Haha. There is no substantive difference between our points of view except that you're stuck on what I choose to call each thing.

That's a fair point; in my mind that kind of crying isn't crying. There are tears but it really isn't the same.

McGregor, like all self-made men was extremely lucky, and his success is extremely rare. There are millions of men out there who worked just as hard and achieved far, far less, none of whom you will ever hear of.
/r/TheRedPill19/01/17 04:00 PM

Grown men crying are a terrible sight.
/r/TheRedPill19/01/17 03:43 PM

I find it funny that your comment is about twice as long as the OP, which might be summed up as "you guys are talking too much and trying too hard".
/r/TheRedPill17/01/17 11:14 PM

I really don't believe you're being realistic about this. It's reasonably likely this will end your relationship. You're putting the pants on her here; it's unlikely to work.
/r/TheRedPill17/01/17 10:59 PM

No, fuck off with that. Terms like "soft next" and "dread game" are useful because they have specific meanings. One of the greatest differences between intelligent people and everybody else is that intelligent people maintain and use concepts with high specificity. If you want to be a dumbass, you have plenty of other people to keep company with. This shouldn't be the place for it.
/r/TheRedPill17/01/17 10:55 PM

In my view you're setting yourself up for a huge disappointment by trying to open the relationship this way. She'll never feel ok about it and you're rubbing her face in it by making it explicit.
/r/TheRedPill17/01/17 04:05 PM

I agree; it's tempting to want to think you can do this and have everybody just be polite and understanding about it like nice modern "it's CURRENTYEAR" people, but it doesn't ever seem to work. If you want to bang on the side in a committed relationship that started out monogamous, you have to be Machiavellian about it.
/r/TheRedPill17/01/17 03:45 PM

No, you can't. Dread game is something quite different; you can't soft next because she lives in your fucking house. There is no question about whether you'll come back, and you're very obviously going out of your way to make some kind of impression.
/r/TheRedPill17/01/17 06:58 AM

FEELS BEFORE REALS TRP populated by sissies confirmed
/r/TheRedPill17/01/17 02:23 AM

No, you can't. The soft next does not apply to women you live with.
/r/TheRedPill17/01/17 02:20 AM

That isn't really how it works. The difference between pseudo-science and science is a difference in underlying logic, in the reasons given to believe something. It is rare for the logic of pseudo-science to produce actionable, worthwhile hypotheses that could be put to the test using scientific thinking and methods; because of this, pseudo-scientific claims rarely progress to become scientific facts (as they are almost always either false or unfalsifiable).
/r/TheRedPill14/01/17 11:49 PM

Sadly, this sub and the TRP community as a whole are mostly made up of men in the anger phase or not even RP.
/r/TheRedPill14/01/17 11:44 PM

/r/TheRedPill12/01/17 08:57 PM

It's just another self defense scam. There are only ~four legitimate martial arts that are widely taught in the US today: BJJ, kickboxing (Muay Thai or western), wrestling, and boxing. What makes these arts legitimate is that they are all active, competitive sports and most gyms teach them within a culture of active, realistic sparring against resisting opponents. And importantly, each sport has a ruleset that allows for a reasonably realistic simulation of actual combat. It's possible to find l…

If you're moving in on some dude's woman then u deserve what happens to u. That's bullshit. She isn't his; it was his turn. If he wants to pick a fight over his turn being over, he can get stomped.
/r/TheRedPill12/01/17 07:07 AM

I don't count reddit as social media. It is social media, though. Look at your description of how you use it; it's not much different from a Facebook news feed.
/r/TheRedPill09/01/17 07:48 PM

/r/TheRedPill07/01/17 04:50 AM

You missed my point completely. I'm guessing you aren't into sports.
/r/TheRedPill07/01/17 04:28 AM

That may be, but isn't necessarily the case. This example is ambiguous because we don't know, but have good reason to suspect that the 2nd place finisher wasn't a natural female either. Cycling is far and away the number one PED sport and those two finished far ahead of the rest.
/r/TheRedPill07/01/17 02:17 AM

She beat one rider by 1 second, and everybody else by 22 minutes or more. 22 minutes is a huge lead.
/r/TheRedPill06/01/17 11:05 PM

/r/TheRedPill04/01/17 10:50 PM

Yeah...that really wasn't the point of this post man. You should read the whole thing.
/r/TheRedPill04/01/17 08:16 PM

/r/TheRedPill04/01/17 09:48 AM

Those are the only two options you can imagine? Damn..
/r/TheRedPill03/01/17 12:49 AM

