Why compare the two stats and make this a gender v gender scenario? There is plenty of awareness and emotion over this topic especially in recent years.

These things shouldn’t be compared though, they’re horrible in their own rights.

You don’t have to change streets every 5 minutes. And that’s such a delusional belief that you would be accused of rape for walking behind a woman.

The statement isn’t ignoring men, you’re just taking it that way. It’s stating the fact that it affects more women and girls than it does men and boys. Both are problems but a higher percentage of women are the victims.

Because most pedophiles are men?

Why would you feel in constant fear. Are you the type to put yourself in situations where accusations are possible?

No

How did the women not like how they felt? What were the feelings

That’s a brilliant I’m glad we could come to a solid agreement.

Appreciate the apology. Anti-male is bad. So is anti-female.

You realise women can be arrested for harassment?

Yeah you’re the first reasonable person I’ve talked to on here and I agree with everything you say.

I didn’t say no women could vote that’s not the point. If one woman could vote or a thousand could that doesn’t change what I’m saying. There were biases over who could vote based on gender. The 19th amendment says gender but it’s obviously giving women the right to vote. Who was voting before that? Mostly men. Why are you talking about a bear?????

No we should talk about the issue and why we think about things the way we do. I’m not sure why there’s this whole element of ‘who to blame’. We don’t need to do that to move forward or solve the problem.

The 19th amendment wasn’t passed into law until 1919. Till then it would have been an extreme minority of women voting. The fact the law even needed to be put in place shows that there were issues with women voting. Who’s committing that violence? Other men. Can you provide evidence for that error? I think many women would have been raped instead. Why are you talking about bears are you okay 🤣

I feel far more comfortable opening up in front of women than men, there’s never that level of judgement. I don’t feel the need to hide pain from women. If you give me some time I will find appropriate research to show you.

Of course the way men generalise women here I didn’t think there would be an issue.
/r/MensRights28/03/25 11:27 PM

Some are part of this issue, yes. However it is an issue which affects men because they are the ones it is ingrained in. We suffer because of our own thoughts and we can behave in ways make other men hide their feelings. It’s something we collectively have to change instead of blaming the other gender.

I’m sorry mate it’s hard to follow what you are saying I can’t understand

Countries can matter especially ones where sex work is a big market. You phrase yourself as if all women are doing this? ‘Women behave in similar terms’.

Right but let’s think about the thousands of years of violence towards women. The lack of rights they had. No right to vote, not being able to go to work, deemed impure if they were raped because of no sex outside of marriage. The fact men could legally have sex with their wives even if the women didn’t consent to it. The oppression and suffering women have faced is extensive and has cemented itself in society and many cultures. Of course any harassment or injustice in the law men go through bec…

How comfortable do you feel being openly emotional in front of other men? Have you ever hidden pain to not appear weak as a man? Do you feel comfortable crying in front of other men? I’ll do some research and find some links if that’s what you need to believe me but in my experience and I’m sure you’ve seen in yours another man’s perception of your strength can matter a lot. There is a real judgement of if you’re weak that exists amongst men and it needs to be changed.

Mate I don’t have the time to screenshot every comment I see. And if I were to there’d be no point, hate can be subjective and I imagine what you and me see as hate would differ

I guess we have different interpretations of feminism then. Probably best to say black people instead of blacks

What country are you in for these incidents to be taking place if I may ask?
/r/MensRights28/03/25 11:01 PM

Who’s the ones committing those violent crimes against men? Other men No you don’t have to go up in arms about it. It’s a problem that needs to be emphasised cuz it is such a big deal. You blame women for their choice in men. Instead of blaming the men who commit those crimes No one goes up to you and asks you to apologise for what other men have done

But I don’t need to because there isn’t the same hate.

I’m not. He was harassed by a female coworker. That is entirely her fault. I’m talking about the idea of what it means to be a man and the often toxic stereotypes that evolve from that.
/r/MensRights28/03/25 10:50 PM

That’s unfair
/r/MensRights28/03/25 10:48 PM

I’m sorry for your experiences that sounds horrible and truly unfair. It must have felt very invalidating having to go through that. I hope you’re doing better now. You’re final sentence on the narratives pushed around men. You realise those toxic ideas and specifically the phrase man up is something that has been created and perpetuated by men?
/r/MensRights28/03/25 10:41 PM

I don’t think it’d be a much different response

What does your second point mean?
/r/MensRights28/03/25 10:33 PM

Where else would I ask it? You talk like you speak for all men. Many men do hate women and unfortunately subs like this accumulate a lot from what I’ve seen.

It’s not a big threat because it isn’t. Where did I say anyone defended it?
/r/MensRights28/03/25 10:28 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
