Remember that reddit admitted hate speech against men is allowed

Portraying only women and children as innocent victims while ignoring what Palestinian and Iranian man face is so misandrist and bigoted.

Direct your verbal violence to misogynists, and that is done by fighting misogyny, not by making posts that antagonize others who have nothing to do with this. Most men here have nothing to do with misogynist kink subs, and thus, they shouldn't be attacked. Posts like yours can easily be seen as an attack. Regardless, this kind of misandry doesn't personally affect me, but I understand why many on this sub can see it as an attack. And making misandrist comments even as "revenge" isn't justified.…

So we make satire posts to expose how ridiculous they are by flipping the genders. I think any sane person already knows that misogynist kink is ridiculous. Making misandrist posts in "revenge" will only antagonize people, I don't see how it fixes the issue especially when the posts don't say its satire, so it can easily be seen as serious.

ok, sure, i can get that the original post might have been made to copy this, but independently, the post definitely comes off as misandrist. Also, does reporting work for these misogynists? Does reddit ban these subs? Reddit moderation is extremely weird.

evidence for your claim that the above post came as a result of that?

ah yes, only 1% of women are bad and 90% of men are bad. You misandrists are so delusional.

report this. But I don't expect reddit to take any action, considering how reddit openly admitted that misandry is permitted on reddit.

Just here to say that the above two comments were sarcastic before any feminist trolls capture your comments out of context and claim that you guys are misogynistic. yeah, unfortunately some redditors don't understand sarcasm without the "/s".

First of all, I won't immediately trust stats provided by femcels. Secondly, it is an assumption in their post that more males somehow means reddit isn't gynocentric. Its' obviously not that simple.

Not misandry though. Just irrelevant and low effort content that shouldn't belong in this sub.

reminds me of the time when reddit openly misinterpreted their rule 1 and said that bigotry against men is acceptable on their platform.

yeah, anything saying "moids" is to be immediately ignored as femcel content.

how? also, i have seen it being used against misandrist women too, so i don't think the word itself is misandristic.

Reminds me of the time when reddit said that hating men is not against its rules.

Supporting genocide and misandry. What a disgusting combination.

the last picture is somewhat accurate, especially about the pornography thing(it is accurate about feminist women's reception to this stuff, but it is wrong to say that all men caused this. Its an overgeneralization). however, it is a bit too generalized. And I see it as due to certain elites' wanting sexual degeneracy, rather than a gender war between men and women as TERFs may see it.

if someone creates a subreddit for "fragilefemaleredditor" that would be banned immediately(as it should, because usually such subreddits would promote misogyny, misandry, racism etc). Ah well, reddit thinks it is impossible to hate men <image> Reddit doesn't even understand their own rule 1 lmao.

I am not against signing this petition lmao. I don't think this petition is wrong or immoral, don't get worked up. And personally I wouldn't mind seeing that subreddit get banned. However, idk how petitions affect reddit, and I don't think a subreddit ban would bring major change. That doesn't mean that it shouldn't be banned.
/r/EverydayMisandry09/11/24 01:05 AM
24

their subreddit is heavily misandrist, they shared this tweet for example: <image> but I don't think reddit is important enough to have entire petitions to ban subreddits(although it should still be banned because of misandry).
/r/EverydayMisandry09/11/24 12:50 AM

Racism, misandry and body shaming combined! I am surprised reddit downvoted this. Normally, reddit upvotes stupid, racist or misandrist stuff.

The post was talking about the Bible and the thread evolved to being about religions in general. So, I think the point of this thread was to prove if bible/other religious scriptures are/aren't misogynistic, not what happens in the middle east. Also, I would argue its regressive-ness not misandry/misogyny that leads to extremist actions like stoning gays or punishing women for simply not wearing the hijab.
/r/EverydayMisandry12/10/24 12:04 PM
2

I never claimed that middle east countries aren't misandristic. I didn't mention the middle east at all. So your comment is a non argument.
/r/EverydayMisandry12/10/24 12:00 PM
1

Well, in such religions, women too have different responsibilities that men don't. The 2 sexes aren't identical, but are equal. Having different responsibilities does not negate this equality.
/r/EverydayMisandry12/10/24 09:54 AM

I’ve heard of religions that men must protect and respect women*! How is protecting and respecting women misandrist in anyway?
/r/EverydayMisandry12/10/24 09:51 AM

I figured that out because of the comments section and re-reading the headline thrice.