Nobody knows if they bang or not. OP didn't get any answer because he blew himself out by being an autist.
/r/TheRedPill02/01/17 11:52 PM

No. If OP had any sense he wouldn't have said that in front of his friend's girl - it accomplishes nothing.
/r/TheRedPill02/01/17 11:49 PM

Make Him Comfortable Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or suggest he lie down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him. Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soft, soothing and pleasant voice. Allow him to relax - unwind. About as close as you can get to saying "suck his dick" in that era
/r/TheRedPill02/01/17 09:37 PM

Sort of. You really don't want to fake more than you have to - it should be a crutch that you use when necessary. For example: You're going to a party to get laid where there will be a lot of young women you don't know. You know you're going to feel very nervous when you go up to talk to them at first. You should hide that nervousness at first with the aim of relaxing and letting go. If you spent the whole night feeling nervous but suppressing it that wouldn't be very helpful - your goal has to …
/r/TheRedPill02/01/17 09:20 PM

It depends on what you do, what result you get. If you make a habit of faking emotions and so on then you'll end up with a bunch of habits of faking emotions and so on. That's what a lot of guys here seem to be doing, though I don't believe most of them realize that. You need to keep your critical thinking skills engaged with a subject like this. Don't accept something as truth until you've seen it with your own eyes and examined it thoroughly. The idea of "alpha" and "beta" males itself is both…
/r/TheRedPill02/01/17 05:35 AM

I think OP's message would be better revised and improved on.
/r/TheRedPill02/01/17 03:38 AM

Well...there's something to this, but I have to seriously question your priorities here: The key is to pretend. Just try it, and see the results. Talk positively about everything, every fucking thing, even if it makes you cry from inside. Mother died? Feel any emotion you want to feel but show to others that you are thankful, she must be in suffering and death have freed her of it. Hamster to the next level. Show others that you can't think negative.(Death of mother is just to illustrate an exam…

I gave you a thoughtful, intelligent, reasonably charitable reply; you gave back a rude, low-effort one that entirely missed every point I made above. No amount of Testosterone would turn a 5'2" subhuman mouthbreather with frail bones into a 6'5" robust Chad. And yet a frail, mouthbreathing 14 year old could easily grow into a strong, reasonably good looking nose-breathing man if he chooses to lift, eat, and stand up straight with his mouth closed. You clearly both over and under estimate the in…

A good face is mostly genetic and prenatal. You're mistaken. You can tell somebody doesn't know what they're talking about when they call any complex human trait "genetic". Genes do not effect development - nor anything else - directly. They only have any effect via the proteins they encode for, which signal the cells they're in to make other molecules or take various actions. What genes are you talking about? By what mechanism do they function? How does that mechanism interact with a person's e…

For sure man. I guess you're also genetically fat-chinned then. Rare combination.
/r/TheRedPill31/12/16 06:31 PM
1

Well...that is an rare state if it's true. I have a lot of experience training with people around the 8-15% bf range and equivalent in women, and in my experience very few men store noticeable fat anywhere except the stubborn spots (abs/lowback/butt) once they reach about 10%. No neck fat, no chest fat. If you used to be fat it's probably skin and empty tissue (which only cosmetic surgery or a long ass time would reduce).

Ah yeah, I mix up the fiber types all the time. You got it though, just have to swap them for my post to make sense; the point is that hypertrophy from test definitely targets more than protein deposition and is relevant to muscular endurance (including slow twitch).

The recovery you can make as an adult is limited and research is lacking. I'd watch one or more of Dr. Mike Mew's talks if you want to know more about it, he gives a good and fair overview despite his obvious interest in having interventions work.

It definitely builds the jaw muscles, but if done during growing years it also powerfully influences the development of the face. This is probably why so many modern people have ugly ass chinless faces and require orthodontics to keep their teeth straight; people don't use their jaws much growing up. Interestingly: fiber intake has a fairly strong influence on blood cholesterol levels, which you mentioned above (more fiber = lower cholesterol).

For sure man, I get that. It's just the domain hosting that article; nothing in the article is about paleo really. It's just a quick fluff piece to familiarize a person with the issue at a casual level (the level most people look for). I have yet to read or meet anybody that was into paleo who could advocate for it convincingly; I think they have one good idea (that a modern diet is pretty shit, and doesn't match our evolutionary heritage) but basically nothing else. Their diet doesn't actually …

I offered it as an easy summary of the basic ideas that surround this topic, not as a source supporting a claim. If you read the article, you'd know that the author himself basically presents it as an inconclusive overview. Your low effort comment only serves to discourage participation, apparently in a vain attempt to earn ego points by putting down someone else's contribution. It's pointless.

