Women’s groups win rethink of bail lawsIf it is just slamming a door once or twice then of course. Usually domestic abuse cases deal with incidents over a period of time. | /r/MensRights | 06/11/19 08:25 PM
Women’s groups win rethink of bail lawsFair enough. I just don't agree with a lot of what is being said. Just because it isn't rape doesn't make it not bad. | /r/MensRights | 06/11/19 08:08 PM
| -1 | Women’s groups win rethink of bail lawsDomestic abuse is not a serious crime Yikes | /r/MensRights | 06/11/19 08:05 PM |

157 Republicans Just Opposed Renewing The Violence Against Women Act - Surprise, it's grossly skewed against men's rights and due processSo men aren't considered in "people"? You can make a case about it not being recognized to protect men when used in practice which is a separate issue. There is even the section that states that gender segregation can be used in certain situations which can be abused. My point is that the law was reworded to theoretically protect everyone. How it being used in practice is the real problem. | /r/MensRights | 02/11/19 05:46 PM
157 Republicans Just Opposed Renewing The Violence Against Women Act - Surprise, it's grossly skewed against men's rights and due processFrom what I've seen, the law has been amended twice to make it more inclusive to males, including the latest one with many changes similar to this: (1) in the heading, by striking “women” and inserting “people”; If I'm missing something I'd love to hear it. | /r/MensRights | 02/11/19 02:57 PM
| -4 | 157 Republicans Just Opposed Renewing The Violence Against Women Act - Surprise, it's grossly skewed against men's rights and due processI've looked through the law and the bill and couldn't find anything bad. Could you elaborate on where there is an issue in the document? | /r/MensRights | 02/11/19 02:50 PM |
Dear Feminists: We Don’t Owe You a ThingPretty much. I wish the mods would do something about it. Downvotes are good and all, but it still really gives us a bad name. | /r/MensRights | 02/11/19 02:27 PM
Female teacher gets only 1 year in jail (+2 years suspended) for having sex with one of her students on two occasions. She thought that 16 was the age of consent... Bruh | /r/MensRights | 31/10/19 09:19 PM
What's everyone's opinions on the final comment about mens' rights? Why make specially shaped holes when you can just have the holes be bigger to fit everyone? Wouldn't that be more equal since everyone can use the same holes? From what I see with this it still comes down to the misconception that men's issues are all institutional. Being called a wimp for showing emotion isn't institutional. People believing women over men isn't institutional. It can cause issues like divorce rights, but the root causes aren't institutional. | /r/MensRights | 25/10/19 03:53 PM

Dallas mom, 35, who put her healthy 8-year-old son through 13 unnecessary surgeries and tried to get him a lung transplant is sentenced to six years in prison - father had tried to stop herAfter looking around it looks like 6 years in prison is about average for the crime. It gets much longer when a child dies or suffers permanent health effects as a result. I'm guessing that she'll lose custody over the kids. | /r/MensRights | 13/10/19 04:44 PM
Teenager CONVICTED Of Sex Offense For Touching Girls Arm To Get Her Atte...I do everything I can to avoid becoming bitter and stuff like this does not help at all. | /r/MensRights | 12/10/19 10:25 PM
19 year old arrested for touching girls arm to get her attention.Seemed to have some sort of social disorder. While he shouldn't have touched her she did appear to take it too far. | /r/MensRights | 12/10/19 02:54 PM
19 year old arrested for touching girls arm to get her attention. He was 19. Legally speaking, he was an adult. So it is weird regardless of intent. | /r/MensRights | 12/10/19 02:49 PM
I complained about a woman cockteasing me at work, she made up sexual harassment claims and I was immediately let goI try to avoid thinking that way. | /r/MensRights | 09/10/19 12:27 AM
I complained about a woman cockteasing me at work, she made up sexual harassment claims and I was immediately let goI get that, but the majority of people aren't going to intentionally try to screw you over. | /r/MensRights | 04/10/19 10:17 PM
I complained about a woman cockteasing me at work, she made up sexual harassment claims and I was immediately let goRecording all interactions sounds a bit extreme. But things should be set up in the workplace to prevent misconduct in general. | /r/MensRights | 04/10/19 10:11 PM

