised, then you can sit back, and watch things sort themse…

I don't think this law will pass, so I wouldn't bother wasting your time talking about it, ultimately it's your choice but in my opinion I try to focus on currently existing misandrist laws, not supposedly upcoming ones. There are already worse misandrist laws than this that exist now and are in effect now in England. If you waste your time protesting against a law that does not yet exist that is time spent wasted that could have been spent protesting against currently existing legal double stan…

I don't disbelieve these boys claims of abuse, but: https://www.justsecurity.org/76810/gendering-the-boy-child-in-the-context-of-counterterrorism-the-situation-of-boys-in-northeast-syria/ https://www.hrw.org/news/2019/10/08/northeast-syria-boys-men-held-inhumane-conditions I wouldn't call carting children off to prison and locking them in cells without sunlight, "rescuing" children. I reccomend doing a bit of research before refferring to the "SDF" as child rescuers, this is extremely important …

The only thing I can currently think to do is to be aware of the situation and raise awareness to as many people as possible, by sharing these links where relevant, and stating your opinion, which is why I make this post. This is my way of raising awareness. The more people aware the better. By all means write to any relevant authority you can find if you have the time, I can't see how it could do any harm but I doubt it will do much good either if not accompanied by protest and popular public d…

If they threat that then I call their bluff. I won't engage in self censorship, if they want to come and try to censor me for demanding equal rights, I'm waiting then. Looking at the watch what time is it? It's "not going to happen o clock", and if it does, well it'll only draw more attention to what I'm saying then. I demand equal rights, I would like to see government put in prison, I will not be intimidated into silence, by the evil misandrist government.

Men are going to need a lot more than a "shelter" in England before we have equality. A domestic violence shelter is not going to protect men from the misandrist government. The government of England is misandrist, the legal system is misandrist, what we need is equality, and a "shelter" is not even coming close to providing equality. The legal system needs to be completely recreated to fully equalize men and women's rights, I will not be satisfied with anything less than 100% equality and a "sh…

I assume this video is from England's parliament. The government is the root cause of Misandry in this country. They are the ones that implemented misandrist laws and policy, don't expect the government to resolve the problems that it has willfully created. I'm not going to sit through an hour and a half of listening to these politicians but I'm going to make a guess here, my guess is that none of the following issues are challenged or even addressed: government ordered policy that judges are to…

Alright well I'll be open to the possibility that I may have jumped in making assumptions but I'm not sure. I'm still not sure what he is asking to debate here though, and ultimately I think just focusing on complete equal rights and treatment between males and females is all that is necessary for progress, the instant someone starts discussing the "differences" between males and females, I get suspicious as to what their motive is. So I'll draw this conversation to close I think and I'll just l…

I am engaging in good faith but with a firm opinion that will not change depending on what I'm being asked to engage in discussion with. I'm not going to debate wether male and female prisoners should be treated or sentenced differently for example, because my opinion is no and will not change. If he doesn't want to debate that I'm just asking what he does want to debate?

Alright I just skimmed over it, and I'm not getting good vibes from it, because I don't see the point in it. "When does biology matter? And can we debate it?" I'd say biology matters never when it comes to sex or race in combination with law and human rights, only the individual matters. "And can we debate it?" My stance is men and women should be treated 100% equal and my opinion won't change. So if he's asking can we debate men and women being treated differently my answer is not with me becau…

No but I read the comments of people responding to the article and that was sufficient. Someone saying something about males being more aggressive, which is a garbage statement to make if that is what the article says, and is going back to the concept of judging people based on statistical averages of their sex rather than their actions as an individual. I am male and I have not murdered, some men and women have, so as far as I'm concerned men and women who have murdered should be considered mor…

Nope. This is the sort of thinking that leads to ideas such as : "women and men aren't the same, so we need life sentences for men, and rehabilitation for women, we need female prison guards searching male prisoners, and female prisoners who tortured boys to death to be legally protected from being searched by a male guard" and "a woman who tortures a boy to death should be treated differently than a man who tortures a girl to death" and my response is: nope. I don't see any evidence that SNP is trying to implement infanticide law and have male prisoners searched by female guards. In England both of them things are already the law. It's like this, I am not saying SNP is perfect, they could be better but they could also be worse. The English government is worse for example. Whatever bad they have done, as far as I'm concerned labour and conservatives have done worse.

