The choice may be influenced by societal factors in my opinion

According to GEPI, an institute that conducts studies across the U.S, women do much more childcare + housework than men, even when controlling for variables like employment status, age, and more. Coincidentally, researchers at GEPI believe that this could be a reason for whether a woman works part-time versus full-time. They also continued their analysis by suggesting that social infrastructure in America can be based on the 'assumption that women will be home with children'. Women have gained g…

I wasn't putting all men's problems under that term. I said 'plenty', not 'all', in my post. I reread it recently.

I will try to explain how I believe the wage gap is linked to discrimination. Women are more expected than men to take time off work to care for children or the elderly, likely due to society's enforcement of caregiving roles onto women. More time off work means that they get paid less. Speaking of caregiving roles, society often guides women into fields where they receive less pay than fields that men are encouraged to go into. Women tend to be discouraged more often than men from taking leader…

When did I say that if the world ends, women would be the most affected? If everyone dies, everyone will be affected. Your logic does not make sense to me, but I am willing to learn. Could you explain why you think the way you do about my post?

In my opinion, there is a difference between an entire group being affected versus subgroups of a different group being affected In England, evidence is needed for an emergency safety order to remove a man from the house. A detailed account only forms the core of the process, and again, evidence is needed. Immediate danger or a committed crime lets police arrest the perpetrator immediately. In Brazil, due to the hidden and often unreported nature of domestic abuse due to underreporting, social s…

What makes you believe I used AI when you are also using a checklist? I have a response to a few of these. For some, I will do further research later. Legally, men are not considered guilty until proven innocent (because of human rights). Victims of sexual assault often don't receive justice and face disbelief and skepticism in the U.S. Women are disproportionately victims of rape, and more than 90% of actual rapes go unreported. Rape is considered a violent crime Of course, men are more likely …

These policies were meant to address systemic barriers against women and to eliminate gender stereotypes and bias in schools. As for the business one, both men and women have been shown to benefit from increased women's representation in the economy. Since we are talking about policies, I'll talk about things relating to the government that are considered discriminatory to women. Loss of abortion rights + push to stop birth control tools Limitation of enforcement of the FACE Act Wage gap Remnant…

According to PubMed, men are often encouraged to show fewer emotions. Due to cultural norms and societal expectations that label vulnerability in men as weakness. Societal bias and pressure have been shown to influence the behaviours of individuals. What do you think?

Can you please provide a reliable source to support your comment? I searched online to check this, and it seems that you may be only thinking about a small group of people that supports your biases. I'm open to discussing! :)

I'm confused by this message. Misandry and misogyny contradict the textbook definition of feminism, which is striving for the sexes to be equal. Furthermore, more often than not, it has been women who have had fewer benefits than men historically and today, which is why many women are often involved in gender equality literature to try to make changes. I am not trying to diminish issues disproportionately affecting men. There are issues affecting both sexes.

I agree with you. Society conditions women and men to act in different ways, which could start with someone who is as young as an infant. This is why you see differences in how women and men act. I found further information on actual brain differences, according to PMC (speaking about brain scans between men and women). 'Once brain size is accounted for in MRI analyses, sex/gender differences are small and not reliably found across recent large studies of regional human brain volumes.'

May I please have some examples of the policies allowed by governments that entail discrimination against men? Furthermore, I'm not quite sure I follow when you say that feminism says that men deserve to be discriminated against. Plenty of feminists are against the Taliban's rule in Afghanistan, and I'm not sure if that is stating that they hate men. Feminists are also the reason why women get to vote. Plenty of feminist supporters believe that the economy is better off if both men and women can…

The definition of feminism is for genders to be equal, and I am sorry that you've encountered people who think they are feminists. (they aren't)

I mean yeah you’re not wrong I am young but still it’s kinda weird that some people talk like this. You’re not the only one who talks like this is but it’s kinda odd that talking like this is widespread, is what I mean.

Thanks for the information, I didn’t know that redpillers were a broad group of people. However I did still notice some redpillers who are in the comments of this post mention what the victim is wearing and that the victim should stay safe. Unsure if that’s victim blaming though, but the “what were you wearing” is definitely a myth in terms of rape. The victim could be wearing anything when it happens and they are often in a familiar place like their home.

I’ve noticed that some people in this community mentioned what the victim is wearing (even though they could be wearing anything) and that they could have avoided the situation According to Rain.org 48% were sleeping, or performing another activity at home 29% were traveling to and from work or school, or traveling to shop or run errands 12% were working 7% were attending school 5% were doing an unknown or other activity The Majority of Sexual Assaults Occur At or Near the Victim's Home. I’ve noticed that red pillers or some people along those lines often include things like the choices of the victim. Even though they could be wearing anything when assaulted and often times the perpetrator is someone they know and probably trust.

Is it partially someone’s fault for being manipulated? I’m not sure because manipulation/grooming is hard to sense as danger

There is an exhibit I think you would be interested in looking at regarding myths of rape. https://sbaproject.org/what-were-you-wearing/ What if they were manipulated? I’m curious what you would think about that
