Divorced but under entirely different circumstances. I will give it to you straight bruh. You were the backup plan. Don't spend anymore money on those kids, they are not yours and will never fully appreciate your efforts. Make a mindful exit, but don't cross the 10 year mark. She is only keeping it together for the next 4 years so she can get alimony and take half your shit. I'm now with a woman 11 years younger, beautiful, and we are on the same page about life and going forward. Already two ye…

Bruh, don't get a female lawyer. Getting back in bed with the enemy. Male lawyers take it way more personal for you, like a female lawyer does for her

She had a baby out of wedlock, while married to the guy she was getting a divorce from. She was saying all these stupid things about how a man should take care of the baby regardless if he is the biological father, because thats what a real man should do. I thought it was satire at first. Her original thread question was asking if she could get child support for this child that wasnt his biologically.

Yeah, i got banned from over there. This woman wanted her husband to take care of a childs she had out of wedlock. When i told her she was crazy, the whole feminist army was sending shots at me through IM, and i got downvoted into oblivion

How to move on? Book a ticket to Thailand. Thank me later.

I would say you are a logical guy and you are better off than a lot of guys here I see, still crying and making bad decisions

Definitely in aggregate, it can lower your score. But in certain cases, like mine, it increased, because I removed myself from the wifes maxed out credit cards. My score went up 40 points.

Make sure to check your state laws regarding health insurance. Here in CA, you can't remove the ex until the divorce is completely final.

My experience exactly. Life ain't fair bro, especially for men in divorce. I just worked a full day and then did Uber for 5 hours a day to keep everything paid and my credit perfect. Chances are, this is going to be lost funds for you. But guaranteed, she is racking up personal debt and she is going to default, so her credit is going to take a hit. Consolation prize for you is knowing you will come out the other end in a better position than her.

You're better off bro. 2 years post divorce, my hair growing back thicker, lost weight, and have a girlfriend 12 years younger.

Damn, ex-wife riding the dick carousel after the divorce.

...let me say this though. I got divorced and have never been happier. I don't think I lost as much as it seems like you are going to lose...but I have a Colombian girlfriend with a traditional mind, 11 years younger, and exponentially hotter than my ex wife. Don't let the trolls and the modern women convince you that all foreign women are bad....if you decide to take that route.

If she is a modern woman, with a tik Tok account, you are screwed. It's ok, you didn't need all that crap anyway: big house, two cars, debt etc.

Well someone got paid 40k for this mediation. I can only assume it was the lawyers/mediators.
/r/Divorce_Men07/06/24 08:42 PM

Bruh, you don't understand? Divorce is commercialized. It's like any other industry. The lawyers and everyone involved are going to push you to pay for their services, even if you don't need it. Just like the difference between the 8 dollar drive thru carwash vs the 15 dollar drive thru car wash. Of course they pushed that mediation on you to suck you more dry.

Yeah I get it, I have clear vision now. Everyone doesn't handle situations like me. But public service announcement guys: HER LAWYER IS COUNTING ON YOU TO BE EMOTIONAL AND NOT RATIONAL. They lose a significant amount of edge when you are calm like John Wick.

Listen, I'm not going to move inside of her building, it's just the thought was quite funny to me. There is a lot of inventory in my price range in downtown Los Angeles. I really thought it would give guys here a good laugh, and we can all joke about it, because I seemed to be one of the rare ones who emerged with victory. But everyone here is so depressed, because they got raked over the coals. So depressed they can't even recognize a joke, and want to drag everyone into their pool of depressio…

That's right bro. At the end of the day, you need to look at it this way. No amount of emotions is beneficial to any business deal.

I think the first and foremost thing is CONTROL YOUR EMOTIONS. As I have been reading some of these other posts,....and some of the guys who are posting here, there are a lot of emotional men. You need to remain clear headed, especially if your ex has lawyered up. Second thing, the family law code is FREE to read. You will have plenty time to read it, because her lawyer will drag this thing out counting on you folding for financial or emotional reasons. They will always overplay their hand and t…

When you finish shaving your legs, let me know bro. I know a couple girls who like feminine dudes. All the guys who upvoted my original comment could see I was just having fun and trying to add a bit of sunshine to this depressing subreddit. But cucked guys like you get all in your feelings.

