This is the one time I actually smirked at clickbait. Well played.

I'm sorry if you've never met an awesome, hot, young girl and felt excited to get together and bone. If it doesn't work out, then so be it. I'm prepared to move on like always. By the way, don't do this shit. Other subs stalk people into the places they post on reddit (here, for example.) Is there anything more "beta" than devoting all this time out of your day to digging up shit on some guy you don't know that isn't even fucking with you?

Tragedy of the commons. We want everyone else to get married. We don't want to get married ourselves.

I'm still not thinking of taking that plunge any time soon, nor have I met anyone I'd really want to consider it with. But I'm curious how old everybody is. When you're 40 and you've been sleeping around and partying and living the good life for 15 years, eventually it does return diminishing value. You do start to wonder more and more if a real relationship would be more satisfying than fucking yet another rando. If I extrapolate the rate at which this curiosity is growing, then in another five…

That is a very strange condition and it makes me feel that she's insecure and likely to feel bad about this afterward. Why on earth would she want to stipulate "OK, but we have to fuck an ugly chick"? I wouldn't even entertain this if the goal isn't to get someone as attractive as possible.

This guy has made several of these alarming posts in this sub. He's giving off all sorts of red flags. Fucker's gonna shoot up a sorority house, and then some media shitheel is going to find his reddit account and run a story about how "he was a frequent poster at so-called 'red-pill' forums."

Thank you. We will put this proto Cho Seung Hui / Elliot Roger in his place and condemn these thoughts. He'll go on a rampage and shoot up a sorority house. Then some media fucks will find his reddit account and report how he "was a frequent poster on so called 'red pill' message boards."

Who cares what other people do that makes them happy? It honestly bothers you that some people want to swing? Don't tell me that there are so many swingers/poly people in the world that you literally can't find a monogamous wife if that's what you're looking for. 2nd level victory: capitalize on that shit. Be the guy that all those "open marriage" women are fucking on the side.

You haven't torched the whole thing. It's perfectly fine (and even helpful) to occasionally show flashes of emotion and attachment. You have the right instinct here to rein it in and dole it out at certain intervals. Next time you get the chance to bring up the letter, let her know that something that you saw that day reminded you specifically of her in a profound way, so it doesn't seem like she's just overwhelming your mind because you can't stand to be without her.

It's weirdly anti-woman. I'd like to see them call the women I date "damaged" to their faces. Go on, explain to her why she's clearly emotionally unstable and has severe psychological issues.

It's not just that there's something cultural about America that celebrates "beautiful at any size" more than other nations; there's a practical reason for it. Women place some value on attracting men, and some value on eating whatever they want and not exercising. The degree to which parking it on the couch with a chocolate cake feels good is pretty static, but the value that they place on getting a good man shifts greatly based on their economic need. In America it's very easy for any woman to…

So... if you want to be happy for the rest of your life, better make an ugly girl your wife? Yeah, no thanks. You go ahead, though.

I wouldn't call these shit tests. Certainly your mother isn't giving you a shit test. A shit test is more subtle, when a girl who is otherwise attracted/interested is trying to probe you to figure out if you're alpha or not. A shit test would be "Hey, would you take a day off of exercising to come to the mall with me and hold my bag while I try on clothes?" Calling what this girl said a shit test is like calling "I hope you die in a fire you ugly bitch" a neg.

There were two of them, and they're both married to the women. Both betas that I helped out. One I literally introduced to his wife, the other I took under my wing and taught game to, which he was happy to use to meet his wife. Both times the wife was afraid I was a bad influence and that I'd get them tempted to club and meet girls and cheat, so they tucked tail and made up excuses not to hang. One of them, the same one I taught game to, even justified it, hamstering up that I was a womanizer an…

lol, this sub. That's a great way to offend the friend and never see him again. I have lost five year best friends before once they got into relationships and were forced, even in the slightest, to feel like they were picking between me and her. You're his "bro," but she's the one fucking him at night. You WILL lose that competition, unless he's alpha and confident as fuck and prepared to replace her in a heartbeat (unlikely if he's dating a fat, boring, busybody.)

