I love seeing men come out on top and finding someone better. I've had this thought in back of my mind, "what if she wants to come back, would I go back to that life" but like you and every other man, we want a women who cares of our basic needs yearns to have them taken care of. Who should have to beg for affection and small shit, not me anymore.

She also lacked empathy, cares more how she looks to the world than actually being a good person, I felt that if I wasn't supplying her with something I got no love in return. I'm learning what a narcissist is but these all seemed like strong signs

Nothing has been decided, I simply want to know other people's experiences with this. We are currently at the no contact phase, and I only reach out to my son

Why is it that we always assume there's somebody else

Curious as to why you say this, I'm currently separated and was planning to send my stb ex wife money every month for my son. Maybe 300 $400

Nothing, just said she is not perfect after I've acknowledged all my flaws

She didn't bring anything up and didn't want to even talk about it. I'm the one who brought it up and asked her questions.

Seek marriage counseling immediately, don't ignore it. I am currently going through a separation/divorce and dangerously wish i noticed the signs earlier to work on things before she decided to call quits. She won't even consider counseling now. Act now, find a therapist, and work these problems out if you want this to work before it's too late

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
