Yes, that's the argument as well and I used it in a couple of threads. I can't say how good police works, but it needs to do better, when it comes to these cases. If they're good enough already, then no questions.

Primary, rapists Secondary, police

So I didn't do that, right?

What's your prevention entails then?

Is "Kids, don't rape. Rape is bad." your prevention? 🤨

Which you took from a study, that factors in unreported rape. Nice, you're proving my own point for me. 🙂

Police sucks, fine. Different countries, different cities, different police departments. The fact that you won't find out until you try. And police isn't the only authority. Many women's groups and communities can help you and amplify your voice.

Do I not hold rapist accountable in first two sentences of my post? Please read. Explain to me how tf are we supposed to stop rapists, when women don't report them?

Who are you talking to? I didn't blame victims I didn't rape people I can't stop raping people, because I never started. Again, who are you talking to?

Then victims should speak up! Don't you see you go in circles? Of course, police should do all they can and everyone knows police is fucked up sometimes, but this defeatist "oh they won't believe me anyway" is exactly why rapists think they'll get away with it. Man up. Try. Do everything you can to expose predatory behavior. Go on social media. Campaign. Woe is me behavior

Victim blaming: Blaming the victim on the crime they suffered from. Me: Criminals are to blame and victims should let poilce know of the crime committed.

Which gathered huge wave of criticism, made judge resign and is an example of widespread agreement with victim, who later published a successful memoir book? Sorry. I fail to see it as "system is rigged and unfair". It's more of "This court was widespreadly denounced and judge was thrown out. Would be nice to re-do the court, but I'm not sure if it's legal to do."
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 08:01 AM

"Men bad" Okay, whatever
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 06:50 AM

Well, then it failed it's purpose spectacularly. Not only did men not empathize with women's experience, but got outraged, defensive and resentful, when told that women would rather trust a wild apex predator, known for it's danger, than a random man, not to KILL AND RAPE them. At that point I would question it's purpose on your place. Was it really a "Hypothetical, meant to show female experience" or just an EXTREMELY successful ragebait.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 08:12 PM

As asexual, I see it as an absolute win😆
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 04:23 PM

I don't think it's supposed to be taken seriously. It's just a preferrence, told in harsh words.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 11:06 AM

None of those cases. Unless legally bound, all of those are voluntary. I don't think there really exists a voluntary exploitation. Except fringe cases.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 11:01 AM

Yes, there are huge swaths of laws and policies that discriminate men.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 07:49 AM

And honestly, this text disgusts me. These talking points are all the same and "muh representation", while men are toiling away, killing themselves and facing the blame of every single thing in existence. Despite I know that you don't mean bad, it's still boils my blood to see how blind you are to men's issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 07:48 AM

Holy shit an essay Okay, shall we? Women face strong barriers to promotion. Yeah, as everyone else. Women are actually rarely picking high positions themselves, instead preferring less paid and less stressful positions. Men are overrepresented in high positions, due to "breadwinner" gender roles, male disposability and mate selection pressure. Women simply don't have this pressure to perform on them, instead opting to have more free time on less stressful jobs. "Glass ceiling" exists in heavily …
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 07:45 AM

Honestly, OP sounds like schitzo with all that Blackpill language.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 07:06 AM

Could have just called women stupid, would save space. If you think this line of reasoning is what women think, you pretty much just making them look dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 06:20 AM

No, misogyny is not systemic. Yes, misandry is systemic. What's the difference? Attention of mainstream media and ostracization of dissenting views. Modern western media is clearly "men-bashing".

Because there's no friendship like that. It's beyond friendship and beyond "besties". You won't find a connection this intimate, emotionally tied and strong in any friendship. People don't break up crying in their friend's arms, especially not men. People don't snuggle and hug/kiss while marathoning some dumb show in friendship. People don't even have each other's backs really, unless it's convenient. And that's precisely why it's exclusive. Nothing on this level of trust and unity can be open. …

/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 07:34 AM

We're on ppd. People here don't reflect reality. Same what you said is in comments under bear posts. I don't think you'll agree that it makes "men are rapists" correct.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 07:09 AM
13

It's still a negative blanket statement. Also it assumes all/absolute majority have the same worldview that makes them compatable with "not caring about men" nurture. And if it's your experience, I'm deeply sorry. And I understand that this sub makes people coming up with inflammatory posts. But it doesn't mean that you are correct. I've seen many, many happy couples and marriages. I've seen many girls and women, who not only would happily do 50/50, but even pay themselves to treat their partner…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 07:04 AM
25

Sounds just like another misogynistic post. How would you prove it? Most women are good with splitting the bill 50/50. Is that one thing enough to revert to absolute statements "Women are X"? Fuck, a week ago I've defended men against same shit in those bear debates. Can't you people see that few bad apples don't make entire gender bad??

