Fuck, I’m going to stop emailing my attorney. This is a waking nightmare. I paid 5k and mediation is in a month. At this point I’m wishing my wife and I would’ve gone to mediation.

I’ve been in a tumultuous relationship that really began it’s downfall late last year. Since then I’ve been focusing on health and fitness more than I ever have in my whole life and it’s paying off. Women I would never have imagined paying me the time of day have been giving me attention. Removing the toxic element and finally focusing on myself and utilizing my finances (I’m very frugal) has been a major game changer.

Hmm, I’m in the opposite position. I’ve been stay at home dad who just started going back to work in the last 8 months. Wife finally got her six figure job and decided she doesn’t need me anymore. This wasn’t before she assaulted me in front of our child and got arrested bringing CPS into our life. Waiting on court for next week.

No she is the one having affair. She has a mountain of debt from student loans but has been breadwinner in family. I’m just trying to take care of our son while she is in the honeymoon phase of this relationship.

Texan here. Wife just got big six figure job for first time and I’ve only worked part time barely since our son was born. I’ve been the stay at home dad and now she wants 50/50 and for us to separate finances. I was blindsided by her affair and intent to kick me to the curb and start dating fellow six figure coworker. Considering lawyering up and asking for help because she’s paid all the bills last couple years while I maintained household/done bulk of childcare. Any input greatly appreciated.

My wife is the breadwinner and I’ve been pretty much a stay at home dad. She just told me a month ago she is leaving me for her coworker who makes six figures. She just got six figure job too and wants me to just move out and do 50/50. As a man in Texas I feel there’s not much I can do and have to figure this out. I’ve done part time work since my three year old was born but I don’t have a career per se.

Can you diagnose my wife? Two weeks ago she announced she is dating a coworker and I have to move out. She has had him over in bed and takes him on playmates with our son and his two kids. She made a social media post on IG of her smiling with her head next to his and got an AirBnB to stay with him while I watched our son. She has said she might be BPD.

I’m less than a week into it and still haven’t met with a lawyer. In Texas my wife has already contacted landlord to evict me. This forum has been so helpful and I’m grateful for you all.

I don’t mean to piggyback off this but my wife of four years is seeing a coworker now and wants a divorce. She just got hired for a 6 figure job after years of hard work and grad school while I pretty much raised our toddler. I have a part time gig on the weekends but not the career she has. Apparently that’s factored into her wanting to leave me. She’s willing to mediate but doesn’t want to give any alimony. Should I just get a lawyer now and skip mediation? Oh, we’re in Texas.
