Philisophy and Science are great. Hold back on touching politics though. After you open, talk mostly about the girl while also sharing relatable things about yourself.

Well looks like we are in the same boat. My interest resides in nerdy stuff (computer engineer) so as you can imagine those are not exactly popular topics.

You and I have a couple of options:

-make them talk more about themselves so we can take a rest and instead focus more on little quips (mostly sexual or flirty quips)

-gain more attractive 'interest.' I am sure you enjoy other things that you just don't notice or think about.

you mostly wanna go with the number one option. The idea behind the conversation and too look more interesting/fun is to let them talk. And every now and then put in a little fun remark. You want to limit how many questions you ask them else it becomes an interview (and no one likes that shit). You should also give them a response as beautiful but short as you can if they ask you a question as this is them showing interest and wanting to know more about you. Amateurs tend to deflect questions and only FOCUS on the earlier tip of having them talk all the time. DON't do that.

I suggest reading the first couple chapters of free 'how to win friends and influence people.' Read by Charles Manson and Warren Buffet to name a few. The main focus is that conversations don't have to be equal contributions as everyone believes. People can still see you charming even if you contribute to <25% of the contribution. Hence the common advice from actual skilled users on this subreddit (and not the prepubescent pseudo-alpha users) to be more interested in people NOT to try to be more interesting.

You have to read the girl. There are plenty of smart women out there who would really appreciate talking to a guy about something like philosophy or science and there a lot of dumb sluts who could not care less. General rule of thumb is that people like talking about themselves, so ask her questions about her life. Be curious.

You should read up on how to make conversation with women, as it sounds like you're making typical man conversation with them (i.e. discussing objective facts that could be true or false). Women usually do not enjoy doing this with guys they'd like to get to know sexually.

Before you sleep with a girl there's not really any point in trying to talk about stuff that's too serious or intellectual since more often than not she's either not going to be interested or will have a strong opinion different than yours or a strong indifference that you aren't fond of. I would just try to keep it light, what's going on in her life what kind of things she is looking to do in the future, casual conversation, so to speak.

I feel your struggle man best thing I could recommend is just try asking open-ended questions so that your conversation partner can give you more clues as to the kind of things that she's interested in so you can elaborate on those.
