Thank you! Glad I'm not alone in thinking that.

That's the thing I read about him that caused me to really dislike him. Like his first wife wanted marriage counselling, he just wanted someone there to give the illusion that he's not alone. No clue what Grimes sees in him.

I agree, but a lot people here look up to them as the "ultimate" HV couple. So I wanted to see how that worked with such a lazy proposal.

Prince Harry proposed to Megan Markle while she was in the kitchen cooking chicken or something 😅 curious to know all your thoughts on that?

Leaving someone you love who suffers with mental illness and leaving someone you love who refused to get help for their mental illness are two completely different things.

Am I literally missing something here?? Did she not pay the full bill the first 2 times? So why now that she expects him to do the same is it a problem? Does he expect her to pay for all of the bills? Then he has a nerve to igno her texts and attempts at contact, because it was his turn to pay the bill??? 😄 Trash. Oh lol I realise I read it wrong, but still trash. He just ghosted her instead of talking to her about it. I guess communication isn't a thing anymore.

It's really hard during this pandemic though, with everything closing, so fewer opportunities to be social. Like the current climate is definitely working against me so I don't know what I'm gonna do, but I guess I should put more focus into this.

Just realise that you don't need to be wanted by that type of person in the first place, like count yourself lucky. That's how I perceive it.

Wow its funny you are all posting vision boards, because this is something I decided to do (5 year plan vision board) a few weeks ago. And now it seems like a hot topic here. It really helps though. Like I actively make decisions now that will bring me in the direction of making my vision board come true. It really helps.

Honestly, is it even worth going through all of this when a guy is going to talk over you anyway? Why try to change their behaviour if they clearly have no manners or respect in the first place. Unless you're really determined to say what you were going to say I guess lol Ah I just realised that this isn't in context of relationships, but with talking to men in general like in the work place or in social situations. In that case this is great advice.

Hey I'm still waiting for my confirmation on the website, I literally signed up the week the website opened but I'm still waiting for verification? Also, will my flair ever change, because I feel like I've been here for a long tim now, I'm by no means even a newbie.

My favourite episode of Daria was when Daria and Jane went to this party, where two guys approached them and asked "where have you been all our lives?". To which Daria sarcastically responded "Waiting for you. We were born in this room, we were raised in this room, and now that you're here our lives can finally begin" or something along those lines 😂😂😂

I accidentally came across the pic after clicking on "Chris Evans" on twitter because I wondered why he was trending. I don't really think it is actually a nude, because 1 it is barely visible for the quality of the photo, and 2 it could be a pic that someone else sent him because it was literally just a screenshot of his gallery.

Same because I don't use SC much at all. And yeah that's true, he hasn't acknowledged the behaviour that lead to this in the first place. That's why I love this sub, you guys get me to think about things I did even consider.

Honestly, I am not going to take him back. I've had enough bad relationships with shitty men in my life to not want a repeat of my past. Though I've read the handbook, I don't need it since everything that's in it I've unfortunately had to learn for myself. You're right that it's probably a moment of weakness. The last thing I said to him before I blocked him was that actions speak louder than words, and I truly believe that. The only way I'd even consider taking him back would be if his actions…

I would usually agree but he lives in Germany and is attractive enough to get sex in a way that wouldn't require him to buy a plane ticket to come and see me. Also he has another ex who he is still friends with, so if he wanted easy sex he has options that don't involve me which is why I'm confused.

My last post about him is here I don't know how to respond to this, or if I should at all? I forgot to block him on snapchat and he ended up sending me this.

Those sound pretty inspirational, Marilyn was quite a good person beyond her beauty from what I've read. And yeah, I can imagine that there is a lot to admire from the personal qualities of war heroes.

Yeah I ended up actually saying : "So don't take this the wrong way, but I'm going to block you, because I feel sad whenever I hear from you, and it throws my motivation off. Wish you the best ❤️ " I don't feel like I could have explained how I feel any more than that without him saying that I'm being negative, as he always tended to when I brought up problems between us in the past. I really hope it sufficed.

That's the part that inspired me to post this here, I just thought... wow. And I kinda feel sad that I have subjected myself to that kind of thinking since I began dating men at 19 - that is thinking that I need to change myself or be a certain way, or that I have to achieve this or that before I am worthy of commitment or love from them. FDS has shown me that in all my years of dating men, there has been a pattern - me jumping through hoops to get commitment or love, all the while they are gett…

Its just amazing to see the shift in my mindset because for the entire time I was with this guy I knew he was treating me badly, and I was basically his toy, but despite that I stayed and when we fought even though he was in the wrong I kept going back and I was the one who apologised because I loved him, and he always knew I'd go back, he'd even wait and time me. Back in September I finally got the courage to cut him off clean, I blocked him and everything. Recently I unblocked him, and he stil…

I have been in and out of toxic relationships with lwm consecutively since I was 19. This year I turn 25 and a few months ago I decided to stop rebounding so that I could end that awful cycle. I just stopped looking for someone else to fill the void left by my last relationship, and after taking some time to reflect on the fact that I had been in so many relationships, and nothing had changed, I realised that if I keep going on like that my life won't change and I will always be unhappy. After b…

Same girl, every single man I've come across in my life has been lv. I am coming to accept that I may die alone lol but I'm fine with that if the alternative is to spend my life with the type of men I've dated in the past. No thank you 🤢

They like the chase/challenge. It's a game for them, once you show interest they've won so they get bored of the "game".

When I was younger, my very first relationship was with a man who was 42. I believed that his age would mean he'd be more mature and committed to wanting a relationship. He was the most immature person I've met in my life... Actually second only to my most recent ex, except he's 23 so has an excuse. And actually that has been my experience every time dating older men, they can be just as bad when it comes to commitment.

Very true. I had a fwb who would still meet me when I was menstruating, to make it seem like our relationship was more than just sex, but in reality when I got there he'd always bring up the fact we could do "other stuff", so he was going to get sexual satisfaction regardless of the state of my body.