What you are doing is called "projecting". Sorry your ex still has your heart. But my situation isnt yours. I hope you finally get over whatever woman still has your balls in a vice.

Ok listen I'm sorry, but you are assuming I'm broken, in denial, or need healing. None of that is true. I'm the happiest, healthiest, and wealthiest I've been since forever. This woman tried to ruin me and it all backfired. I think maybe your experience didn't go as well as mine, and I'm sorry for that. Let me have fun and gloat a bit.

Isn't it crazy, once you get divorced, you realize you can live in a 150 sq ft condo, with a dog, and two pairs of pants, and be completely happy.

Im still dealing with mine even after the divorce. They get really upset when you take the high road. It's difficult, I know. But when they start spazzing because they can't draw you in....it is sweet revenge.

Im in LA......my divorce is now final. I did the whole thing on my own. She had a lawyer.....pro tip; there is a program called the DSO program that is mandatory in Los Angeles. You basically get a free divorce lawyer during the negotiation phase. Bro honestly, if your case aint high-monied or complicated, you really dont need one. PM me if you want some more tips.

Book a flight to either Thailand, Philippines, Colombia, Brazil, or Dominican Republic.....depending on the preference of your little guy. You will feel like a new man, trust me.

Bro, I haven't read all the comments, but I'm sure we are all saying, she is going to take half, and fuck you over for alimony. You pretty much are going to walk out with some permanent scars. Not going to sugarcoat it. But look, really think about it, is it better to pull the plug now or later? But listen here is the problem.....you are still living in the matrix bro. You are a firefighter... Meaning you have a good respectful job, and women want to be with you for just that reason. Sell that h…

I'll bet you a trip to Thailand or the Dominican Republic will clear up these issues in your head that are planted by modern women and western society. Cheaper as well.

Yep, I was feeling the same way. 18 months later, Im confident and having a blast. You are just going through the motions. Once you come out the tunnel, the light is refreshing.

Bro, stop apologizing. The matrix still has a hold on you. Put both feet on this side, I'm telling you....it's way better over here. Once you start being confident and outspoken, you will see how everyone, man and woman respond to you.

She is about to play you.....hook, line, and sinker. That SA she told you about... guaranteed that didn't stop her from getting her guts repeatedly destroyed by randos after the divorce. After she realized that all dudes want to do is tap that, and no one is trying to wife up those used goods, she is trying to come back because she knows you are empathetic. Don't be fool bro, wake up. Western female nature is easy to see.

So, to me, you are feeling guilt that has been placed on you by the constant signals from modern women and society. They have no idea what it is to be an adult, even at 17 and 19. You have spent your time and resources to shelter and feed them. Honestly, they really just need to stfu and stay in their place. Just my two cents.
/r/Divorce_Men17/06/23 12:34 AM

Bro, you need to expand your horizons. I don't know if you travel much, but non-Western women (not the Instagram thots in different countries) are much more pleasant, feminine, and reasonable.

What is going to happen .....and this is speaking from experience.....you are going to realize how delusional women who live in the West are in general. Generally speaking, there are no real consequences for modern women and their actions. Get preggers, either there is plan B, abortion clinic, or child support. They want to destroy a marriage, they still get cashed out. Car breaks down because they run tires bald, some simp will pull over to change her flat. This leads them to think they can say…

My advice to you, as a guy on the tail end of a divorce, in a very similar situation (except we have no children), start guarding yourself immediately. Once they start going on TikTok and listening to girlfriends, they will start becoming vindictive and uncivil.

Hey buddy, I'm about a year from the separation date, and about to wrap up the divorce. I will echo the fact that the first few months you are truly lost. Hygiene went down, ate like crap, and stayed in the house all day. However, now, everything is better than it was, and it turns out she is the one having a hard time. I don't know of your professional achievements, but now I see I was worth so much more. This is not the most important thing, but now i have a phone full of messages from interes…

I am on the tail end of a divorce in California.....not really a summary dissolution. My divorce wasn't crazy, we only had to split the bills and the house (no children). But i did take out a loan, after she filed, and it had no affect because it was 100 percent my responsibility.