Please re-read my answers. There's a couple things, that are the opposite of what I've said. There's romantic attraction, emotional closeness of friendship and pure "division of labour" and "safe haven" reason, all contributing to people wanting to get into a relationship. All if the above can attract a person. I pursue things that make me attractive and financially stable. I've already wrote why. I pursue that type of relationship. It was in my first comment, I believe. Why can't I adopt? If it…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 05:36 AM
2

No. The framing of the first question is wrong. I would not be attractive, stable, etc TO NOT have sex and adopt. I would do it, however, to have a loving person by my side. To know that I have their back and they have mine. To share happiness and misery. To prop each other up for both of us to prosper. And a million of small happy moments to share, loving each other. Same applies to the second question, a kid is just another plus in having a family.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 04:41 PM

It's all good. I can't speak for all aces too.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 03:18 PM

I plan to adopt a kid. I'm also asexual. And I pursue a relationship. Honestly, still would without a kid in the picture.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 03:17 PM

Idk, there're not many asexual men, they're in high demand actually, if you date other asexuals.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 02:56 PM

Question: what do you mean by family? Can a family be two people? A couple and pets? A couple and adopted kid?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 02:42 PM
1

They're that. Plan B. Nobody is relying on them normally as birth control. They are for extreme cases, for those last percentages normal birth control doesn't cover. If people don't want a kid, they have no choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 06:00 PM

We have plan b's and abortions for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 05:54 PM

You'd prefer women not having kids? How much choosier can women get, when birthrates are in dive globally?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 05:52 PM

It would be nice to have paper abortions.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 05:50 PM

Women are already choosy enough for those, who they want to have a child with. And the conversation has 0 things to do with casual sex, where a woman has a whole arsenal not to get pregnant.

It's all state interests. Wouldn't want some dudes to fuck around and leave single moms just like that. You could quite easily game the system if you wanted.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 01:20 PM

No, I wouldn't. There are a few areas in which there's considerable difference in abilities of average man/woman. I wouldn't hire a male nanny, as I wouldn't hire a woman to carry my furniture.

It was mathematically and statistically proven thousand times on this sub, that bears are more dangerous than men. Yes, women fear men. That's a big problem. That's actually a huge problem. I can't personally solve it, and many men cannot too, because they weren't the part of the problem to begin with. And the scum that does that, will not pay attention to what women day, as they don't see women as equals. And the women, who jump on this fear wave and start actually bashing innocent men over som…

It is deeply saddening and I have no words, other than condolences. A good friend of mine was SA'd last week. I was and am extremely worried for her, but she knows, that that person will be in jail now, serving time. You have all rights to be vary of men, until it grows into defamation, hate speech and collective punishment. I understand if women are vary, especially if they are sa survivors. But even that doesn't excuse hating people, based on group alone. Absence of collective punishment, Blac…

Okay, you just confused me by saying "on a bell curve". This graph is called histogram.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 09:39 PM
1

Yes, the men, who perpetuate the hatred are responsible for getting rid of it as well. Everyone is. You say culture forms the person. I say person forms the culture. I can see what you're coming from, but culture itself just doesn't exist. It's us, humans, in our collective, aren't yet good enough to be free of biases and prejudices. But it is of my opinion, that every person is responsible for being decent. I'm extremely sorry for your horrid experience. I hope whoever did it, got the punishmen…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 09:32 PM
3

Don't you think it's a person's responsibility to grow up and realize the lies, made up by culture? I think if a person is a bigot, it's kinda their fault, as they have brains and education and internet at their fingertips to find out that they were wrong. Or, at the very least, this person should be open-minded enough to cast doubt, when met with a radically different opinion.