I didn't necessarily say SNP is "good" for mens rights, I just said they're the best party in the "U"K for mens rights. Some of the things that offend me most about English law, for example infanticide law and discriminatory cross gender searches in prison against men, aren't present in the Scottish legal system. That's not to say they are completely perfect, just better than the other political parties. I'm just saying if SNP is competing against conservatives and labour, I'd personally say, we…

Well once again I'll clarify I don't support this specific policy by SNP, gender neutral or not. However the way I see things is this: If country A sentences 100 men and 1 woman to life imprisonment, but country B sentences 1 man and 0 women to life imprisonment, then as far as I'm concerned country A is less sexist than country B even though country A puts 99 additional men in prison for life, on the basis that there is a bigger difference between 99% and a 100% than between 1% and 99% in terms…

Also, this article here appears to state this could apply to rape AND other sex offences if I read that correctly: https://www.scotsman.com/news/crime/judge-led-sexual-offence-trials-risk-undermining-justice-system-in-scotland-solicitors-warn-3816620 So I assume that means judge led trials for female sex offenders also. So the point of the matter is I don't think that's even necessarily a mens rights issue if that applies to both male and female sex offenders. Even if it was just for male offend…

I disagree with SNPs policy here, but I'll say this, Scotland still has better mens rights than England as far as I'm concerned and I'd still vote SNP over labour or conservatives if I had the choice. (I'm English in England for context, so I can't vote SNP anyway.) Also your claim of "they've closed all womens prisons" evidence where? That's a bold statement to not back up with evidence. *England, not Britain. Scotland is not misandrist as far as I'm concerned and it doesn't deserve to be given a bad name just because it's next door to England. As far as I'm concerned Scotland is one of the best countries on earth for human rights including mens rights. I will tell you what to say to win this debate in my opinion: First off the claim "Misandry doesn't exist" is very easy to debunk. However in my opinion it's important to first put trivial (in my opinion) Misandry and important Misandry, in two different categories. Trivial Misandry (in my opinion): a man or woman, making a social media post that makes a sexist statement against men. In my opinion, I do not care what people say, laws and policy could torture, imprison and kill me, but words on t…

This sort of thing makes my stomach turn if this is an article from England. In England, women who torture children including boys (which I only bring the gender of the child up because of the context of legal discrimination) to death, are exempt from being searched by a male prison guard, but men are not exempt from being searched by a female prison guard. (Because the dictatorial misandrist child torturer sympathising government says so, without democratic vote on the issue) I won't criticise …

Russia? That country where only men can get life sentences? As far as I'm concerned there is no country that is more misandrist than Russia, but there are some that are as misandrist. Scotland is what I'd class as a good country for mens rights. England in comparison, is not. Conservative governments in my opinion are usually even more misandrist than left wing governments.

Based on the dictionary definition of the word equality, womens equality movement = mens equality movement. You can't have one sided equality, that's like having wet dry. In order for the dictionary definition of equality to be accurate, men's equality movement and women's equality movement is the same thing. To simplify it, you could just call it the gender equality movement, because that actually makes sense. Is like this: I don't really care what label a person gives themselves, all I care ab…

I'm definitely not a fan of burr. However, I don't care if someone labels themselves as a feminist or not, all I care about is, does the individual actually support equality or not? Anyone who supports actual equal rights, power, responsibility and punishment, wether they label themselves as an anti feminist, a feminist, or neither, I consider an ally. I'm not saying there isn't room for improvement with Scottish law. However, it is still far better than English law. For example, England has infanticide law, Scotland does not appear to have infanticide law. You should use the word England in my opinion, Scotland is nowhere near as bad as England and doesn't deserve to be put in the same category as England as far as I'm concerned. Absolutely disgusting, pure evil. Baby killer sympathiser law. We live in a country where the job of the police is to defend the freedom of baby killers. How many years of school did this evil judge go through, to learn how to be a baby killer sympathiser? How much does he get paid to be a baby killer sympathiser? That's not correct. Men are less free than women in Russia, because you can't be less free than a person who has been sentenced to life in prison, and only putting men to death in Belarus is also very disrespectful to men. I don't think there has every been a country in history that has only sentenced women to life imprisonment or to death. When it comes to Guantanamo bay if you read my other comment you'll see what I'm talking about. I want the right to not be sentenced by a judge who has been ordered to discriminate against me because I am male. Don't expect politicians to legitimately help mens rights, the government is what implemented misandrist policy in the first place and the only thing that stands a chance of changing the misandrist system is a democratic vote for or against a…

I do not advocate pedophilia or other sex offenses, but it seems that pedophiles (and sex offenders in general) receive a disproportionate amount of hate from some people, for example you have groups that identify as "pedophile hunters" that seem to obsessively and loudly direct hate towards pedophiles, but what about children who have been abused in non sexual ways? Such as murder and torture? If these groups care so much about protecting children, then why do they disproportionately hate the p…

