Similar to anything else in this world, moderation is key. If you are able to self deprecate in a way that is playful, you'll be okay. In my opinion, if you are able to moderate this humour it shows that you are comfortable with who you are not insecure. On the one end of the spectrum, if you hide your flaws, it may come across as insecure. Conversely, if you show too much, it becomes less of a joke. You are who you are and that makes you unique and the greatest person on the surface of this Ear…

I see your point about the risk of being judged, but doesn't that mean that women are excluded from the concept of being comfortable with who they are? From what I gather from reading r/seduction, women are attracted to men who are confident and are comfortable with themselves, however, you mention that women make decisions based on what will prevent them from ruining their reputation. It is kind of one sided, don't you think? Men have to express their confidence and "don't care" attitude riskin…

I would almost definitely respond with something along the lines of, "I don't think about myself all that often. What do you think?" Thanks for the insight. Instead of being blunt, I probably should have danced around her question to get her opinion. You want to make sure that they will bend in your direction before you start revealing your views and opinions. This is something that I struggle with. Not because I am a self centred jerk, but because I always make it about her. Whenever I am with …

You are being judgmental and negative. Yes I am being judgmental, but is that such a bad thing to do? The act of judging is something that everyone deals with on a regular basis. From one's academic life, one's career and one's relationships, we are being judged and we are judging others. Judging allows those who are making a choice to better analyze the situation in order to make a decision that will benefit themselves (or organization) to ensure the most positive and efficient outcome is achie…

I can see how no one truly knows what sway and class really is, but which of the two terms is the poor choice to describe yourself?

I see your sarcastic tone and yeah you're right sometimes decent people do stupid things and possibly the alcohol got the best of the bf and he was only kidding around. I guess at this time I have only heard her side of the story and she might be over exaggerating the severity of the situation. Then again, her tone and facial expression give off a genuine concern.

Ohhhhhh hell yeah. Just sharing what a friend mentioned to me recently. She reached out to me and mentioned that she's thinking of leaving her bf after a drinking incident where he became verbally abusive towards her. I'm listening to her pour her heart out and I'm thinking to myself, what the fuck?! There shouldn't be any thinking about it, and that friend should just leave the guy. Then again, love and emotions can cloud people's judgement.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
