pegleg is right it's never too late to lawyer up. something I regret in my divorce process was not recording more interactions and gathering more evidence to help me out in court. hell knows no wrath like a woman scorned.

yes my guy it is no longer uncontested and it is time to get a lawyer. i guess its good you don't care about material possessions because she is probably talking to a lawyer about getting as much of yours as she can. just let the lawyers do the talking that is as smooth as you can get it.

same man i thought i was off the lease and then noticed receipts in my e mail and was like wtf. the lady at the leasing office told me if your in a contract like a leasing agreement both people have to sign off on it if your going to make any changes. also im pretty sure she told the leasing office i was refusing to do so. ​ i would suggest going to the leasing office to figure out for sure.

Thanks man Im for sure not perfect and make my mistakes but I just peace in my life again. This community and people like yourself have been a blessing for me. Most of us have an almost identical story and i have even got some good legal advice as well. I didn't even know co-parenting apps existed before I joined this sub.

Perhaps I wasnt detailed enough. Im getting my self off the lease. The leasing office requires signed paper work from both tenants. Both forms require the names of the tenant leavING as well as everyone in the party that will continue the leasing agreement. She got upset when I told her they required the names of eveyone including pets that will be occupying the house. Edit: it had explicit instructions on the form so i thought it would be an easy thing to get done but boy was I wrong

Yeah I phrased everything as the leasing company requires this the leasing company said they need all parties listed. And I think your right she just frames. that into oh what a controlling ass hole. Recording the interaction helped me keep my cool but she could the probably tell she was getting under my skin. This particular women thinks shes really good at manipulating people and in most cases she is. I actually just made a similar post the other day if you want to check out the thread. For me I cant stand my ex I Don t text her dont answer her calls i dont respond to her text and dont engage in conversation when I get my kids. Maybe more distance will help you as well. also staying busy helps keep my mind off things. Your going to make it man one day she wont be able to hurt you anymore. And stay active in the sub talking to people on here and hearing thier stories has been a blessing for me…

Yeah I try to put a lot of time into my kids and I love them to death i also had two step kids who I loved like my own and I Don't get to see them anymore. It just hurts we cant all be together as a family sometimes. I like your advice though I think my kids have awesome personality and are really sweet and well behaved for the most part.