There was actually a study using photos of men with feminine versus masculine features. The masculine featured man (features typically caused by higher testosterone levels) got the most votes for a one night stand (read: sexual attraction). Right: one of those photo game studies. There are two problems with this as it relates to the OP and my reply above: First, they're rating photos. It's relevant to your response rate on Tinder, but does it generalize to real life? Nobody knows. Second, facial…

Well, the idea that testosterone only induces type I fiber growth is not true. One of the primary effects of supraphysiological testosterone use (i.e. STEROIDSSS) is actually enhanced glycogen production in muscle and enhanced insulin sensitivity; in short, muscles fill up with extra fuel and water. This greatly enhances performance, and can allow a person to train very heavily. It also reverses entirely when testosterone levels return to normal, but could lead to a lasting edge if the user took…

It's true. I see it as an expression of excessive magical thinking in society at large, and not all that particular to the manosphere. Though I could be wrong in that. I'm glad OP made his post though, this is a great topic for discussion and he made some fair points.

To be fair, gaining strength in the upper back does seem to improve posture. Perhaps it's because the activities you have to do to gain that strength stretch the muscles on the front of your body, or perhaps there's an increase in Type I muscle's health or mass that comes with it. A lot of the size increase seen with training isn't fiber at all, but is water, fuel (glycogen), mitochondria (energy production), and other metabolic factors. Perhaps that helps. I wouldn't be surprised if that claim …

You missed the point. A man in his early 20's with T levels of a 60 year old is hypogonadal. He'll feel like shit, have womanly fat deposits, poor libido, etc. He should get tested and address the problem. The rest of us who have normal range testosterone and live a healthy lifestyle do not need to think about it. Eat good food, get good rest, exercise, fuck women, control stress, and avoid endocrine disruptors - yes, those are all good ideas. Having done that, you do not need to sit around thin…

Here is an easy to read summary of ideas surrounding this intended for a lay audience. Here is an experimental study in mice; despite obvious limitations in applicability, their jaws do have a very similar structure and function to ours. Studies like this establish that mammalian jaw development is function dependent (makes sense given that all other parts of the musculoskeletal system are). Here is a fairly long lecture by an orthodontist from the UK who appears to have made this topic his life…

Exercise and a good diet do the same thing :/ There's minimal fat left in the facial area of healthy males once they hit about 12%-15% body fat.
/r/TheRedPill30/12/16 07:36 PM

It certainly isn't all genetics, but it's also true that you can't make large changes after you're done growing. While growing, facial form is dramatically influenced by posture and diet.
/r/TheRedPill30/12/16 07:36 PM

Lift, sit up straight, and eat reasonably hard foods. It will have a larger effect and be better for you. If in your early 20s after you're done growing you still want to take steroids, look into it then at the earliest. It's usually a bad move unless you're a professional athlete (in which case it's usually mandatory).

Well, I disagree. If you're skinny, you should lift. And you should cultivate the feeling that you're good enough as you are and don't need a certain physique to be worthwhile to women. Either one alone is suboptimal; you want both. If you're short, you can't get taller. But you can wear boots, you can keep a slightly taller hairstyle, etc. You should probably do whatever you can (within reason) to enhance your height, because it matters. I have to replies to that: First, no. The passage you're thinking of reads: Disdain Things you cannot have: Ignoring them is the best Revenge By acknowledging a petty problem you give it existence and credibility. The more attention you pay an enemy, the stronger you make him; and a small mistake is often made worse and more visible when you try to fix it. It is sometimes best to leave things alone. Find people who have great critical thinking skills and find ways to talk with them about complicated problems, ideally by working together or by studying a difficult discipline under them. People generally learn skills best by applying them under the guidance of somebody who has already mastered that skill.

Good luck dude. Can't relate to improv or salsa, but will attest to the benefits of improving your physique. It's easy to overemphasize but there are certain thresholds that once crossed, yield clear social benefits. Going from chubby to fit (which happens around that 15% mark) is definitely one of them.