What bell curve are you talking about???
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 09:08 PM

I don't get along with guys well. Men are extremely closeted and man-to-man emotional talk is a unicorn thing. Almost all, maybe all even of my good friends are women and girls. I appreciate them a lot. They're all absolute queens and I love being a part of their lives and they like to be part of mine too. Girls are awesome. They're soft and nice. And they smell good. Hope I'll find one I could call mine soon enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 08:56 PM

Why do you think Marxism is illogical?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 10:29 AM

And while we're at it, how do you see egalitarian discourse? We might actually just be calling same thing different names. I'd call MensLib quite egalitarian. It addresses men's issues, while subscribing to the basics of equality movements and some definitions, brought by feminism.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 08:41 AM

What's your definition of patriarchy, it's reasons and how can we observe patriarchy in the real world? We disagree on what is better in gender discourse. You think feminism and MRMs (Or just feminism?) are better than egalitarianism, because they activate people better and address important topics. I think that vast majority of feminist and MRM discourse is just talking past each other and breeding hate to the other side of the conflict. Judging by the current state of gender war with both side…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 08:24 AM

Yeah, love the switching between "Patriarchy benefits men" and "Patriarchy harms men"
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 07:33 AM

Yeah, love the switching between "Patriarchy benefits men" and "Patriarchy harms men"
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 07:33 AM

Yeah, men have honestly nothing to do within feminist movement nowadays. Radfems had poisoned the ground too much for there to be a discussion. I used to be a male feminist. I've attended real life meetings at feminist meeting centers and parades. The atmosphere is just hostile to men. Silencing and avoidance was common. Just be egalitarian. Feminism is done for. It's reputation is spoiled beyond repair.

Just divide the risk by a number you deem appropriate. I personally don't think every woman has 1000 situations every day, when a man could safely rape and kill her.

Doesn't make it less sexist tho🤷‍♂️
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 04:25 PM

Making encounter a day bigger actually lowers the chance of being attacked. If we take 3 encounters, the risk would be 3 times less.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 04:17 PM
2

Tell me your encounter rate then. I asked you already.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 04:15 PM

Divide by 3 the risk men pose then.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 04:12 PM

I know the methodology isn't prefect, but it is what it is and it's believable enough. There are SO many variables and small details in every aspect of this question and curcumstances. I choose 1, because it's believable. I could do it with 0,5 or 0,25 or 2, it'd be mostly same. As every single math model, it is simplified.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 04:10 PM

Given that we know the ballpark for human interaction, we can let the number of bear interactions be the deciding factor in which side is objectively correct. The cutaway point is written in post.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 04:03 PM
2

The calculation shows: Male stranger attacks are rare Bear attack are rare There's a fairly solid ground for "men are safer than bears" argument. But without proper numbers it's not real to say conclusively.

1

Cool. Keep being ignorant then :)
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 03:39 PM

Which are just that. Wrong opinions. You know that many people being wrong doesn't make it right? Unless you believe that women actually meet bears THAT frequently.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 03:37 PM
1

How'd you calculate the number of encounters? This number comes up in many calculations, regarding this theme. Changing it within realistic borders doesn't change calculation much.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 03:34 PM

Post-truth world isn't a good world, you aware of that? Go learn about history BEFORE scientific method.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 03:27 PM

Women say men like chase to discourage women, who don't play them. Chasing is highly profitable for women. (dates, admiration, orbiters, foodie calls, self-esteem, favors) So every woman, who doesn't play chase is a "pick me" (An individual, spoiling game for others for their own sake) Therefore it's required to spread the myth of men liking chase, to try to keep other women in line, so all can profit.

Absolutely a group of men. Division of labor is a MUST in survival situations. Average man is physically more capable than average woman and the morale of group of men is just higher in survival situations. I was in army and, strangely enough, when there are no females around, me and my friends even stopped masturbating, because there were no exposure to horny/suggestive materials/women. So it would be like a little brotherhood, stuck together on an island with survival goal. ✊✊

I'm talking about general attitude towards men and relationships, not any singular men. Right now, due to current culture, women "need no man" and "better off alone". Rp hopes that after war breaks out, men would be sought after, because culture shifts and it'll be "Support our defenders" and "Glory and honor of our soldiers"

They hope and think that war-time measures would strip away the current societal attidudes and make men "defenders" again and women "housewifes". They hope that all feminist rhetoric would be thrown in the bin and men's status in society will change from a "parasite" to "hero". Then, of course, men would be sought after, as a status symbol. Plus, yeah, men being more rare would play into status symbol too.

