We want you to realize that you simply do not have the perspective or lived experiences to understand the problems men face. We know you don't have a "magic spell" or whatever. The best takeaway from all of these threads is for you to walk away thinking "I don't know what it's like to be a man and I am not in a position to tell them what to do."

I'm just a shittier version of a woman, I guess. I'm here struggling with such immature things while paragons of virtue strut around scoffing at my untenable insecurities and lived experiences.

My bad for feeling like shit for being treated like a sub-human. I guess it's easy for you to say that when you just assume I'm some "indiscriminate horndog".

Some of you ladies wouldn't last 48 hours as a man without going into some sort of psychosis istg. You really have no idea what it is like to be guilty until proven innocent and everyone putting up their cold, impersonal shields hoping you fuck off because they are scared of you. Like, you truly have no idea what sort of privilege you hold as a woman when you decide to engage with any sort of social situation.

This is all highly optimized rage bait for the sole purpose of engagement. Women want men and men want women. IDC about your traumas on the matter.

I think the thing not clicking for everyone is why do we have to try so hard to meet each other? I highly doubt my great grandpa was min/maxing his fucking hobbies to meet his wife at 17 years old.

People absolutely care about your level of sexual activity. It's not only important to the man; it's important to everyone else. We (both men and women) place immense value in a man's ability to induce lust in women. You might as well be subhuman if you can't. This dysfunction in men didn't spawn in randomly.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/26 01:46 PM

A man's sexual prowess is praised by both men and women. A woman's purity is praised by both men and women. Double standards exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/26 01:38 PM

You're blaming the man for being offended by the insult. The other replies to your comment are right: you would not use a racial slur and then justify it by saying "it works so it's ok". The fact you so quickly dismiss men's lived experience of shame means you simply don't care about how other people feel. I'm sure you would be quick to jump to the defense of a woman being shamed for being childless.

The default feeling I have towards every woman is that she is not sexually interested in me. It's very rare to encounter one who is. There is also an oppressive amount of shame both internal and external about it. I simply do not pursue women with any amount of effort. She has to make it extremely obvious to me for that kind of machinery to start working within me because there is only so much failure you can tolerate before you adapt

Being in a position to indulge in casual sex is the rite of passage for men because it proves they've acquired the ultimate proof of their worth: female lust. We live in an incredibly dysfunctional society where such a thing can exist. I do not think what you describe is an innate feature of men, but one artificially induced by societal shaming.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/26 10:42 PM
2

Thank you for your reasonable take. People who feel shame for being a virgin and those who use it as an insult have simply bought into the cultural idea that only a woman's lust can prove a man's worth. It's incredibly dysfunctional, especially in raising actually effective and attractive men.

The latter guy is primarily motivated by the shame of being sexually unsuccessful. It didn't manifest out of nothing: it came from his social environment.

Once you realize the hypocrisy I stated, you lose interest in pursuing those kinds of women. If you have a problem with that, you're gonna have to criticize the women that lie to themselves about being happily single whom have similar gripes with men. Men are allowed to bitch and complain much like those women. Besides, you're basically admitting that women are quasi-prostitutes with different rates for different men. You're implying that love isn't actually real. You're advocating for a strateg…

The rite of passage for boys to become men is how much female lust they can induce. It's sad but literally everyone has adopted this standard for men and it is deeply baked in our culture, language and relationships. Men have a very good reason to be obsessed with women as there is an oppressive amount of shame of not being up-to-code. You have to be incredibly self-aware and secure in yourself in order to move past this. Most people's solutions is to simply be attractive to women since the form…

Many men are miffed at the reality that women throw themselves at men who treat them horribly while simultaneously saying things very similar to your OP. You're basically saying that you should financially invest in a woman who would fuck someone else in a shitty car in a sketchy bar parking lot.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 12:12 AM

Most of what you see is them giving up, not comfort lol. When we appreciate men for their accomplishments, it's because we try to not trap them like we're trap ourselves, we evaluate will rather than genetics, This is extremely tone deaf in this era, where men feel like all women care about is genetics.

mega truth nuke. I would even extend your point to say that previous avenues to meet women are now poisoned in a similar way. Being a lone single man at a concert/event/bar/etc is a massive hurdle to overcome if you want to meet people, particularly women.

