Grad school. They're usually mid to late 20s (although I started in my late 30s) and are usually pretty serious about their futures.

I broke it off with a tall handsome surgeon after 3 dates because he never once made me laugh. Then I got into a relationship with a short guy who paints the lines on roads for a living who made me laugh. The first guy was a chore to date and drained my energy. The second was vivacious and fun.

Ugh. I know this. Near the end of our marriage my ex-husband couldn't keep a job. I was working 3 to keep us afloat. After work I'd come home and hear "you need to walk the dog, she pooped on the carpet and you need to clean it up", "I drank all the milk so you need to go buy more", "I'm hungry, fix dinner now", "You need to take out the trash", "there are no clean dishes, you need to wash them". And on and on. I recall sorting through the mail and getting bills out and he said "we wouldn't have…

I had a guy explain to me on a first date how he could build me a shelter, hunt and process meat, and then how he could knit me a sweater. He was an older guy who trained Marines to do hostage extraction and rappel out of helicopters onto moving ships, so he was a professional badass. I really appreciated that not only could he knit, but that he was comfortable enough to tell me about it when we first met. That's the kind of guy who would be useful after the apocalypse.

Yes, I also have a Date Safety Officer- a trusted and reliable female friend who had all the info on the guy and what we doing for our date and who would wait up for me to call with an OK.

Agree that personality is key. I'm mid-40s and a year ago started dating a guy who was my height 5 ft 4, and he had a dad-bod. I knew him from around the office, but actually met him on Tinder. He caught my attention by treating me with respect. I decided to take a chance, and he turned out to be one of the most amazing men I've ever met. He was good to me and incredibly funny. I laughed a lot. He told great stories. Unfortunately the timing was bad and I was already starting a major move across…

And it isn't jus the original cost of the robot. These things won't heal after abuse like a woman will. They will need repair, cleaning, oiling, etc. Since they aren't working jobs the guy will have to buy all her clothes. I don't think any of these robots currently are sophisticated enough to dress themselves, do their hair, or even walk around on their own. The guy will have to do all that himself. I imagine that most of these sex robots will just lay permanently on the bed looking like a mess…

I would have left my abusive ex years ago if I had the money. He kept me broke all the time and ran up a lot of debt in my name to keep me under his control.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