Slight adjustment I'd offer - don't use the word "leave" or any of its variants. Girls feel real cheap and used if they are blatantly getting tossed after sex. When I want a girl gone, I say "I need to get to bed soon." That's never failed to work for me.

A lot of guys do it to get the woman in the first place. It's not everything, but it sure doesn't hurt. BB still do get some sex, especially early on in the relationship, when she's trying to get commitment.

If it makes him feel any better, she could have done the same thing at any time. It's not like he was a particular sucker for selling. If she had left the week before, she could have claimed 1/2 of the value of the company. In fact, some companies that guys have built from nothing and take pride in running end up having to be sold to settle divorces. Opportunistic investors will lowball once they figure this out, knowing that the owner has to take some offer. So at least the woman waited until h…

But then you've raised your SMV, and you're once again confronted with the same conundrum, except with slightly hotter girls. If you follow this to it's extreme conclusion, eventually you will be choosing between having the hottest non-famous woman on earth desperately begging you to love her, vs literally dating Natalie Portman or Scarlett Johannson. And there is no man on the planet that those two will ever beg to love them.

The problem with that article is that it doesn't acknowledge the inherent tradeoff between enthusiasm and quality. I don't care who you are; unless you are literally a movie star or professional athlete, there is some echelon of women who will just tolerate you and fuck you a few times before moving on. Everyone has to make this call. Would you rather have an 8 who adores you, or a 10 who is lukewarm to you?

One thing you'll most definitely want to avoid is being at all defensive about your income, or overly eager to discuss how you're going to make more money once you get your career going. This sub gets a lot of irrational hate for being misogynistic. Let's take a moment to look at this same story from your wife's perspective. She was bored, married to a man she wasn't attracted to, probably daydreaming about a life she could have had, and dutifully putting out sex as rarely as she had to in order to not let her husband go nuts and embarrass her by getting caught with a prostitute. Her husband finds the red pill and swallows it. Now she's fulfilled, excited, and lusting after her …

This works in the real world, not on college campuses. You can't clam up and ride it out. The college can and will arbitrarily expel you for "looking guilty" by hiding behind a lawyer. Normally I'd agree with you, but in this case you have you go loud and go hard with the truth.

What messages are you using? A few years ago, common canned openers from popular PUA books usually slipped under the radar. Nowadays women are on the lookout for "Do you floss before or after you brush?" and the like, so you'll have to be more original. In fact, I don't even use negs at all anymore except on absolute 10s who are already showing that they have a ball-busting sense of humor. I still use online a lot, to good success.

It's hard to explain exactly, but one thing that helped me when I found out about something similar many years ago was to visualize the body as a clinical, physical object, divorced from the mind. You have hands, lungs, kidneys, and genitals. You are a brain. Something physical happened to her, like if she got her hand slammed in a car door. Our bodies are just piles of carbon arranged in orders that communicate information to our brains. The genitals are just another such pile of carbon. They c…

Guys, seriously, this here is an entire thread of supposed Red Pillers getting excited about fucking a fake woman that can't say no. Where is your pride? To me, 80% of the pleasure of sex comes from the sexual satisfaction of knowing that I took a woman from stranger status to wanting my cock inside of her. While I admire this attitude in general, there is a wider cultural war going on that affects all of us. The language and ethos is seeping into the greater world around us. Most people hang back and watch and pick whichever side looks like it's going to win. Zeitgeist is established and renegotiated perpetually as people, sages and idiots alike, drive home their points. How so? I'm pointing to an area where RPers are consistently defensive. It's incredibly disarming to have your own language thrown at you. It's far more opportunistic to turn a defense into an attack than to stand there allowing your opponents to set the frame of an argument. And from what I've seen, I'm not repeating anything here that has been brought up before. It's not about me, but feel free to go about your day.

