Idk man, I know you seem to be okay but why antagonize her even more. At the end of the day it sounds like you came out on top which is good and I’m happy for you but if it was me I wouldn’t want to antagonize her and hope she can heal and move on successfully just like you have done. With that being said though if its like one of the only places available and we’re talking about saving a lot of money per month that changes things especially if you can live on the opposite side of her to avoid run ins.

The post and every response you’ve made in the thread reads so much like you still care. I have no desire to “stick it” to my ex wife. I couldn’t care less about what she’s doing, trying to plot some scheme, or otherwise and the fact you are is pretty sad.

If you’re not jealous and you share kids then it’s not a bad idea. Who cares if it pisses her off. I recently did something similar. My ex moved to a pretty good school district, and I imagine her plan was to fight to take our son there, so I just sold my house and moved across the street from the school. I’m 1 block away from her now when we used to be like 10 miles. She’s brought it up a few times like it did it to bother her. I did it to be closer to all my son’s stuff. If it annoys her then that’s just a bonus.

I'd absolutely avoid this at all expense. You need your own privacy. Go stay with a buddy, stranger, anything first. I stayed in my home. Ex left. I had to have lawyers explain she isn't allowed to enter. Later, I did seller her the house. She is only allowed in the driveway, or porch. I'll take action if she ever crosses the threshold to my home again.

If at all possible, I would avoid that. No need to see boyfriends/girlfriends of each other, better to avoid drama.