That's why the question assumes the worst case.

Sorry, am I not allowed to find repulsive things/traits/habits in my partner? Get out here with this policing. Nobody's perfect, so compromise, or be forever alone. Every mature person can handle their partner, disliking details/traits/habits they have, because their partners love them regardless. Am I not allowed to see bodily fluids repulsive now? Huh!? Okay, I see. Well yeah, if taken to the logical extreme with this definition, there are almost no altruistic people, which makes it a useless definition. Women should select themselves. A lot of relationships aren't even given a chance, because there's current social pressure against it. If this trend could be reversed, (I don't think that many people will miss overly promiscuous society, where sex is a product.) if girls, who pair up would be more socially relevant and lone girls would have same treatment as lone guys get nowadays, it'll normalize gender relations and will enhance social cohesion. Other than that, boys and men absolutely need so…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 01:48 PM
0

Yeah, it does.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 12:35 PM

And how do you know that? Any real data on number of men exclusively to fuck? Women are given all the cards in their hands to find a partner. Even if 2/3 are there to fuck, 333 out of only one thousand are men knocking on average female door. "Actively" I'm sorry, didn't know that swiping with bare minimum conversation skills is considered "actively" looking for a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 11:44 AM
-1

It means to create a cultural climate, that discourages partner switching and promotes healthy levels of mate selection without hypergamy. Like 1980s culture, without excess "every man/woman is a soul-sucking demon, hungry for sex/your wallet" we see today. Yes, they will settle for less than without social pressure. But due to culture, they'll think of this as "normal". Same thing with males. Both sexes need to suppress their primal desires for us all to live better.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 09:36 AM
1

Idk, when people fight tooth and nail to get any welfare out of pockets of our rulers, I see it as highly immature to decline it for such petty reasons. If you have money, go buy a hooker. Would be exactly what they try to do. I agree with all here.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 09:29 AM

Read "suppress women's innate sexuality". It's too long to write it every time.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 09:24 AM
1

I agree with all, but the last one. Western-modeled societies are waist deep in gender culture war. And it looks like either there'll be a radical transformation (hopefully without a major war) or men and women will continue pulling the social blanket apart, tearing it in the end. I don't think that we can handle 30% of incels in the society, because they propagate further and further. We need a change of narrative and either government will do that, or people on its ruins.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 09:22 AM
3

The frame of "attractiveness" will shift substantially. Of course there still will be some unfuckable men, but instead of 20% it'll be 5%, for example. The men will not become beautiful overnight, just the ability of women to pair up will change and they'll have to adapt.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 09:14 AM
3

No, it really is just market forces. Less men->more of them have a pair->less anger on the streets. Supply n demand, nothing more The men, who live through will enjoy majority of women, therefore their standards and self-worth will rise, making them hard to get. Then they start to be seen as a status symbol and sign of ability to attract one. Gender roles switch and life goes on. Always was like that after major wars. In my country there's even a WW2 song about that

It's not a good choice for many men. Often single mother's attitude is no different than any other female, even though they come with a lot of extra luggage. Ones, who understand, that they are less desirable than majority and adjust their preferences accordingly, will have no problem finding a man.

We live in a society. And monogamous families (preferably extended) is the most socially stable way to procreate. It's awesome if rules and regulations are made to ensure safety. But they are made equal and for everyone. In truth, we don't know if men or women molest more. Your attempts at profiling turns a blind eye to the numerous cases of females being serial rapists for years, protected by sexiest views like yours. And it leads to innocent male teachers, who are made to leave the field through no fault of their own. Collective responsibility my ass.