You're technically right on all counts. From some guy's perspective, what he sees on social media might as well be "one person" (it obviously isn't). It might as well be one insane woman on his phone gaslighting him. It's going to affect the victim in the exact same way. So I guess in this situation it isn't gaslighting? IDK I don't really care about the semantics but I didn't know about the goomba fallacy that's very relevant in today's age.

Women are not very good at advising men on how to attract women. Women are very good at knowing whether or not someone is attractive. Those are two very different things.

The sentiment 100% changed from "Looks don't matter just be nice" to "Obviously you need to look good you're not entitled to anything just for being nice". That's gaslighting.

Of course I have no right to tell anybody what they should want, but I find it to be very strange. If I met a woman that I loved a lot and wanted to marry, why wouldn't I want kids with her? It just doesn't make sense to me. I would definitely want to have kids with the woman that I love. My honest take on the matter is that there is a ton of baggage and trauma around the topic. It is quite insane how much pressure is placed on women to have kids, especially in a time where meeting the right man…

When you grow up in this and it's all you know it's kinda hard not to just "self-induce" it. You're gonna have to hit a certain bitterness threshold before you start to challenge it within yourself. Although I think we agree in general, just wanted to make this point.

I think if both parties go into this with very reasonable expectations then yes I think it would be very therapeutic. If the men are respectful of boundaries then what's the harm? I personally think it's rare for a man in such a situation to be the sort of dorky respectful guy that a woman would be willing to shack up with. Desperation for men to get a sexual conquest is too high for this to work publicly advertised, tbh. It's a shame. It only takes a few bad apples to spoil the whole thing.

I, as a veteran internet boy, know exactly what kind of person you are. I've dealt with people like you often. You're not here to be a savior, you're here to punch down. You're here hoping that those you resent prostrate themselves to you for whatever gratification you get out of it. And trust me, many men are very well aware of people like you. You can start with working through your toxic beliefs that male virginity is intrinsically bad, to start.

If I was a well-adjusted person with my needs met I wouldn't come here. Neither would you. Don't think you have anything over me or anyone else you choose to argue with. You can assume whatever you want about me, just don't think you're any better. And besides, what is wrong with not touching a woman? Why lash out at me with the toxic idea that not touching a woman is a bad quality? Are you some sort of object I need to conquer to prove myself?

It's honestly disgusting how accepted this level of emotional abuse is. If that man does thoroughly prostrate himself to every dumbass giving him "advice" or accept whatever knee-jerk assumption of himself from others he will basically be pariahed.

Women have an awful capacity to empathize with this. I wish it was different, but she simply has no life experience that she can use to relate. They truly have nothing they can use to empathize with having ZERO prospects for extended periods of time. They just cant.

I do agree with you that emotionally stable, well-adjusted women absolutely want nothing to do with those types of men. I think many men here would say that they have lost trust in what women actually say regarding what they prefer in a sexual partner because they feel routinely betrayed and intentionally misled in their lived experience. There are definitely men who will read what you write and simply dismiss it thinking you're just saying what you wish was true for yourself, and the truth is a…

That is literally what I am accusing you of. My point the entire time was: Bad male behavior is not correlated with sexual failure. You then made the claim of Bad male behavior is correlated with poor choice of mates. That is a different claim. Me agreeing with and entirely different claim is not moving goal posts. I don't care. The point is that it's just false to say that bad male behavior leads to female sexual disapproval. They simply are not as correlated as we'd all thought it was and the belief in it is toxic for all parties.

Oh okay you're also as traumatized and resentful as the rest of us. Honestly I'm willing to have a heart-to-heart with you in order to figure out where we both are truly coming from, because it is painfully obvious that our assumptions about relationships are just completely different.

Yeah I've been an internet boy for a very long time and let me tell you the whole "I'm actually super happy and well-adjusted yet I spend my free time arguing with a niche group of emotionally hurt and resentful individuals online" angle isn't gonna convince anybody. Your princess attitude towards courtship is anachronistic and being cast aside for something better for both parties.

This is precisely it. I'd like to also add that the western world's rite of passage for boys to become men is primarily how sexually attractive you are to women, which is creating a ton of dysfunctional men. Most manosphere content is a lashing out at this absurd rite of passage and the oppressive amounts of gaslighting and unreasonable demands placed on men.

This is some trad larp nonsense. As nice as the idea of being a provider for women feels, doing that for some random you just met is cringe. Not to mention that there are plenty of women that weaponize this masculine ideal for their own selfish gain, you need to make her pay for her own shit and prove to you that she's worth providing for.