Men of all races deal with the same misandrist double standards implemented by the government. Males in England of all races are forcibly searched by female prison guards in prison, no female prisoner is legally searched by a male prison guard, even the ones who torture children to death. https://www.saunders.co.uk/news/strip-searching-women-in-prison/ https://ukhumanrightsblog.com/2013/04/04/policy-allowing-cross-gender-searches-in-prisons-not-unlawful-says-high-court/ Non white males are still…

It wouldn't be hard if they were trying to implement equality, but clearly these people are interested in implementing misandry, so equality may as well be on the moon because it's far away from wherever these people are in charge.

So where is the non mainstream allegedly non misandrist right then?

I'd like to hear what "the PM" has to say about infanticide law and discrimination between male and female prisoners rights. This man is a disgrace for many reasons. If the citizen had the right to vote withdrawal I'm pretty sure he would have been removed from authority long ago, I'm pretty sure the majority would have voted to have him put in prison if given the right to vote for that. I'm pleased with myself for not voting conservative in the first place.

London is in England, but regardless, ask 100% of Londoners and I'm pretty sure you'd get the same results.

Both parties have misandrists and human rights abusers that belong in prison anyway so it doesn't really matter who passed it. The point is I'm more than 50% sure that if 100% of the population of England were asked to vote yes or no on this policy, that more than 50% of them would vote no, especially if it was made clear that only males could be found guilty of it.

Once again, another policy that the public didn't vote for.

The root of the problem is misandrist dictatorship. The public didn't ask for this, the government implemented this without asking the public vote on the policy many years ago. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1311004/Judges-ordered-mercy-women-criminals-deciding-sentences.html

Yes I do understand. I also understand that extending that to women is not going to help mens rights, unlike draft abolition for everyone, which would help everyone.

What doesn't it have to do with it? The USA military and its allies discriminate against male prisoners of war, how is drafting women into an organisation that abuses male prisoners of war in a discriminatory manner going to help mens rights or equality? It isn't.

It isn't better than nothing. The only thing that is better than nothing is 100% equal rights, and draft equalisation alone will not even come close to achieving that, and it will not improve mens rights at all on its own. Will the burden also be shared equally between male and female prisoners of war held by the military? Not under the current rules, so it isn't equality, until it is equality. It isn't a shared burden unless it's 100% shared equal rules / rights applied to male and female troop…

Never going to abolish it says who? Says you? Draft equalisation will achieve nothing for mens rights on it's own, without equalisation of male and female prisoner of war rights also at the same time.

Are you going to call for them to equalise treatment of prisoners of war also? Because failing that you are not calling for equality. For example: https://ihl-databases.icrc.org/customary-ihl/eng/docindex/v2_rul_rule119 Go to the usa section, it says female prisoners of war must be searched by a female. Meaning a male troop is not even allowed to lay his hand on a female prisoner of war, to draw a comparison: https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/guantnamo-bay-female-interrogators-tactics-ai…

Abolishing the draft will help mens rights, expanding it to include women will not. Draft is not the only rights violation done against males by the USA military and its allies, there is also Guantanamo bay and discriminatory inhumane imprisonment of males including children in Syria.

Government of England are misandrist dictators who pass misandrist policy without asking the public to vote on it. I am confident that misandrist policies would not survive democratic vote.

Conservatives have produced misandrist policy for a long time. Republicans introduced Guantanamo bay which is probably the most misandrist thing that the USA has ever done. Some people get stressed and stop thinking clearly so they start calling themselves a republican. For example, in the past, I used to call myself left wing, but misandry on the left caused me to start calling myself right wing solely on the basis of attempting to distance myself from misandry and anti gun rights policy, but a…

It is a psychological attack against males and another one of the growing number of reasons why the people currently in power in this country belong in prison. As you pointed out, it is obvious discrimination, the government is not dumb, they know it is discrimination, the solution is not to beg the government to stop being misandrists, the solution is a new government, and the old government goes to prison for abuse of power. Democracy can make this happen as long as democracy does not give up.…

I would advise saying "some people don't care" rather than "people don't care". Clearly some people do care otherwise this discussion would not be taking place.

In my experience I would say no but I could be wrong, it's mainly the politicians in my opinion. England is a country of misplaced authority, and the majority of the public in most countries in my opinion have a tendency to be sheep and just do as they are told without questioning authority, this is a problem with human nature in general. I have spoken face to face with a number of men and women about my men's rights stances in England and I've yet to have anyone disagree with me in person, alth…