What you are describing falls victim to the tragedy of the commons. Of course as men we all want other women to be loyal to us, but they wouldn't be disloyal if they didn't have evolutionary gains to be got from it. Ergo we technically want our daughters to be selfish assholes who use men for resources and then fuck the alphas. The worst thing to be is a dove in a society of hawks. It's like cooperating in a game of Prisoner's Dilemma where the other side is constantly betraying you.
/r/TheRedPill29/05/15 09:05 PM
5

I believe you are exaggerating. In principle, yes, the disparity in success as a function of social value is much greater for men than it is for women, but there is still a continuous function for men. We all know a few decent looking beta guys who have meh girlfriends, which is a hell of a lot better than being incel. The fat neckbeards almost certainly are a combination of prostitute patrons and "wizards."

I can only speak from personal experience. For me, it's a lot easier to carefully craft my profile to look incredible than it is for me to ensure that every time I go out I'm surrounded by friends and living the high life. The great profile gets me the one on one. I actually kind of suck at nightclub game, but I've banged at least 50 women off of OKC in my life.
/r/TheRedPill24/05/15 11:52 PM

I wouldn't agree with your last sentence. If you're average looking or have average game, online is a much better resource than going out to night clubs and trying to hack it with the alphas. At least on OKC you have a pretext to send someone a message, so the approach anxiety is factored out. And most dweebs can write a good message when they have all day to think about what they want to say. The only other option for middle pack guys is to try to meet people through hobbies.

OK Cupid has definitely caused the women I meet to have unrealistic expectations. When it's so easy to next a guy, women will drop you because "He told that one joke that didn't go over well," or "That thing his ears do when he laughs." That being said, I wouldn't trade it for the world. Without online dating, I'd probably be married today, so I'd have the security of always having someone around, but I would have missed out on the dozens and dozens of one night stands and five night stands that…

God this sub has false rape on the brain lately. It's like, when you're a hammer, every problem in the world looks like a nail. In this case, there's no reason to make such a wild leap. They went on one date. Unless they slept together on the first date, she's never even been alone with him.
/r/MensRights23/05/15 05:35 PM

I don't necessarily have a problem with the depiction of male rape in movies, so long as it's not humorizing it (*cough*Super.) Movies have free artistic license to cover the full range of human experience, from the sublime to the atrocious. Incidentally, this happens to look like a really shitty B movie in general. But I won't stoop to the level of trying to censor it.

Return of Kings is a shitshow of racism and hostility. I'll take sleeping with half a dozen pleasant, pretty ladies per year year while living a balanced, fulfilling life any day over a grueling, angry, competitive, stressful existence that happens to get me up to ten or fifteen women per year.

This thread is focusing on the rare men who are both. I'd like to point out that anyone who's hung out in a dive bar has seen plenty of guys who are neither. Half our damn gender is scabby, toothless clod-hoppers whose only joy in life is $3 beer during happy hour and telling fishing tales with the same three guys until they have a heart attack at 68.

Even if Jews honestly do run Hollywood and a disproportionate amount of the financial sector, they got there by being resourceful and cunning. This fits perfectly in with RP philosophy and we should respect them and tip our hats for achieving it, rather than jealously hate them.

Classic sour grapes. Despise something you can't have so you can retain a shred of dignity. I guaran-fucking-tee you this woman would turn on a dime and make up some excuse about how "this guy is different" the instant a hot guy showed interest in her.

True. If she had gone completely off the rails calling the woman a blood-sucking thief and a criminal, she could have said literally anything and I wouldn't have cared. But she took what should have been about one thing and made it into a shallow cat-fight.

You're doing it right. This post outlines the differences between RP and the MRA losers who whine and feel sorry for themselves. It's not actual RPers that women hate; they complain about us because they misconstrue this sub as being the same thing as MRA. In practice, there is virtually no overlap in our memberships. MRAs hate us because we are cool, aloof, sexy, and liberated from anger and the need to be "protected" from women.