Verify fucking everything you learn on the internet by testing it in the real world. Even if the person writing it had the right idea - which they often don't - our first interpretations of new ideas are often quite poor, especially with abstract or subtle ideas about complicated systems and their behavior. Test it in real life. Try to disprove it. If you can't, it may be true. I can't think of a better way to fuck up a teenage boy than to give him a few bad experiences with women and then set h…

Another thing that hit me hard was that somehow every commenter is somehow ok with her feeling like that, focusing on the biological differences between men and women on fat loss, but not a single damn soul told her directly about all the wrong things in that way of thinking. To be fair, though: testosterone is a hell of a drug. It fucking works; men gain muscle and lose fat much faster and easier than do women. I'd have a bit of venting to do myself if I were in that position.

You don't need to stay angry, and it won't help to say anything to her out of anger. I probably wouldn't try to escalate anything tonight unless she starts it. This is all false. You can't just fake it all from day one, but you also do not need any particular physical traits to be "alpha". They help, but aren't at all necessary. The main way they help is by helping you convince yourself that you're good enough to act like a man.

Come on man, don't backpedal now. It isn't a bad article; it's a good example of a basic online dating concept that everybody here should know well (i.e. the filter, and how much you can get away with when you have high population density). It was also unintentionally hilarious. No shame in that

TRP is cheat codes for life. Not in this context, no. You're mixing up metaphors. In my view the post isn't garbage; there's garbage in it, but also some useful insight, at the very least as a seed for discussion. It's interesting to consider the parallels between rape and cuckoldry, as well as important differences (e.g. acute trauma vs. longterm investment). Great post, thanks for sharing. TRP can lack empathy at times but it's absolutely central to man healing to be able to experience empathy for yourself and other people. It is interesting but also very misleading. SMV only exists as a perception in somebody's view. You don't have it somewhere, tucked away and just waiting to be drawn out and wielded. It's an idea we use to talk about how attractive somebody is to another person. Imo the image of a blade that you can sharpen is an attractive but misleading fantasy. I agree - women in a TRP forum wouldn't be much of an issue if that forum were not largely populated by weak men in a bad place trying desperately to get their head on straight. Nothing against those men, btw. But a mixed sex community doesn't serve them. They require a male space to heal and grow. See my other reply about affirmative consent in California. California has a law that mentions affirmative consent and makes some funding dependent upon its inclusion in some public university conduct policies - that is quite different from making it a standard for criminal offenses (which would obviously be unconstitutional and has never been done). But just for fun, here is the law that defines rape in the State of California. Note that there is no mention of affirmative consent, nor anything …

There's no need to be childish. That remains true in the form I stated it. California has some law that requires its public universities to have conduct policies with some kind of wacky neonazi consent standard built in, but the state does not have any crimes which use such standards. That distinction must be recognized in any meaningful discussion of affirmative consent in law, and one which is almost always ignored here. This law is pretty short and sweet, and is a good opportunity for someone with a poor understanding of legal language to learn by reading it closely a couple times. It doesn't define any new crimes - rape, etc, are referenced from other laws and the requirements for each remain the same as before. It just creates some cases where probation might have been available before, but isn't now. It wouldn't effect anything except whether a person receives probation. The people saying this changes consen…

No, it doesn't. Read the law - it'll take about 30 seconds as it's quite short and simple. It doesn't give any definitions - it only references existing law for them. The summary from the law itself: Existing law prohibits a court from granting probation or suspending the execution or imposition of a sentence if a person is convicted of violating specified provisions of law, including rape by force, pandering, aggravated sexual assault of a child, and others. This would be outrageous if it were true. But this law (full text, quite short) does not change anything about the actual rape offense in California law - which is quite reasonable and has absolutely no "affirmative consent" anywhere in it. This new law disallows parole for those convicted under existing law whose victim was "either unconscious or incapable of giving consent due to intoxication". You can also show that by replying casually and briefly and then moving along. Making a big joke implies that you have something to hide, which can hurt you if your career is important to her (as it often is) and she has no other way of assessing your $ value.

When you actually have a cool job and make a good living, it can be just as well to casually reply with what you do and move along. When you notice it, it is conscious for a moment and you can decide to think about something else. Otherwise you're pretty much at the mercy of your mental and emotional habits. Probably a big part of why personalities change so slowly. That said, if you consistently choose a new way of doing something, it will eventually become your unconscious habit. Yeah. Nothing wrong with it, just doesn't necessarily get a reply. It's important not to get too worked up (nor to overthink things) when following up with numbers as the success rate is low and getting emotionally involved doesn't improve your odds.

