Bud, i've been there. It does not work. It does not work at all to open the marriage or allow a poly thing. I get the finances thing, but her selfishness will make your financial situation significantly worse. I personally don't understand the obsession with sex so many people seem to have, like sure it's fun I enjoy doing it and am good at it, but it's not my personal top priority and it's really really annoying that so many people hold it so high on their list that everything else can be perfe…

What would you like to know? It was honestly fairly stressful primarily because of the suspense of if the judge would care about my evidence or not, but overall it turned out decently.

Yea that's completely fair y'all, I have just been conflicted, 12 years of her tearing me down emotionally and I've been going to therapy to try and get some self esteem back, but my go-to instinct with her is to just not cause any more issues. I don't want to put her on the defensive and possibly make things worse, and tbf my lawyer is a moron, so I thought it was just the better solution. I'm still thinking it over but I may lean towards keeping him on until it's done, I just worry it's gonna …

I know it sounds cliche, and I even hate hearing this from people, but it will get better, but only if you actively make it better. Which seems like even more piled on to what you're going through, and like you said, some days will be much worse than others. I'm actively 3 months into a really high Conflict Divorce that is only just now finally starting to simmer. I know I still have a long road ahead, and yesterday was one of the bad days thanks to issues at my job mixed with a bunch of stressf…

Mine came suddenly and hurtfully towards me. It was all primarily done so her and her mother could sell off the house that I paid for. They filed a false police report against me originally intending to get me slapped with a restraining order from the property so they could do what they wanted with the property, and unfortunately the po-dunk county we live in decided to milk the situation financially and arrested me 2 weeks after the report was made. After that happened, in order to not take any…

It's a mixed bag. 90% of what she's accused me of or demanded has been completely thrown out, but she still has temporary primary custody of our son since she decided to move 3 hours away and the court didn’t want him to be ripped away from school again so close to the end of the year, plus I'm now having to live with my parents until I move into my new house in a couple of weeks so I don't have a place for him to sleep at the moment. Honestly things would be a million times better if my lawyer …

I feel that. I was given the ultimatum of "let me find another woman so I can explore my sexuality or I'll kick you out of the house you paid for, divorce you, and take your son". That was 3 years ago, and now I'm in a high Conflict Divorce with her saying every false accusation she can against me, and while I have the proof and submitted the proof proving she's lying, its still overwhelmingly exhausting and soul crushing.

In Texas, Johnson County, U.S.A. I'm thinking the same thing, thr only issue is I really don't have the money for another lawyer. I've never had saving cause I was the one supporting the household, and I made sure she was able to have savings and work as little as possible while she was going to college. To top off the financial issues, being removed from my home based on bs allegations has put me back significantly, financially. Even if I sold all of my current possessions I would only have abo…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