The whinging and self-pity are why I left this sub a long time ago. Seriously, you'll be a lot happier when you let go of the anger. MRA / feminism / politics aside, you will never progress as a professional, you will never get a girlfriend, and you will never find yourself surrounded by attractive, fun, interesting people, spending your Friday evenings laughing at cocktail parties as long as you are trapped in self-pity and anger.

I think we should strike the middle road between claiming that women and men are exactly symmetrical and equivalent in every regard and going off the deep end with the extreme examples you list. With regard to violence, people should be judged based on the results. Women should never receive a lesser punishment for actually committing murder, nor assault with a weapon, especially a gun. We already base sentencing on reasonable expectation of damage, which is why hitting someone with a baseball b…

I posted about this in /r/mensrights and got downvoted. This kind of video should outline the difference between MRA and RP. There isn't and equivalency between male and female perpetrated unarmed violence, and there shouldn't be. If we're going to accept that men and women are different, then I don't honestly have a problem with this. Men legitimately can do more damage, on average, than women. Therefore all people deserve to have unequal protection from assault from a male aggressor. People don't really intervene when women fight each other either, because it's very rare for anyone to actually get hurt. Of course, once you open the can of worms that men and women are different, you have to acknowledge that it's legitima…

I can't solve the MD conundrum. It makes sense that attractive women don't need to work hard, and so you'd expect attractiveness to relate inversely with education, and you do see this to an extent, but for some reason I don't find it to be true in the medical field. The easy litmus test for the legitimacy of an RP man is whether or not he slut shames. It's bad for some women, but it does allow multiple women to cluster around the resources of the top men. There are a lot of guys paying alimony and support to their exes while sleeping with the new, younger wife. If you really want to maximize your earnings, it has been well documented that people get larger raises when jumping to the next ship than when simply doing their job well and hoping they are noticed when the annuals come around: http://www.forbes.com/sites/cameronkeng/2014/06/22/employees-that-stay-in-companies-longer-than-2-years-get-paid-50-less/ I have managed to double my income in two years by switching companies, then sw…

If you're breaking your hand bones throwing a punch, you probably aren't extending your first two knuckles forward. You want two straight lines starting from your shoulder and extending through the radius and ulna into the index and middle knuckles. For most people, this requires pushing the fist slightly forward, like casting a fishing line. Another great advantage of Krav training is that it trains you to fight when tired, in case a fight lasts more than ten seconds. Finally, Krav will retrain…

No proof. Hence wanting to see the full screenshots before passing judgment. You could very well be right. It wouldn't be the first time overly sensitive liberals have gotten their panties in a wad over guys just being jocular. But if the article isn't exaggerating, it seems to imply that at least one of them confessed to rape.

If you meet Patrick Bateman in a bar and he confesses to you that he likes to drug and cut up women, are you going to respect his privacy? Get a grip, man. RP isn't about defending psychopaths. Real men don't drug women to get laid; we win their attraction by being respectable and confident. There is a huge difference between thought crime in the abstract and actually confessing to a fucking felony. If any of these people did the latter, I don't care if it was on a top secret message board; stri…

Fuck white knight losers. That being said, I'd need to see more specifics to pass judgment here. The article had some legitimately troubling details, but stopped short of giving full quotes in context. If any of these guys actually posted "Hell yes I love to drug women and rape them!" then he very well should be kicked out, forfeit his four years of tuition, and sit his sorry ass on suicide watch. You cannot go around acting like that.

Yeah, I didn't understand that. Why would he not want his views appreciated by a wider audience? I don't really feel guilty for ignoring this request. He posted his feelings on a blog. Reddit exists to scrutinize the public forum.

Actually, if you could condense this to a smaller version without sacrificing any of the content, you'd be doing a great service. The only drawback to the article is that it's going to conjure up a lot of tl;drs.

I doubt this is about politics so much as money. Are people boycotting companies that advertise on other subreddits? If that's the case, then reddit admins will definitely fight back. It's how their bread is buttered. I doubt anyone at reddit will give a damn if you try to organize a boycott against Jezebel's sponsors.

