Outside of the military/police, civilians with assault weapons have caused far more innocent deaths than guilty ones. Your argument that not using guns makes me unqualified to talk about it is basically the same as the "no uterus no opinion" argument that I know wouldn't fly on this sub. I want to keep guns out of the hands of psychopaths. A friend of mine attended Stoneman Douglas and had graduated the year before it got shot up. First of all, it's true that pistols do make up the largest amount of individual shootings in America, however that statistic leaves out how many people die in each shooting.