You didn't say anything about how long it's been that she hasn't replied, so depending on that the answer may be to wait. That said it sounds like the text you sent didn't really ask for or need a reply so I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't get one. One point of view that's quite popular is that text has only one purpose: to get the woman on the phone or in your physical presence. That doesn't mean you go straight into date logistics with every text, but if you have any strategic thought in mi…

I didn't mean to suggest that "most" women see things that way. It's certainly a vocal minority, but they are the ones calling the shots. I see. It does seem that such people call the shots in some cases, but I don't believe that it's widespread nor inevitable in any particular case. In many situations, especially those where decisions are made locally by relatively small numbers of people, it's relatively easy to influence who gets to call the shots.

I don't dispute the particular example, but I disagree that most women see things that way (it's a vocal minority) and don't share your pessimism for the strategy. It's worth noting that Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are entirely separate organizations; there is no reason whatsoever to expect that the policies of one would mirror the other. Boy Scouts of America accepts only males.

Bitcoin is extremely vulnerable as well - the network is not as robust as enthusiasts like to claim. Prohormones are a waste of time in almost all cases. If you want to use drugs to enhance your gains, use steroids and be realistic about the risks and challenges associated with them. Everything else is either the 2-3% boost in the gym shit (e.g. creatine) or very expensive unicorn tears.

I have to say, I don't believe your results shift has much of anything to do with your hair except to the extent it has boosted your confidence. It can certainly effect your results with those younger women who are turned off or weirded out by older men, as they associate baldness with being older. But it also effects your results with younger women who are turned on by older men, for the same reason. Imo it's a plus to be at least somewhat bald if you are older (30's+) as you won't waste as much time with girls that are gonna be weird about the age difference anyway, and you get to game in easy mode on the girls who want daddy.

Yes! Deadlift is the number one posture exercise imo. No; in my view, the infographic's representation of male deaths in the workplace is not a falsehood. It's an accurate representation of the fact that far more men die at work than do women, with some attempt to show why (because of the work men choose to do). The equivalent for the wage gap would be to show the percent of women and men in high and low earning fields (or hours worked over a career on average) alongside differences in lifetime earnings or some equivalent measure of pay. 'Relative length of sentence - 100 v 163'. 163 what? Relative means no units - the numbers represent a relationship. Think of a fraction where both numbers have the same units - the units cancel out and are meaningless. Probably why one is fixed to 100, to make the comparison easy. Free full text even, read it. They had a bunch of young guys either do nothing, run a cycle of 500mg test enan a week and NOT train, train, or run the cycle and train. 2 weeks is nothing; you need at least a month or two. There are dozens of clinical trials where young men take a low-moderate dose of testosterone for several weeks and make impressive gains. Your barracks 2 weeks of whatever doesn't contradict that.

Either way, it's not hgh, if you aren't lifting heavy, often, and well, than a stack won't help you. That isn't true. You can gain more by taking a low-moderate dose of testosterone and not training than you can by training without testosterone. Read the whole thing, or just skip to the table summarizing the clinical trials the article is based on. You can gain even more with both, but it's a lie that the drugs only enhance training effects.

It works roughly as well as condoms if you do it perfectly every time (4% failure rate after a year vs 2%). They're both pretty shit methods compared to hormonal birth control if it's actually taken correctly. Best non-condom method for an LTR: an IUD. Near zero failure rate and you can feel the strings attached to it when you go deep.

I agree that OP's story is implausible. But the first guy's firing is plausible if his vulgar, angry speech was well outside the norm for the company. That said, it doesn't make any sense that the company would get rid of 3 more productive employees without addressing the obvious root cause of conflict in the group (tumblrina). The implied explanation - that the company is afraid to get rid of her because of discrimination etc - makes no sense when one of the people fired is a black man.

Sounds like a straw-man argument. Who thinks being arrogant is a way to appear attractive? I sure don't. But I disagree with your OP... Feigning in general is problematic, as people are quite good at detecting it. But feigning disinterest can increase attraction in women if done appropriately and correctly. You can fake some of these behaviors if you have to. RP is more about acquiring traits (e.g. confidence, masculine physique, abundance mentality) that are attractive than it is about tricking…

Thats law in California now, google yes means yes False. The law requires California universities to use affirmative consent to adjudicate campus disciplinary actions related to sexual assault. It has no relevance to criminal or civil cases of sexual assault, rape, etc. California's laws on those crimes have not changed recently and are fairly reasonable (e.g. it isn't rape if the aggressor had a reasonable expectation of consent, even if the other person didn't want the sex). It wouldn't be pos…

But you are making claims. Your claim is that they like older men? No. You said: The only real thing older men have on dudes her own age is "money and resources." And I offered several reasons why that doesn't seem to be true. You don't seem interested in addressing any of them. It's easy to dismiss obviously flawed claims like "young women love older men." Perhaps that's why you'd prefer to talk about those things instead of what I've actually said? :P ... I haven't stated this before, but my c…