I really don't buy into this whole "Women can do just fine without men" nonsense that is paraded around. It's pure copium. The only ones who have any right to say that are people with a history of abusive partners and that's rooted in trauma.

I don't think many people are ready for the discussion on how warped women's minds have become from short-form content and the serious implications it has for dating. We've certainly explored that for men, though.

Men and women are in a deadlock. If men were consistently approaching and asking women out in the proper way despite women's current apprehension about it then over time we will see women being far more receptive to men because she knows that there will not be bad outcomes. This would cause women to become more warm and open to men, who will feel less lonely. However, asking men, especially developmentally stunted men, to be prodigal socialites/flirts with infinite patience and zero ego for exte…

A lot of men feel like romance and sex are just not for them. Like, they aren't allowed to. They aren't real men, they aren't sexual beings. Women will never see them as sexual beings and will never desire them. They feel completely and unequivocally excluded from this fundamental human experience. This, as you can imagine, is a breeding ground for resentment and very toxic ideas. I don't expect women to do anything in particular. I think truly understanding each other is the necessary step to make things better for everyone. This goes for men and women. To answer your question: really try your best to understand the male perspective. I say this for men too: truly try to understand the female perspective. There's a lot of valuable information on the other side.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 05:00 AM

You have the perspective of a woman where you do have options, they just aren't what you want. Imagine actually having 0, truly 0. Not just 0 in your preference, but 0 in total.

Yeah it's tough, thank you for understanding. I think there are a lot of factors that make the whole process artificially difficult, but nonetheless serve to induce misery for both parties despite them wanting the same outcomes.

The problem I'm having here is that I genuinely agree with their core problems. Like, I really am acknowledging that after awhile it wouldn't be all that it's cracked up to be. But they just have such a difficult time even beginning to understand what it is like to be invisible. They refuse to even come halfway and acknowledge anything about it. It's so frustrating.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 08:02 PM

I can imagine the immense amount of dread they would feel upon realizing they cant go back.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 07:54 PM

Yeah I do mean that. People are online way too much and think dating apps or social media is a good replacement. It is not. It severely limits how many eligible partners you will meet. You have to be a social butterfly for awhile and make a hundred different connections to increase how many eligible partners you will encounter.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 07:50 PM

I agree with this sentiment. The main bottleneck for men is exposure to eligible women. The throughput of eligible women in a man's life is at an all-time low.

You know most men would read this and be insulted that you think being invisible is a privilege. Like, men in general try very hard to be seen and build attraction where failure is the norm and you're supposed to put up with it. But you see their experiences, their default, as some fun vacation from your norm of attracting attention, the very thing that they work so hard to get even a crumb of. A lot of guys are desperate enough for any sort of validation so yes that is what guys would want. Maybe after they get their fill they would get sick of it but right now yes. I don't think you understand just how devoid of validation men truly are. Not to mention that a man's social status revolves around how much female lust he can illicit, so I'm pretty sure he would be elated to get such attention.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 07:11 PM

I think men (myself included ofc) feel like we're only worthwhile for utilitarian reasons and being someone that others want to use to get off sexually would be seen as validating and reassuring that we have value. So we apply that to women, who have a different idea of what self-worth looks like and thus this disconnect is born.

Real shit. I think people truly underestimate just how much of a burden decades of rejection truly are. Most of the misandrists on this sub have worldviews and self-esteem that is wholly dependent on the sort of men they dunk on to exist and fail for the reasons they want them to.

Little boys grow up to be men. And yes, people have said that to us. You don't get to tell me what the lived experiences of myself and other men I know was like. No one would seriously argue that they are owed sex just for being nice. They will resent the general messaging and conditioning that led them to neuter themselves believing that's what women desired.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 08:40 PM

Most people's success metric is forming a strong romantic and sexual monogamous relationship, not how much casual sex you have. Even in relationships, being just nice and a provider is incredibly inefficient when it comes to anything woman related. It's simply not seen as sexually attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 08:21 PM

As a millennial I can definitely say the general message to boys was basically be nice and a provider if they wanted success with women. But you won't believe my lived experiences and continue on your misandrist rampage.

Many people are unaware of how often they use a woman's sexual taste as a heuristic to judge the moral character of men. I encourage you to keep this in mind whenever you see some guy getting ripped to shreds because he made the mistake of showing frustration or sadness about his lack of success. You'll see the same theme of how bad the guy must be.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 08:01 PM

Depends what their standards are. Like obviously don't date who you aren't attracted to but there truly are women who have such a warped screen-addicted idea of who they find attractive that they would benefit from being called out on it. Its toxic positivity to entertain such a person.

