Why was it removed??? it was a great post!

I definitely recommend doing something, nothing is not a solution. Keeping doing what you did today, question your thoughts and more importantly, question your systems of belief and validation. What makes you a "good" or "bad" person? By what standard do you determine one way or the other? Are those your own choice of factors by which to judge yourself honestly or were those values assigned by some person, group, etc.? It takes a lot of effort and will to do what you did, to question why you bel…

What I can tell you is that above all, you need to be content in your own self. You should ask yourself why you feel inadequate when you don't have a girl around? Is there something you know you should be doing other than chasing girls? Are the girls simply a cover for something deeper? If so, for what? Is there another way of achieving fulfillment that does not depend on whether or not women are flocking to you? Realize that if you can't be honest & vulnerable with yourself, who you are and wha…

That's great, keep at it and maintain the frame/mindset but remember the goal is to do everything you want to do, if you want to take the girl home, escalate, let it be known what you want, and if it's a no, keep having fun, there might be other opportunities elsewhere on the dance floor, etc.
/r/askTRP27/02/18 04:51 PM

Go there or wherever else you believe you'll have a good time but don't go there to have a fun time with a cutie. Go to have fun, even if that is solely by yourself or other people who aren't cuties. Just be content in yourself first, then whatever else may happen is a bonus.

As soon as you start hitting it off with one girl, stop yourself and start talking to another, with discretion of course. You will build abundance for yourself by doing so and you won't become emotionally invested in any one girl. Source: lifetime of become overly invested.

Also, just to note that progression is not linear, you do what you can when you can how you can. Always seek to do more, find the time, space, energy, its there inside you, just don't give yourself excuses and move forward. Its amazing how easy it is to lose oneself in the world and to forget that despite all the pleasant and hopeful feelings, no one will ever look out for you as well as you can. Any other loss, a leg, an arm, a dollar, a wife, these are all surely noticed, but the self is lost …

The same book can have vastly different meanings to different people, or even to the same person at different points in life. Perspective is important. Read a lot of sidebar. Apply. Then re-read
/r/askTRP23/02/18 11:17 PM

Aside from everything else that regulars on TRP will tell you and what is on the sidebar (begin reading and re-read often), realize that it won't be easy, especially not at the beginning of your metamorphosis. It will be difficult, and arduous, and you will be shaken to your core. Nothing worth having is easy. Cut the video games and start lifting, which is a real-life leveling up process. As you progress, so will your mission.

There is a line in a Jack Johnson song I used to listen to, not that I recommend it now given how passivity inducing most music is, that said something along the lines of, "finding yourself somewhere in between where you are now and where you want to be." In essence, start out small and work day in and out on that goal/hobby you like. Before you know it, it will be a part of you. I.e., you don't wait until your first rock show to learn to play the guitar. Same with anything else.

Yea and do not wait for motivation. Motivation like the air is fleeting, you can't grab hold of it, and it can slip right through your fingers. Discipline, once cultivated, is not easily lost. Though I'll admit, sometimes motivation may come from an unexpected source and do wonders ON TOP of discipline.

As it should be, meditation is a tool like anything else. Turning it into a vice lies solely with the user and not the method/activity itself. For someone who is actualized to a certain extent and has a few mins a day, go for it. If you just got of some MMORPG and are sipping Mt. Dew before "meditating" for a few minutes before jumping in some other ridiculous bullshit, yeah masturbation. Edit: Edgy Tyler Durden missed the mark.

If you really want to master, you'll be in the gym for a 6 day PPL routine but by what you said, I imagine you are fairly content with your own physique. Either give yourself one/two day spot-specific days or do the 6 day PPL if you have the energy/time/etc., or do whatever, stay active, run, do stadiums, do yoga. It's all a matter of choice. Choose what you want.

Others will never be able to get you where you need to be. Learn to listen to the "I" within. Seek advice like you've done here, don't misunderstand me. But do realize that what you are asking for is the "I" that knows and guides. Develop your intuition and sense of self. Reading the sidebar & lifting are good places to start. Not because they will grant you all the powers of he-man but because only through consistent self-reliance, you will find your "I" and learn to listen. Travel well strange…

I've sat through legal Family Law classes at a local law school and I can tell you most the women, including the professor, know the game and they actively laugh about it, especially when property law get thrown into the mix. Maybe like 6 or 7 guys but the women don't care, the legal system is rigged in their favor and at least some portion of them know it.