The fact is, as much as it stings, it is useful in describing human behavior. "Alpha" males get more attention from women, better paying jobs, and generally have more friends. The good news, however, is that you can absolutely change your perceived status. Even in the animal kingdom, being "beta" isn't an inevitability of genetics, the way hair and eye color are. Feel free to dump the terms if you don't like them. You don't need to call yourself a beta trying to become an alpha. But you can cert…

The number one thing that that book did for me was to humanize PUA. If I had been introduced to PUA in any other way, I would have put up a jealous, bitter shield, called the practitioners "creepy douchebags" (sound familiar?) and remained an AFC, convinced that my moral superiority was worth losing out on the sex. That book really relaxed me into accepting that the world is the way it is, and that people are not evil for wanting sex, and that I, in fact, wanted to get sex just as much as the PU…

I have a middling opinion of that book. A lot of Greene's advice is really obvious ("Try being famous!"), and some of the rest of it is self-contradictory, like when he has a chapter on haunting the periphery of her life, and then a later one on overwhelming her with direct infatuation (horrible, horrible, AFC advice!)

I could do a DINK marriage under the right circumstances. If I got a vasectomy and found an adventurous bisexual woman who would go out and have zero-guilt fun with me on the weekends, bringing some hot girls back to our hot tub, that would be an A-1 life. If she ever quits her job or cheats on me, we just separate and that's that. I "lose" the half of my house that she paid for anyway, so it was nothing more than a fun period. Low risk in my book. I think you'll find more synergy with your outlook with the MGTOW community. RP is about building self confidence, (yes) getting laid, and, very importantly, not spending our entire lives as pissed off as you currently are. Look at how much power you are giving women over you! There's fucking steam coming out of your ears! If you want to show women that you don't give a shit about them, stop letting them under your skin.

Why are we at RP embracing the pantywaist, MRA "Men get raped all the time too!" nonsense? We don't believe in gender symmetry here. RP embraces sexual dimorphism. This teacher is correct. There's no point in harping on male rape except as an academic oddity or a prison phenomenon.

Sure. It's a fact that women can get sex easier than men. The competition comes in how you interpret and respond to that fact. Attempting to use your "oppression" to elicit sympathy is mad BP. At least this woman admits that intentionally looking less attractive makes men not approach you. It drives me up the wall the way women pretend their sex appeal is a liability and not an assett. "But if you don't want to be hit on," I counter, "just get fat and shave your head. The fact that you try to look as attractive as possible proves that you assign more positive value to being approached by desirable men than negative value to being approached by undesirable ones." An uncomfortable truth that no one wants to talk about is that sex is often a very different experience for the people involved. It's not so much that women are "lying" about being raped. In her head, virtually all women who claim to have been raped genuinely believe that they were. It's just that a marginal fraction (maybe 10%, maybe 90%; I don't know, but it's some fraction) of the encounters that they experienced as rape would have appeared from a neutral third person perspective as a man mak…

When a woman makes substantially more than you, it becomes she who has to live with the dread of you leaving and having to pay you alimony and give you her house. I have never understood the reluctance for men to marry up financially. How would that even work? Someone would need to be the domain keeper for a site like Twitter. If every site were set up as a wiki, even down to the code level, there would be no stability and no way of preventing trolls from dismantling entire message boards. Google knows damn well that it is fast becoming the last bastion of speech / audience for a lot of people, and so even from a business perspective, they have a compelling case. In a society where the female 7s-10s are hooking up with all but the lowest value guys, then and only then do lower value women begin to seek out sex. It's probably even more primal than that. You're giving the judge a lot of credit imagining him sitting with his chin rested on his hand, calculating how the sociopolitical landscape would influence his career if he imprisoned her. More likely is that he just has a subconscious caveman amygdala process that makes him think "I must protect and shepherd this creature because she's an attractive woman and there's a 0.001% chance I will get to fuck her if I don't send her to jail."

My point is that you aren't actively distancing yourself from these women. In fact, I remember there was a case (Genarlo Wilson, I believe his name was) in which the entire nation rallied behind a 17 year old who was arrested and lost a football scholarship because he got a consensual bj from a 15 year old.

