My ex was untreated BPD and was emotionally abusive for years. She claimed all of her exes were evil, toxic abusers.

Yeah. Didn’t you all know sports, hiking, and travel are illegal for women?

Their statements aren’t even self-consistent: If they’re saying “men are generally very garbage, and most of them are like this always,” it doesn’t make sense to follow up with “telling other men to hold men accountable.” If all men were like this, they’d have no reason to think any of their behavior was wrong or want other men to change their behavior. It’s quite silly and ill-thought-out.

It sounds like the man is comparing cleaning with sex, no? Given the “snort laugh.”

I’m not sure how this is misandry

I see. Well, we’ll have to agree to disagree on your point, then. I don’t believe any atrocities committed by a person deserve literal torture or stooping to their level. This makes us as bad as them. Kill if you must, if it is deemed the person cannot be rehabilitated or is too dangerous to be kept alive, but cruelty should not be part of the punishment.

Can you demonstrate karma? I don’t believe it exists in the Buddhist sense of the word.

So one ill deserves another? Is it ok people get raped in prison? Does one bad act justify an actual crime? I’m not saying there shouldn’t be accountability. If they’re married, this is grounds for divorce, and losing your property in a courtroom is pretty devastating to many people. If not, we’ll, you’ve escaped and he’s lost a partner. Hopefully he’ll learn. If not, that’s on him. Ever hear of being the bigger person?

Apologies. I was too hasty in commenting.

I swear the mentally ill and hateful people online are given way too much attention, and it’s harming society.

Absolutely. Sexist roles for men are so normalized, they aren’t even seen as societal constructs.

It’s like they’re willfully misinterpreting reality and trying to gaslight us.

Couldn’t agree more.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