This is good, a too many people on TRP give me shit whenever I mention that logical-emotional learning is a thing (placing myself in a mindset that by its nature causes certain emotions to arise, like confidence, abundance, etc.) Straight logical thinking is good but doesn't leave the kind of impact that causes true change. That why painful lessons are always the most impactful in our lives.

So you're saying that the collective women's movements, like the equality movement/suffrage/feminism, etc., were/are a collective liberalization of their psyche. We, the men, are now doing the same in some manner yet to be defined (TRP, MGTOW, etc, all incomplete roads toward that same goal). Sounds like the ancient battle of the sexes but now in the cosmopolitan jungle of modern life.

I agree but no, not by reciting but by internalizing the strength of character it takes to convey such statements fearlessly, divorced from the consequences while having fun. I won't be repeating anything you say specifically because each situation requires authentic creativity in the spur of the moment like you said. I agree but have to add that, at least in my cases, deeply considering such phrases allows me to inch closer to the mindset of strong frame, like a trail of clues leading to an eventual point of understanding. By putting myself as closely as possible into the shoes/mind of a strong frame mindset, it is easier to bridge the gap. At the end of the day though, yes, frame development is the best sure fire way to naturally lead and prosper.

That was a great podcast. It really hit on some nails I and other probably don't see or recognize. And even then, to bear it all with no fear is so frightening but I've begun accepting that being vulnerable is the means to truly growing.

Your last paragraph is true in that I've seen it. TRP reminds me of a quote I saw where it stated "success is not owned but leased, and the check is due every single day." Random but it gets the point across. Thank you for sharing your story, ill do my best to keep in mind those lessons.

The indoctrination process is deep and subtle, hence why so many people struggle with it, I imagine only a fraction ever really discovering that there is an issue in their life, and with even fewer actually putting forth the proper will, energy, drive, vision, etc., to ever really solve the problem. Its a process of accepting truths and integrating.

And, at least from my case, she seems really intent on not causing any hurt feelings. She just wanted the validation. That's it, and now that she's got it, she wants out without giving anything. I agree about it being toxic, but I can't escape it for a period of a few months. One person said do monk mode, got up at 5am to go lift/gym, and another said 10% rule which I've tried but, we have assigned seats next to each other. She IS/HAS BEEN weighing me down BECAUSE she is an unavailable woman seeking a friendship, and though that was the initial agreement, her actions have elicited a primal want in me for more, and not being able to act is cancer/killing me.

I agree with you, and the hamster is scrambling for ways to justify a counter, an excuse for why it's not as you stated, because it is. I'll have to be near this person for sometime, actually ran into them 5 or so minutes after making the initial post. 10% rule was one suggestion. I need to know how to survive a long while of minimum contact (assigned adjoining seats) with everything else I already said. Little to no chance of lay given her LTR. And I think she has decided to get some space between us b/c she knows I am not willing to stay in that position. From her perspective, She wants to avoid my spilling the beans on how I want more from our relationship or else I am walking. Shes afraid of losing her orbiter. And I'm partly grateful for this otherwise unwise position because it's forced me to ask myself what I want and it's not to be her orbiter, or anyone's orbiter.

That sounds amazing. I am coming to realize that my first attempts at TRP did not really succeed in their goals because I've been trying to solve the problem in a cold/detached manner. Plus, if you really think that there are not now, or ever have been sources of TRP thinking individuals or ideas in popular media, you are too far down the hole. Where would the Matrix or other movies fall? Mass media (MSM) is a powerful enemy but it is not all powerful. More than anything…

OK good idea but I said songs! Like for when I'm at the gym and not head deep in a fucking medical book. Good looking out though.

Ok, I can see how this is a great course of action. I saw your post history, great understanding all around so I appreciate your dishing out some simple/hard actions that make total sense when not hamstering. I've been in hamstering/autopilot mode for a bit, obviously wasn't "seeing" myself objectively. I spent a good deal of time speaking with my father yesterday as he gave me even more harsh truths as I really opened up with him about all these things that i otherwise bottle up and try to solv…

Or in other words, how can I recover/maintain some frame in this otherwise bitch-ass position I am in, at least until the end of the semester? At some point yesterday, the hamster st…

Thank you. The word hamstering felt sobering as I read it.

I accepted because of the value in having a high SMV girl around. We also knew, and actively agreed, to be "friends" with a veneer of something more to everyone else so that (1) I could find/get a gf while keeping away some other girls who were just plain crazy, and (2) keep some hard orbiters away from her. tl;dr: Not my first rodeo.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