Sure. But there's an important difference: I'm not making sweeping claims about how most women view any particular thing. I don't think you should either, if all you've got to back it up is one woman's experience and a sense of how 21 year old women view older men.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/15 06:38 PM

And for most women at 21 his "wealth of knowledge and experience" isn't as impressive to her as "resources he's amassed." How do you know? That's a fairly bold claim. (Though interestingly, it isn't particularly relevant to my post. What about all the other relevant differences besides knowledge and experience?) How can this explain men in their early thirties who sleep with women in their early twenties but have few material resources?

Comparing two guys who are similar in all respects except their birth year, I'd expect the one who's ten years older to have several advantages over the younger: He'll have ten years more experience dating and sleeping with women He'll have ten years more life experience He'll have ten years further advancement in his career He'll have ten years of fitness training (if these guys lift) He'll have…

Rough choice. Being male is obviously preferable in this society - if you know what you're doing, you can easily dominate and have a fantastic life. But being a male baby in the USA is a gamble because you might lose your dick-skin. :-/ Can I be Canadian?

i suppose it reminds them that they won't be young and hot forever, and soon they will be treated more like an average man. Haha. To be fair though, women can be genuinely intrigued by honest descriptions of male experience. Not most women I've met, and not in most situations. But in the context of strong sexual relationships I've connected with a few girlfriends in this exact way and had very interesting, satisfying, mutually eye-opening conversations.

If you want to get good at something fast, doing it every day is the best approach. You have more unstructured time on your hands while in college than you likely ever will in your non-retired life. If this is what you want, you can have it. There's no shame in making this your focus for a few weeks or months - women are a huge part of a man's life, and the reward is well with the effort.

You're right that these hobbies won't get you anywhere with women. But it doesn't matter. It's good that you have hobbies you enjoy, and women will either appreciate these things about you or they won't really care either way. Hobbies don't do much to determine attraction in most cases, and when they do, it's usually fairly random; you're about as likely to meet a woman who gets wet for nerdy guys as you are to meet one who gets wet for electronic music production. It'll happen if you meet a lot…

Talk to her. If you haven't read the sidebar newbie posts, do that first perhaps. You get better at things by doing them repeatedly and learning from your successes and mistakes alike. If you want to get good at turning one night stands into relationships, you'll probably have to have a decent number of one night stands first. This one might work out, and it might not. All of my long-term relationships as an adult began with sex on the first date or before. I don't believe that I'm particularly special in that regard - men in general seem very open to relationships beginning with sex. But having hit it, and knowing my options, I can imagine big vulva being the deciding factor between calling it a one-night-stand or pursuing her further. All else equal, I'd rather spend my time with a woman whose lady-bits I find deliciously sensual. It's better that way for everyone involved.

Guys: have you ever really encountered a vagina that you didn't like? Absolutely; I've encountered a few. I enjoyed fucking them, but I didn't enjoy it aesthetically. Those are only examples; my point is exactly the same if you swap the numbers. My point is that you've overlooked a very simple mathematical fact: the average number of sexual partners must be the same between men and women as a whole.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/15 06:24 PM
1

Why is that an impossible scenario? If two men fuck the same 100 women, they both have partner counts of 100, whereas the women have partner counts of 2. It's impossible when the number of men and women counted is equal. Very basic statistics; each new partnering adds one partner to a man and one to a woman, so the averages must end up equal. The distributions may be quite different, of course; there may be a subset of men who've had hundreds of partners, but no women with more than a few dozen.…

It depends on the context. If she's attracted to you and the conversation is already framed as a man-woman conversation, you can just drop it any way you like that isn't apologetic or hesitant. If you need something to get started, you can try taking things she says that aren't sexual but could possibly be construed as sexual, and interpreting them as sexual. Getting an attractive girlfriend is very, very easy if you're an average guy with his life together. TRP isn't really interested in anything like that. They aim for the general information. Hmm...I don't believe that's true at all. Maybe this is true for the type of women you aim for. Most of the people here believe that "most" women do not like this. They claim that they do and may even believe it. But in reality, it allows them power in relationship. Nothing "wrong" with that. But its not the preferred situation to be in. I get that. Which you prefer is up to you, but I'm inclined to believe that one of your motivations is that you do it for your lovers; not yourself. Of course - it's real love. I care about the women I sleep with. Life is much, much better that way if you're comfortable with your own emotions. If you can't handle being hurt when someone you enjoy fucking won't fuck you anymore, then I guess stoicism feels better than love. But it's a distant second to actual confidence paired with genuine affection.