Then me going for that is losing my beliefs. In a way, same goes for style. I could be stylish without extraordinary spending, but it's really really hard. I guess, but it's really not about emotions. It's about your worldview. To be honest, any of these have barely anything to do with emotions

I would really want to punch every single one psychologist, who spews this shit, in the gut. If you say this, you clearly have no clue what addiction is. It's not true and you are misinformed. Source: Google. Try asking if addicted people are just dumb

I call doubt on your "plenty of evidence". Higher education can make you more successful, sure, but: -Huge debt -A lot of poor people actually have an education or two -Success not as a result of education in itself, but being able to afford it (becoming successful not because education, but because parents could afford-> richer background->opportunities) -experience years and career growth lost to education -cost/risk/reward of not making it to the end

I wouldn't say it's emotional, as most gamblers I personally know- are just really dumb. They have no clue of any fallacy and prone to them. You could still say it's emotional and I can't say much here, except that mostly men comprise gamblers because financial load is mostly on men. Men are required to get money. And some of them are dumb enough to gamble. It's not because men are more emotional, but because men are responsible for providing

I mean, isn't that correct for many? Men stick it in crazies, in braintwisters, in ones that will baby trap you in a second. Men pay crazy money for hookers and play Russian roulette with every chamber full of STDs. And I'd say that not that little percent does that.

Almost every post here is a misconception, because people forget to touch grass and forget that PPD is not representative of any group. But in real life, people rarely have false misconceptions. Or it's just my environment, that is very open-minded. Other that women being better caretakers it's hard to remember any often held beliefs.

I'd personally stand by that men and women are same level logical and same level emotional, excluding women having hormonal swings because of days/pills. Because they say so themselves.

In almost every example you give, there is a rationale. I'm not saying that you are wrong, but only that your examples are bad: Gambling is sunken cost fallacy, which makes sense, when you are already in the situation. Plus gamblers are mostly people with little to lose and much to win or those in top 1%, who do this for fun. And emotions don't really play much influence here, addiction does. On addiction later. Committing suicide is absolutely logical. You are in pain-> That's a way to not be i…

Because social roles and views are different? Men and women look for different things in a partner. Men don't really care about their woman's profession, but women do. Because of traditional societal roles.

Men in YOUR life? Your as being friends with you, a woman? Men are much more open with women than with other men. Men cannot or won't talk about anything real with each other majority of the time. That's in the culture. There are really close men, but they are outliers. Even if you yourself, personally will try it out, you'll have almost nobody, who's willing to me closely opened to another guy. And again, you having opportunity to go against social norms is a sign of privilege you have. You don…

Men invest their emotional labor. As much as it is socially acceptable. There are much harder social barriers for male friendship. No man alone can lift social barriers. You don't have the experience, but do you really think that lonely men killing themselves and "male loneliness epidemic" is just because they couldn't think of "go make friends"? For men, friendships are different and more difficult. And no, not because "not investing". Breakup is highly vulnerable state, where having friends or…

Can't speak for all, but I see it this way. Men in everyday life are competitive to no end. We compete socially, we compete for women, we compete for status and money. So much of our lives is just proving to be worthy of what you want/have. So I think most men want someone, who is "home" for them. With whom it's safe. With whom you don't need to constantly prove that you are worthy. Who won't leave you in your weakest moments. Somebody, who will be there even if walls are crushing down. I think …

Culturally, men's spaces are places of privilege. You needed to be worthy to become a true member. In years before, big families, fathers, brothers, uncles and grandfathers taught young boys how to be. Boy Scouts, church, army, clubs, sport teams. Even men's friend groups of more then 3 people are starting to get hierarchical. In-group status means a lot. But with 2 huge world wars, feminism movement, industrialization, not only there were much less men to teach youth, but also men's place in th…

Depends on what is meant by "Lonely" If lonely as single, then figure is roughly same, because men:women 1:1 ratio and heterosexual couples are most common. If lonely as lacking intimacy, then men, as it's far harder for a guy to get intimate, compared to a girl. (See scale of attractiveness for both sexes) If lonely as lacking social connections, it's guys. See friendship and partner statistics for both sexes.

This is blatant sexism and that is not ok. Funny thing, an unarmed woman is not a pushover. Many times in my family my mom/sister would start a fight. And with the nails women have, that's not a nice thing to see. Many times I was bleeding on face, neck, arms and body. Poor women wear short knifes on their fingertips.

I think we just disagree on what "to owe" means To me it is what is expected of the person to be/to provide, or suffer consequences. Of course, that is not strictly definition. Let me rephrase then: I am entitled to, as a person living in modern society for me and others to: Being not hostile Following the law Being nice In other words, people owe me that. Of course they can not do that and suffer/have chance of suffering legal/societal consequences.