Guys are not gonna fall for this kinda platitude again. Idk what it is with women and their proclivity to make men sabotage themselves but no one believes women when they say shit like they wanna date their gay best friend because it's just so wrong

This is not my experience lol. Women are very prone to lashing out if their dating strategy is criticized. That is, if you are even allowed to do that in the first place. Most people interpret criticizing a woman as misogyny and will jump to the woman's defense.

The vast majority of content creators, even pornographic ones, make fuck all; even if they are women. Women do have to do something with their lives to get anywhere, but they realize that way later in life.

The race analogy where women just wait at the finish line is highlighting the fact that women aren't engaged in their own race, their own pursuits and life. They just sit around waiting for guys to finish. Don't you think the whole "race" would confer a lot of maturity, skills and perspectives that would be considered beneficial and attractive? I'm fine with agreeing to this. It's actually spot on. There is a perverted sense of comfort from embracing that what you want is actually impossible, which allows someone to deny responsibility for making change and taking risk. This is certainly a problem with men online.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 05:53 AM

As a man who has put significant energy and effort into meeting people IRL and taking up new hobbies and generally trying to be a socialite, this is simply not my experience at all. There is a distinct lack of women and if there are women, they are on the older side (god bless them).
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 03:52 AM

I would be curious about the age range of this. I regularly go to latin dance classes and events and the average age of women there is prob like 45 and men outnumber women quite substantially. I'm well aware of the common talking point that women are overwhelming out dancing but in my experience, as someone that has taken latin dance seriously for quite awhile now, that is simply not true.

It takes a few hours for a woman to get triple digit likes from an app, they really don't need to stay on the app for long to get their fix. Porn addicted men are not delusional when it comes to what sort of women he can attract or get with. He would not say "Yeah, I'm kinda a stud lol" he would likely feel shame and self-loathing.

I could say the same thing but in reverse. What men experience with online dating is a direct result of how women use online dating. I don't really care who is the "first mover" when it comes to who made it suck. I only care about current outcomes. And the outcome I care about is that men become more motivated to get off the apps, while women are still deluded on what they can get from it. This means women are less motivated to change and actually do things IRL, perfectly content to sit at home …

No idea what you're saying. People think women have a ton of options online, but they don't. It's a lie. They simply have easy access to a pool of desperate or entitled men.

Those men would have an overwhelmingly negative experience if asked about finding romance online. I would guarantee that no guy constantly gaming or looking at pornography is going to say "yeah, this is a good use of my time i'll find my special someone soon." Chronic users of the apps are men and spend far more time on them. Women can just go in-and-out within a few weeks max (if not days), which skews the statistics on concurrent users. This does not also consider social media usage as a whole. I highly doubt that is overwhelmingly male.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 03:10 AM

Yes exactly. The sort of men who subject themselves to dating apps are going to fit in the same few categories. Women don't actually have that many options online, they just have the same few options in high quantities. Like, why would a man subject himself to a dating app unless he's absolutely desperate, unhinged or has the "privilege" of being attractive enough to basically use it as Uber Eats but for sex. Seriously, why would any man subject himself to this? This is why men abandon the idea …

I won't discount the negative experiences you've had on the internet. My main point is that the positive experiences women have are based on lies and it takes women way longer to be disillusioned with the internet than it does for men. This doesn't make women immune to negative experiences, it simply gives them easy access to toxic positivity affirmations or cheap male attention (neither of which is good for you). I'm highlighting that fact, and also the fact that men do not have access to that,…

I think we all just need to accept that what we find sexually attractive is dependent on what helps us win in times of crisis. This also includes social skills, as that is arguably one of the most high impact traits in a time of crisis. The qualities that make you thrive in civilization are secondary at best. Like being a good citizen or whatever is never a sexy thing. Being a bad citizen is a negative for sure, but if you have sexy qualities it is overlooked. This is just how it is. Also, as ea…

You would do the same if you had the same amount of prospects in your life. There are a non-trivial amount of men who are hitched with women they have issues with because they think that's just the best they can get. Unless you have actively tried to date and got absolutely 0 prospects you will never understand. Not that I expect you to.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 12:54 AM

