I don't think thats true for crime in general, I recall most crime being done by men towards men, but I know women being more violent is true for relationships. Someone once showed me studies showing how boys score the highest in boy-only schools, followed by girls in both mixed and girl-only schools scoring more or less the same, with boys in mixed schools scoring the lowest.