I disagree only in that I believe there are very useful parallels to draw between human behaviors and closely related primate behaviors. There is a sense in which you do need to be strong to do well with attractive women. You don't have to have physical strength, and you don't have to be a baddass. But you often do have to endure great emotional turmoil and come out the other side with your frame intact, for example. Humans are more sophisticated than other primates, but we have a lot in common.

I can't wait til we redefine terms. The study that showed that wolves are alpha and beta has been soundly refuted...by the original author. The alpha beta language has morphed into something quite foreign to its roots in the scientific study of animal behavior. But to be this framework as it exists in science has not been abandoned; it simply doesn't describe canine behavior very well. It's still quite good for many primate species, arguably including human beings. Because in popular discourse i…

Not really, no. Women can be individuals and still have traits in common. For example, almost all women have breasts that are a least a handful in size. Almost no men have these. This is the result of hormone-driven developmental processes. Guess what? Yeah, there are traits in the central nervous system that are also shared in common across almost all members of each sex, which are the result of hormone-driven developmental processes as well. Think about men and tits. How many heterosexual men …

would anyone like to live in a different reality where men and women have the very same sex drive both quantitatively and qualitatively? Fuck no! In that world, it would be impossible for me to keep multiple girlfriends satisfied and faithful at the same time. I only have so much jizz to offer; three or four women each twice a week is the limit. Any less and they'd start to wander; any more and I wouldn't be able to form coherent sentences.

I'm being a bit cheekie, but I'm quite serious about the truth of what I've said. Red Pill doesn't like it, but their sisters and girlfriends do. In all seriousness - pushing away strong feelings and emotional bonding is not alpha, and is not attractive to most women. Being comfortable with whatever feelings come is usually very attractive. The women I form relationships know that I love them, and that if we parted ways, I would be sad. They also know that I love some other women in …

Women do use game in this sense. It's just that women's game is predictably very different from men's. Women wear makeup. Women wear bras that push their tits up into nice cleavage. Women try to appear innocent and to downplay the extent of their sexual experience. Etc. You can't game men with personality and social value stuff, because men aren't wired that way. They're wired to seek young, sexually mature, women with feminine personality traits (traits that all women seem familiar with, honest…

This is something that CANNOT HAPPEN TO YOU. Women want to destroy your manhood to the point that you cannot go on without them. Once that happens, they will leave your ass sitting in the shit box that you created for yourself. All the while, they are off having wine with their girlfriends laughing about the fact that they heard for so and so that their ex boyfriend hasn't gotten out of bed for days and has been asking about her. Huh. Do not do this shit. You have to be the man that doesn't give…

I'd just say that our perceptions of attraction are highly context dependent. My apparent SMV is quite low when I'm talking openly with a friend about my insecurities and all the things in my life I don't like and want to change first thing in the morning after a night of heavy drinking. After a run and a shower, flirting with the cute college girl behind the counter as I buy groceries later that day, I might appear pretty damn attractive. Speaking professionally with my female coworkers (and ag…

Hmmmm so I have a question then. Anytime someone is rating someone else in TRP, they're referring to SMV as a whole, not just appearance? I haven't read TRP very much, but my impression is that numbers get thrown out like candy with little clarification of intent offered. Much of this is just appearance rating, which is ubiquitous in male culture outside TRP; other times, SMV is what's intended, but what's intended by SMV may be unclear. It seems to me that it is usually intended as an assessmen…

That's a good example, yeah. When you have options, and you're honest with yourself and her about how you feel, the frame communicates itself - and there's plenty of room to be a normal, caring human being, too. "Oh, you want to be my friend? Well, I wanted to be your lover so I'm not really interested." ... "Hey come over and fuck me?" You know you're onto something when she bootie calls you.

If you're a man, it certainly could. If you're a woman, no. Maybe 7.5? The job gets you exactly nothing. SMV is a way of roughly quantifying your appeal to the opposite sex, and is necessarily determined by different things for people of different sexes. Men's attraction to women is definitely influenced by personality, and heavily so at the extremes. But a woman can't make up for a lack of beauty with anything; men can, because looks just don't matter as much to women.

