not prevalent!? It's fucking everywhere

It’s like they’re willfully misinterpreting reality and trying to gaslight us.

As the saying goes : "when everyone is x, no one is x".

We live in a society where pretty much everyone is either deliberately misandrist or is a carrier of internalised-misandry. So to them misandry IS the normal and when we try and point it out, to them it seems like just how things are and you're the one who is problematic for questioning the normal.

Both are wrong in this argument both misandry and reverse racism(whichbi literally just normal racism) exist

Yeah, I’d reply in agreement that reverse racism doesn’t exist because it’s just racism

"Reverse Racism" also implies that there are only two races, which is in and of itself racist.

Couldn’t agree more.

Well, reverse racism does not exist. There is no such thing as "reverse" racism. There is racism, and that's about all.

How can anyone say that the hatred of men doesn't exist? The irony is that the people who say that are the same people who proudly proclaim that they hate men.

I think people have forgotten the meaning of words. Because of the over/misuse of the term 'misogyny', there is this presumption that misogyny, and therefore misandry must be defined as systematic discrimination against a respective gender. The thing is, the systematic discrimination aspect was already covered by the term 'sexism', and misogyny/misandry specifically described the hatred of the respective gender. This is true even if you don't subscribe to the idea of systematic discrimination. "Misogyny" was just more impactful a term so became a substitute and eventually a replacement for "sexism", leading to it eventually losing its meaning and having people confused as to what it actually means and what sexism means.

Hatred can and will lead to discrimination, but hatred isn't discrimination itself, hence the requirement for terms to describe both. Misandry exists. Misogyny exists. Sexism exists. Reverse racism doesn't make sense

Not prevalent? Literally every piece of mainstream media is absolutely filled with it. I don’t think I have ever watched a tv show or movie without some sort of misandry within 5-10 minutes

Absolutely. Sexist roles for men are so normalized, they aren’t even seen as societal constructs.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
