Good to know as I've been thinking about (yes - thinking =/= doing) MMA on and off for a few months after having heard Rich Cooper discuss it several times... One reason I'm hesitant is that I only have 1 kidney and was instructed to avoid contact sports as a result - but maybe I could take necessary precautions and be fine. Anyway - one of the guys I tutored had experience in MMA and advised I find a place that teaches striking (which I suppose is aligned w/ your point on sparring). So, in esse…

Bruh I already got my YouTube PhD in narcissism (both pathological (grandiose v. vulnerable) and NPD & BPD w/in the Cluster-B personality disorders) and related concepts like the dark triad... I think that was enough info regarding dark psychology and power dynamics for now haha. The main thing regarding this girl that I never figured out, and don't think I can ever know, is how conscious she was of her behavior; many borderlines and narcs KNOW what they're doing when they play mind games, but o…

Good points - thanks. I dealt with a borderline/vulnerable narcissist as my first dating experience (met her at daily Mass - yay) and so I've been somewhat wary of my ability to gauge women's natural drama / over-emotionality. And for those who think I'm exaggerating by calling her that (and these are just some of the highlights): - She wrote in an email after things had ended between us: "Maybe you’re right. Maybe I’m not honest very often. Maybe I do have BPD tendencies ... But I am very certa…

Ha - not a lawyer yet but have gotten similar remarks in the past. God help my soul. You're totally right about the young women being out there; I need to start stepping out (and up) more within these communities... Since college, I've tried with numerous young adult groups in which the guys have generally been as you've described, but I haven't gone the next step and taken the lead. I've just bailed. Pretty obvious to make my own thing now that I think about it... I did Exodus 90 back in 2020 a…

Wow - this was super helpful (especially given that I'm a Catholic w/ a stereotypically poor grounding in Scripture)... I'll need to come back and read through this more thoroughly.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