This wont get them dates. Women tend to think that a man's problem is what they do during a date. What you ladies fail to consider is that men have trouble getting the date in the first place. Hell, they have trouble getting you to actually acknowledge they exist. What you're saying, as well-intended as it is, is useless to the vast majority of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 12:52 AM

Don't expect women to sympathize with the pure dread that comes from being utterly defeated and seeing the spoils go to the victorious. Hell, don't expect men to sympathize either; they will just see your post as a sign of weakness and an opportunity for them to place themselves above you. The only thing you can do is refine your strengths and minimize your weaknesses. That's it. Do not expect women to change what they are sexually attracted to. It's rarely the fantasy itself but the implications of what makes the fantasy valid. For women regarding CNC, it's that the woman is irresistable and the man cannot help himself. For men regarding young women (emphasis on woman, not girl), the fantasy is being desired by a woman who has the most options she'll ever have and choosing you. It's better to read between lines regarding these things.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/25 03:34 PM

There are far less ways for men to prove themselves. Everyone is on the screen and if you cannot impress someone given the 50ms window you get then you're useless. This is why physical attractiveness is so overvalued. An unproven man is unattractive, and many men are unproven. The frustration comes from very few avenues to show what you offer as a man. Consider the job market, dating apps and the attention economy of social media platforms. It is incredibly competitive. One might say women have …

I'm sure this maybe is somewhat helpful but this would ultimately be a waste of time for men who actually struggle. The most common problem for lonely, struggling men are two things: Little to no mixed gender social groups with single women around their age bracket. Most men simply cannot compete in the artificially difficult world of dating apps and/or social media, so their presence on those is a waste of time. No opportunity to prove themselves to their peers. The most attractive man is what …

I'll be sure to remind you to not twist yourself in a knot if a man ever says he's just not ready for a relationship after a week of intense romance and sex. You're never allowed to read between the lines ever again and you MUST take everything said to you at face value.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 10:21 PM

The implication is that she doesn't find the man sexually attractive like the men she fooled around with when she was younger. So when she says something around the lines of "You're not like those kind of guys", she's saying "You're not as attractive as those guys". It might come as a surprise to you, but us men also want to be sexually desired.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 10:14 PM

The only useful and honest answer to this question is that men have lost easy ways to prove themselves. An unproven man is worthless, and since all our attentions are on the screen unless you're top 0.00001% at something you wont show up on the screen and thus no one cares about you. Really, this is the crux of the problem. Any deterioration from a man's repeated failings stem from a drought of ways a man can prove himself to his community. I don't expect women to empathize with this.

I like this point. I would argue the deepest resentment that men who grew up in that era have is realizing that there are exceptions to this script. If you tick the required boxes, you're allowed to act differently with women. Most rage from manosphere adjacent groups stems from that and women have a very hard time empathizing with it; and honestly I don't blame them. It's not a lived experienced for them.

He didn't say anything about all women being bad. That is simply a pretend argument that you find convenient to dunk on.

In terms of what I think the fundamental problem is, I would assume he agrees with me. I would also agree with how loose-goosey people are with recommending therapy. Like it isn't the magic potion people seem to imply it is, especially for men's issues. As for the what I think the solution to all of this is; it's not so straight forward. I think the next step is acknowledging the truth of the situation and going from there. Men have been conditioned since day 0 that their value stems from how mu…

When the content you consume consists of a carefully curated collection of expertly made rage bait of women lusting over dark triad men or a highlight reel of perfectly average men being denigrated and humiliated by both men and women or how the reflexive instinct to make a man feel bad involves how undesirable he is to women it is no surprise that a boy, who is wholly reliant on those around him to understand what is good/bad, leaves adolescence with the imperative that he must be desirable to …

It's very easy to be convinced that media is simply showing a woman's true feelings. So when you see masterclass rage bait content it's easy to think "Oh, so that's how they really feel about me. The women I talk to IRL are just being nice but in secret these are their true colors.". There is no reason to expect a 15 year old boy to have the wisdom to understand this. Now think about that boy when he's 25; at best he'll be doing the work to undo the damage. Therapy is great and all. I'm not argu…

Thank you for sharing. I think you truly understand the fundamental essence of this problem and it's relieving to see it under a different context.

Because I had sex and it didn't solve anything.

