I successfully talked to about 8 strangers yesterday. The only problem was, being in a small town, some already knew me so I was lucky I had an appointment in my nearest city that day and went up to talk to some actual strangers. I started out just asking directions to places (which I felt was kind of cheating) and tried to turn that into conversation. I know my problem is my location. I don't live in an area I can grow in, it's a small town as I said. If I had the resources I would move elsewhe…

It's hot when a girl does it. It's 3 years in jail when gender roles are reversed.

My interests aren't dull per say I am. I want to learn how to have a more attractive personality. I'm 22, this is something I wish I had developed a long time ago but for some reason haven't.

The 'be yourself' speech, interesting and I agree. However, what if the 'authentic man' that I am is just boring, dull and rather lifeless? Could I change my personality?

Yeah I watch movies, listen to lots of random music. My favourite kinds of music are things which I derive a deeper meaning from. sum41, 2pac, irish rebel music. Favourite kinds of movies are things like V for vendetta, the punisher. I know I'm pretty dull and boring and this is my problem.

I do this but tend to be more of a listener. I try to talk more but it's like my tone of voice isn't assertive enough and people talk over me or what I'm saying just isn't interesting. How do I become interesting?

let them qualify themselves how? I've read about RSD/ watched videos but don't have the money to subscribe. Have you been successful with any of their advice thus far?

The russian chick is putin's secret weapon you idiot! There's cyanide on her lipstick. You're dead in a matter of hours.

Call her and be like "Yo remember me from last night?" Then talk about whatever you both did last night, flirt a bit and then, when it feels right, ask her out on a date.

He's giving the opposite advice that RSD give.

I'm in the same boat as you bro. I'm boring as fuck, I wasn't always like this though so if I manage to regain what I've lost I'll hit you up

You expect me not to masturbate and possibly die from DSB(dangerous sperm build-up)?

Listen to this guy. Get her alone somewhere she's comfortable, preferably a bedroom. Use the Netflix and chill excuse if you're a teen then work your way through kissing to feeling her up to playing with her clit. If you get to the clit and play it correctly you'll get the v. The clit is the vaginas keyhole

I think you're too focused on this alpha/beta hype. If you like the girl then just go with it bud! If not, save you both the trouble and just break it off. It's ok, I used to be obsessive as we'll but I found that through 2 years of rummaging through my emotional issues with a psychologist I was able to sort through the underlying problems that led to it. I feel as if you could benefit greatly from doing the same.

We're in the same boat man and you know what? So is every other male in western society. Why do you think so many guys are starting to shave their chests, get creative hairstyles and act in a generally meterosexual way? i.e using moisturiser, conditioner and other beauty products. It's all insecurity. But I'm starting to learn that unless you're a 9 or 10/10, then you're going to have to have some social skills to pick up women. Social skills and having a lot of people like you is a sure fire wa…

I can't say I'm highly popular with females myself but from what I've gathered on here, it seems like you should find some common ground with her. Do your research on her and try to steer the conversation in that direction. DO NOT let her know you've 'done research'. Example: female likes horseriding, I know this because I saw her fb and she has pics of her horseriding. So I see her and start talking about general stuff, move the conversation towards animals. Say that I love dogs or some shit. D…

I live in Ireland and I speak in a rather intellectual manner compared to those who surround me. I've never been a 'geek' or anything, mind you.

I like you, this was a great response. My main problem still seems to be conversation-flow. Tonight, I'm going to try to improve on this with a girl I'm meeting at my friend's house. I know I should improve on my story-telling (a tip maybe you could learn from?) but my memory is horrible.

You're either missing the 'spark attraction' technique or are missing your opportunity. If girls think you're funny then you have that shit on lock man, just be yourself and know the social cues.

check out r/amiugly to see if you're actually ugly. I thought I was until I posted there, now I realise that it's more about my game. If you're not ugly, then the problem is your game. You clearly lack self-esteem so my advice would be to get more comfortable in your own shoes and just like with any skill, it takes time and practice.

Gather some confidence. Dress to impress, look in the mirror and tell yourself you look good. Ask others (family members, friends) if you look good in whatever you're going out in. If they say you look good, you'll feel good and confident. You'll go out to her with a confident attitude and you'll be much more likely to succeed. Besides all this, just keep the conversation flowing and you'll be fine.

Sounds like all you were missing was confidence.

Agreed with this guy. You may have missed your chance but maybe you should use some of the David DeAngelo (look him up) techniques to spark attraction and then lean in for the kiss. It's hit or miss man.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