There are a lot of people who cry sour grapes when they look at something that other people enjoy that they can't have. I'd be willing to bet that a lot of the men who oppose TRP the most vocally relied on it when they were single. Now they have settled into an ostensibly satisfying relationship, but every so often their eyes drift back here and they pine momentarily for the good old days of NSA sex. Then their brain immediately hamsters up an excuse for how we couldn't possibly be happy and we …

Any programmers in here? I'm having this amusing metaphor running in my head: this bill views sexual consent as a Watchdog Timer. The reason these pieces of awkward, shoehorn legislation keep popping up is because the justice system doesn't know how to deal with the fact that sexual desire is murky, transient, often cutting in both directions at the same time, and almost always some shade of grey. This doesn't translate well into a form that allows them to render a binary judgment of "YES CONSEN…

She wanted me to drive to her town, about 30 minutes away, and meet her at a coffee shop that was right down the street from where she lived. I was ok with that, but I did request that we have a phone confirmation first. This both reassures me that she is who she says she is and also makes her more likely to show up. She refused to give me her number until after we had met. I still didn't give up. I then asked her if she would drive closer to me, or come to an event that I was already going to b…

I have spent a lot of time over the last year retraining myself to smirk at stuff like this. These caterwauling morons ultimately have little influence on society. They are just saying what they think, and they are wrong. We don't have to let them under our skin. It was extremely satisfying the other day when I told a girl I had been writing on OK Cupid that I don't want to meet her after all, because she was insisting on our meeting being entirely on her terms. Is The Wall a real phenomenon? I wouldn't predict that there would be one soul-shattering moment where a woman suddenly wakes up to being monumentally less attractive than she thought she was yesterday. I would imagine that it would be more like a steady decline over a period of five to ten years, giving up a little more here, settling a little more there as her negotiating position wanes.

I don't understand why this is even necessary. I'm actually with the women here. I haven't been refused a phone number or given a fake one in over a decade. Every time a girl tells me she wants to be friends, I respond by saying "Cool. Get in touch with me when you have something to invite me to." One of two things happens: either she texts me about some party where I go and meet her friends, in which case it was a good use of my time, or else she never texts me again. I'm guessing the point is that a woman can have breast cancer and still have breasts. You can't really have an equivalent image for the flu, as there isn't any outward sign of having the flu. Or just only marry a woman with a job that earns somewhere in the vicinity of your income. If she ever quits her job or "gets laid off" and doesn't try to find a new job within a month, immediately file for divorce. We're going off the deep end here. Rape still has meaning. It still means "engaging in sex with someone against their will through the use or threat of force." Even if a few people use the word too liberally, that is what the correct definition is. Feminists often complain that men earn more money, but most consumer spending is done by women, so who cares if men make all the money if we are just giving it to the women in our lives? In the end, they are the ones with financial purchasing power. In the end, they are getting what they need.

We are entitled to embrace our own sexuality, and are under no obligation to find any type of person sexually attractive. Attraction is an inalienable right, which includes the right to find the conventionally attractive women featured in bikini calendars sexually attractive. There are different things in play here. Merely showing confidence while being unattractive doesn't automatically make a guy creepy. For what it's worth, I don't think this girl should have gone to jail. I'm sure there are cases of 18 year old boys going to jail for having sex with 14 and 15 year old girls, but they shouldn't have either. The answer isn't to raise punishment of girls in this situation; the answer is to reduce punishment of boys. There should be a rolling range for consent. The law is too black and white. I was expecting the article to mention the fact that Obamacare basically forces men to subsidize women's health insurance by eliminating the (actuarially sound) practice of asking women to pay higher premiums because they use more healthcare services. A few other donors from Manhattan and San Diego have probably donated with the stipulation that the money only go to local people in need. They held his feet to the fire to stress him and see if he would waver in his story; a common tactic by interrogators. When he didn't, they believed him and let him go. What's the problem?