You're placing way too much emphasis on looks in determining a man's SMV. The mere fact that he regularly sleeps with hot women weighs much more heavily than his appearance, so long as he is not disfigured. An ugly women is a low SMV woman. An ugly man who regularly attracts 7's and 8's is at least a moderately high SMV man. If he were still ugly but not attracting beautiful women, he would probably have low SMV. If she were just as ugly as ever but regularly sleeping with high SMV men, her SMV …

It really depends on the relationship; explicitly non-monogamous long term relationships are great, and this point of view you've espoused is definitely relevant to them. It takes some subtlety and nuance to avoid having these go down in flames of resentment and jealousy, but it's well worth the effort imo.

How is that relevant? Men and women are attracted to very different qualities in the opposite sex. I can read /u/Hackey23 's post in a fairly harsh light, and think "Gosh, this guy thinks men should act like women are an interchangeable, disposable commodity, and make it known to women that he sees them this way. That'd feel pretty bad to be on the receiving end of." But I don't believe that is the intent (if it is, he's gone too far). Being a dick works with a certain set of women, but almost b…

Whatever dude! I'm just describing my experience. In my life, looks have not seemed all that important to women. Women say they appreciate things I do, feel, and say; they don't talk much about my appearance.

I meet women in person. I've never had height come up - I just don't approach women as tall as I am sexually. I'm not into tall women, and women aren't into short men - but it's all relative. I've never had a woman reject me for my height, which is decidedly average. Come to think of it, though, the question is irrelevant. Even if women commonly rejected me for my average height, my experience would still contradict your claim as I would still have had plenty of casual sex opportunities as a non…

It seems to me that a lot of casual sex for women isn't really about relationships - thinking about it in terms of relationships may not be the best approach. What if they're just driven to be impregnated by the studliest guy around when they're ovulating? That might explain the behavior better.

Women, however, are EXTREMELY picky, as Tinder studies have shown. If you're not 6 feet, charismatic, and ripped, the odds are you will NEVER have sex without commitment in your life. That's ridiculous, as I'm sure many will point out in this thread. In my experience, height is only a deal-breaker for women if you're not a bit taller than they are (and there is no difference in this regard between casual and non-casual sex). Looks in general don't seem to matter much, actually. Casual sex opport…

Interesting... I haven't been with anybody who doesn't like to be touched by guys she's attracted to - perhaps because I get physical almost immediately with new women, without regard to whether I want to be lovers or friends. So some of my go-to activities are things like impromptu partner yoga, play-fighting, wrestling, massages, mock palm-reading, and so on. I do this stuff shortly after meeting, in our first interactions, and come back to it often in relationships. But there are many other w…

Are you sleeping with this woman? If so, you can get a lot of mileage out of being great in bed (which is fairly easy to accomplish). If not, you should probably move on; this woman is your friend. Of the things you mentioned, jealousy and intense shared experience are the closest to good ideas. You don't want her to think you're mentioning other women to make her jealous, but if she gets the impression that other women are into you that will almost always increase her attraction. This can be as…

Why work so hard to prevent silence? There are times when you're picking up a woman when it's good to be able to steer the conversation to avoid some awkwardness. But you don't need to constantly talk to do that. There are also times when you should lay back and leave a big awkward space or a poignant silence. Being comfortable with silence yourself is very, very important.

You should read up on how to make conversation with women, as it sounds like you're making typical man conversation with them (i.e. discussing objective facts that could be true or false). Women usually do not enjoy doing this with guys they'd like to get to know sexually.

but to advise against communication about sex in general? This isn't what I meant, though. I'm advising against proposing escalation verbally, and advising that you just do it, gradually, and see what response you get. Because it's gradual, and you get clear behavioral consent or disapproval each time, there isn't any problem. You might do one thing she doesn't want, and then withdraw (e.g. OP might be fingering her and then put her hand on his balls and she withdraws the hand and says "no"). Bu…

You got some decent advice above, including: Next time you are lying in her bed, escalating to fingering her, eat her pussy, and when she is warmed up and doesn´t already begs you to fuck her, just fuck her. Be dominant, show her that you are a a man. A man that knows what he wants, and takes it whenver he wants it. That might be too forceful, too aggressive for your situation. But the idea - escalate physically toward what you want, starting with what you know you can do and slowly building fro…

It does sound a bit rapey, but I think in truth, it wouldn't be. Why? Because this is how sex actually happens, all the time. One or both people escalate physically until they either have sex, or somebody backs off / stops expressing enjoyment. There is essentially no chance of OP convincing this woman to fuck him with words, and there is also no chance that OP is going to put his dick in this woman if she doesn't want that (because she will obviously make it known, and OP has clearly demonstrat…
