THIS. People don't realize this. If she's showing any inkling of interest to you, there's a 90% chance she'll be receptive to a kiss. I have yet to be turned down for a kiss. Girls are so fucking easy if you actually have the balls to make some moves. And if you have an aura of confidence, you won't even have to try. Women will literally come to you. And in this case, confidence means that you can't half-ass the moves you're making. If youre gonna go in, either either gonna do it with intent and…

I was thinking the same thing when I read this. It's key to smile when you make eye contact, otherwise it looks like you're staring, which women find really creepy.

Even though I realize that it's the most probably scenario, I personally find it hard to believe that I don't actually have free will. It certainly feels like I do. Also, with regards to immortality - "you" are characterized by your consciousness. If someone were to clone you exactly, down to the atom, it would be a copy of you, but they would be a different instance of you. You wouldn't swap places or have both of your consciousnesses merge into one, which sounds a bit silly. That's why your th…

Indeed. Our conscious minds give us the illusion of free will. We feel like we are in control of each and every one of our decisions, but in reality, we probably aren't. That's a pretty scary thought thought to me.

That's true, my experience isn't necessarily generalizable. You mentioned that most people never get out of ruts. What makes you say that?

You make some good points. You could very well take a more pragmatic and methodology-driven approach to dating, but making a science out o it just doesn't sit right with me. Love and attraction are one of the most beautiful things, and making it into a science just dehumanizes it in my opinion. I think we respect women more as actual people and be "gentlemen" about this rather than just treating them as targets or just another trial in a study.

You're right, but honestly, this post was more of a personal outlet for me rather than meant to actually help others. I just hoped my experience with this might be applicable to other people who may be stuck in the same rut.

Honestly, this post was more of a personal outlet for my thoughts, like a rant of sorts. I didn't put much thought into making a bulletproof argument, I just wanted to share my personal experience on this matter. Still though, I appreciate your skepticism. You're right on most points, and I agree with them. I just personally have a strong dislike for the textbook and robotic PUA approach that a lot of people have, because that's what kept me stagnant for a long time, and it took my a while to ju…

Of course there is science in everything. My point is exactly what you said: Newton is right, and there is science in soccer, but soccer players don't use science in trying to get better and in playing well. Soccer players go with their instincts, and they don't try to improve their kick based on the latest kinesiology study on the mechanics of a soccer kick. Instead, they tune their kicking technique based on how it feels. Indeed, there is a remarkable about of data to be collected in sports, a…

Exactly. It's more important to work on yourself first and make yourself into someone desirable, and becoming a more interesting person actually takes work. Interesting people aren't interesting by chance, it's because they actually worked on cultivating their interests and finding and developing their passions so that they can list more than just "watching Netflix" as their hobbies.

This. If the girl is shy, then sometimes, the absence of "no" means "yes". However, that sounds really rape-y, and for good reason. There is a very fine line between being proactive and forcing yourself onto a girl. The reason that sexual assault happens so often is because men usually don't realize when they're doing it, they assume they're just escalating like they've been taught to, and they're to blinded by lust and pride in order to recognize the girl's discomfort. Sad but true.

It depends on the person. It can be useful to differentiate between general personality types and get a general gauge for the person's personality, but its accuracy is a whole other matter. The theory of MBTI hinges on the dichotomy of its components - for example, if you're extroverted, you can't be introverted (and vice versa). This is false. People behave differently depending on the circumstances of the situation, or simply how they're feeling that day. The Humanmetrics version of the MBTI t…

IDK man, ending someone's life is pretty fucked up. He had more money than he can spend anyway, and ending someone's life over something like this is pretty evil in my books. Besides, killing his eternal lover would probably bring him more unhappiness than just giving her a few billion. He's got plenty more where those came from.

Can confirm, Elon is pretty beta. He's a genius business and technology-wise, and he gets shit done, but beyond that, he's pretty awkward in his speech, sometimes makes crude and inappropriate jokes, and laughs with awkward timing. Basically every sign of a genius sperglord that made it because he's smart. Socially though, he's a bit behind, and evidently still has some life lessons to learn.

This is what my mindset has shifted to. Being outcome-independent, and just focusing on having a good time and connected with people. Then, instead of worrying about trivial shit like, "is now the right time to kiss her?", it will all come naturally. That's the way it should be - we were literally biologically engineered to do this.

It's semi-sarcastic. I made it because I thought it's pretty obvious that such a thing would only work in high school, so the analysis isn't necessary. I understand that some people might need that told to them explicitly, it's just that I wouldn't be so quick to discredit Alex. Like it or not, given the setting and the circumstances, he got the job done.

I appreciate this subreddit for preserving masculinity in an increasingly effeminate society, but I feel like every opinion is being categorized into the false dichotomy of "BP vs RP". It's a little simplistic to say, " Oh, this is a little too BP", and, "this is so RP, I love it!" A Man's Man thinks for himself, and does not subscribe to any one way of thinking. He is not a democrat nor a republican. He is himself, and no one else. The only labels he gives himself are his name and his gender. H…

That's a good point. What are the things I should give a fuck about and what are the ones I shouldn't? Sometimes, even the line between those two can become blurred, so I feel like the idea of "not giving a fuck", while in good spirits, is ultimately misplaced, and is of limited use simply by virtue of not being specific enough.

I think it's a minor one. Even though it's not explicitly a shit-test, it's still a question that catches you off-guard.

I told her I think it's the other way round and I wouldn't wanna keep her waiting That was actually really good. It's not cheesy at all, I honestly can't think of a better way to handle that shit-test. Congratulations on your victory though! It really is a testament to how much we can get done if we JUST FUCKING DO IT, Shia LaBoeuf-style. I think you've succeeded in inspiring me, since I am as you were a few days ago: a virgin with no end in sight. Well done, stranger. Well-fucking-done.

There is a fine line between not giving a fuck about what others think of you and giving so little fucks that you end up doing and saying completely stupid and silly shit and look like a moron in front of your friends, even if it amuses you? How do I tread this line without falling victim to the latter? How can I know the difference between being shameless and being a complete idiot?

Alpha males are kind and noble. Not nice, because that implies that they are agreeable and please others, but kind. They're not a douche. An alpha male will show his dominance not by putting other people down, but by bringing other people up. People want to be around him for that reason. He protects the weak.

How do I apply Seddit to high school? Obviously, I can't approach girls at a bar nor take them home, so my options are limited. Which parts of the game would be the same and which would be different? How would high school seduction differ from the college seduction discussed here?

You must have had a pretty bad hangover when you wrote this. Some things in your story don't make sense, and it's hard to follow, to be honest. For instance, you mentioned that the 7 and 9.5 don't speak English, but you were conversing with the 9.5 later, in line for the bathroom? The language thing confused me, but it's a great FR nonetheless. Keep them coming!

My IQ is actually in the 99.8th percentile, so I often find it hard not to go rambling on about intelligent topics. That's kind of my concern, because I just don't know if I should hide it or show it. However, judging from the responses I'm getting, I'm thinking "fuck it, lets just make a speech on quantum mechanics and hope chicks start flocking to me".

Turns out you're in luck. I'm a computer science guy as well! I've always loved programming, and right now I'm doing some development work for a Minecraft server. However, I'm a well-rounded guy, so I like to talk about other things like stars or the singularity!