It's the media, both fiction and otherwise, that I have consumed. It's rarely women in-the-flesh. My brain interprets both as having the same weight. Guess which one we tend to be exposed to more on a daily basis? Quite the problem for everybody regardless of sex 😔

It's because they perceive whatever you're saying as a ploy to get them to remain invisible and stop talking about it. They see it as a threat to their message, which is undoubtedly making waves and cultural change. They hope to change the environment to be more conducive to them; as if it is a zero sum game with winners and losers. I'd also rip into disingenuous women who call themselves "feminists" (overloaded term that means nothing now) who do something similar. They basically interpret what…

As a man I can safely say that a large chunk of shame that I have experienced on the matter originated from women.

Manosphere talking heads also reaffirm the idea that a woman's desire is the only worthwhile heuristic of value. This is beyond political/cultural factions: it's entrenched in every corner.

I agree. I would extend your point by saying a neurotic preoccupation with what woman desire in a man is mal-adaptive by crippling your ability to socialize and initiate productive energy towards anything worthwhile. This is quite evident with how much energy these sorts of men spend theorizing, lamenting and avoiding the world at large. I would say that it drastically lowers one's chance to spread their genes. So it only makes sense that men challenge the toxic idea that a woman's lust = their …

The emotional damage a woman can inflict on a man is microscopic compared to the emotional damage a man does to himself. The problem is the part of your brain that consistently harms itself when confronted with certain stimuli. It is not the stimuli itself, it is your reaction to it and conclusions that you derive from it. Those need to be challenged. Even if you suddenly became a stud you will still have the same problem: except now you're constantly compelled to fuel the insecurity through mor…

I hope so. Whether it's through a therapist or otherwise is up to them. I am acutely aware that this is a male problem and that only men can resolve it. It is not a woman's problem, even if certain women perpetuate it (obv men do it too). It is up to men to discard useless toxic ideas.

We're in an unprecedented civilizational flux with so many factors flipped and we're all trying to piece together a new culture to help us thrive in this strange new world. We're all flinging shit at the wall and seeing what sticks and we can see in real time all the shit flung which did not stick. One of the casualties of this flux is a man's role and value he provides. I think that has been mutated and challenged so much that we're now in this really toxic, yet implicit idea that a woman's lus…

Most people don't even know that this is their problem, so how can you resolve a problem you don't even know exists. They think the problem is lack of sex, they will attempt to solve a problem that has nothing to do with the true illness. It's a bit of a meme that therapists are some omniscient wise people that know exactly what your problem is. I doubt they'll be able to identify the true problem in a man.

This is a very colorful but accurate way of seeing how these sorts of men see the situation. I unfortunately was one, so I know.

That is very kind of you. It took a lot of false paths and red herrings to finally come to this realization and it is a powerful one that I wanted to share with others. It's annoying to see people bicker about non-issues.

The solution is to decouple the idea that a woman's lust is what fundamentally creates value in you as a man. As ridiculous of a statement that may be to you, it is how many men think. It's from cultural conditioning. So yes, they should look to other sources. But they need to challenge this fundamental problem before other sources can derive any sense of value in oneself.

Yeah it's pretty bad, but it is unfortunately a pattern you'll see in some men. It's up to men to figure it out and we need to directly confront the fundamental problem rather than all these stupid red herrings like the black pill and etc.

Of course the play for any man is to dismantle the idea that a woman's lust is a pre-requisite for being a valued member of society. I agree with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 04:58 PM

I would be very curious to see you make a thread about what you find attractive about men.

I 100% agree except I do not think the problem is the puritanical/slut shaming culture, but our terminally online and isolating culture. It's VERY easy to just sit at home all day and never interact with a single person. The friction to socialize, especially starting off from zero, is quite high.

You can flourish in a microcosm. This is the main appeal to video games: it gives boys an outlet to excel even if it's in a 10 man MOBA game with 0 female spectators. You can even flourish in some niche activity like DnD with a mixed gender group. The problem is that it's now a luxury to be in any of these environments with dating prospects. Most people are just participating in a global arena either socially or economically, which creates this winner-take-all mentality. The fact that you percei…

You're supposed to prove that you have the chops to flourish in the environment you're in, whatever that may be. The problem is that most people's environments are winner-take-all online spaces and late stage capitalism, so it's very competitive.

I think women have a much higher threshold for physical attraction for men they know little about because ultimately what women find attractive is what I like to call a "Proven Man". This is a man who has proved that he has the chops to flourish in whatever environment you're both in. I've experienced this a good number of times in various social circles/hobbies/work. There will be a woman whom at first feels neutral towards me but over time she will start to see me in a more sexual light becaus…
