My husband and I don't have kids, just a whole house full of pets, and this is how our marriage is 99% of the time. I've been extremely depressed lately and unable to do my share of household tasks. I didn't tell my father (my mom passed away several years ago) about how my ex husband abused me because I was embaressed. I felt like I should have been way more alert about red flags. I was in the same position three years ago. I'm married now, my husband is 100% vanilla, very gentle and loving, will not hurt me. It took me about 1 year to kind of "reprogram" myself. Prior to meeting my husband, I had never been with a partner who was not into kink. It really got me thinking and then i did some therapy.