New York: 'Activists' Get Shelter for Homeless Men Axed, Replaced with Women-Only ShelterA quote from a different article "No offense on the men, but there are small children around here. We have to look out for the small children besides ourselves," Wheeler said. https://pix11.com/2019/09/24/controversy-over-planned-all-mens-homeless-shelter-on-west-107th-street/ Edit: it's not so much the decision I'm annoyed over. It's more the reasoning behind it | /r/MensRights | 01/10/19 04:02 PM
Guy gets sexually assaulted by mother in law. These are some of the many comments not taking him serious. What matters is that there are more people that disagree with and ostracize them. I believe there is. | /r/MensRights | 29/09/19 09:03 PM

OP: We will see how much media coverage this gets.No. It's literally just because it's Africa and media outlets generally don't cover stuff that happens there. | /r/MensRights | 27/09/19 03:27 PM |
Nearly 500 men and boys are freed from 'house of torture' Islamic boarding school where they were chained up, raped by staff and starved 'in the name of teaching them the Koran' in Nigeria. OP: We will see how much media coverage this gets. This likely won't get reported on because it happened in Africa. The west doesn't do a whole lot of reporting on stuff there. | /r/MensRights | 27/09/19 01:59 PM

Just saw this on a feminist blogI've seen and talked to many feminists who are reasonable people. I've seen and talked to some that aren't as such. I've found that the internet sometimes tends to blow things out of proportion. | /r/MensRights | 22/09/19 05:59 PM

13-year-old boy sells Xbox, does yard work to buy his single mom a carThat's what I thought. We need a positivity flair on this subreddit for stuff like this that's just feel good without any agenda. | /r/MensRights | 04/04/19 01:26 AM
13-year-old boy sells Xbox, does yard work to buy his single mom a carSome articles say that he was on the autism spectrum so I'm wondering if maybe that could have had an effect. I've heard stories of kids on the spectrum doing similar things. | /r/MensRights | 03/04/19 11:48 PM
13-year-old boy sells Xbox, does yard work to buy his single mom a carFrom what the article says, it doesn't sound that way, but I don't know. I'd like to think that it was indeed just out of kindness, but of course there may be another side to the story. | /r/MensRights | 03/04/19 11:43 PM

Let's just hope they are not all on thier periods that day!No, personally I wouldn't. I have other things I would rather do. Just like some people would rather go to space. You can say that women are going for the more attractive jobs, but we are all trying to do that. I don't want to work in construction and I'm probably not alone on that. As long as companies like NASA doesn't try "affirmative action" then the job market would be equal and fine. | /r/MensRights | 12/03/19 11:40 AM
Let's just hope they are not all on thier periods that day!I believe the idea behind affirmative actions was to fix inequalities that existed in the US in the past so you have the Civil Rights Act adding groups like sex, race, religion. Diversity is a newer idea trying to further promote equality/protection to groups like sex, race and religion. That's the theory at least. There are still some equality problems that exist where some affect men and some affect women. It doesn't take into account how someone may abuse the need for equality so you have cas… | /r/MensRights | 12/03/19 03:01 AM
Let's just hope they are not all on thier periods that day!The list is: Race Religion National origin Age over 40 Sex and gender Pregnancy Citizenship Familial status Disability status Veteran status Genetic information States can also add their own. So yes. Men are legally protected in the sex/gender group because of the 1964 Civil Rights Act | /r/MensRights | 12/03/19 02:42 AM
Let's just hope they are not all on thier periods that day!Fair enough. On a side note, wouldn't that go against protected groups? | /r/MensRights | 12/03/19 02:28 AM
Let's just hope they are not all on thier periods that day!Anyone can work in space given enough training and practice. People don't neglect space because they want to study it. It seems like very hard and tedious work, but personally I'd take the opportunity to go do work in space. | /r/MensRights | 12/03/19 01:44 AM
Let's just hope they are not all on thier periods that day!Just because women are doing a thing it doesn't necessarily mean that men won't be able to. | /r/MensRights | 12/03/19 01:34 AM
Let's just hope they are not all on thier periods that day!I don't really see an issue with this. I mean the headline is stupidly written, but that's about it. Women have and will continue to be in space as well as mission control. | /r/MensRights | 12/03/19 12:22 AM
International Women's Day.My sophomore history teacher is a feminist and some sort of angel. She's helped me through so many personal issues that she's practically a motherly figure (not in a weird way) | /r/MensRights | 08/03/19 07:52 PM
What is the appropriate jail time for trying to kill a toddler in your care, crashing a car and hurting three people ?? Probation if you are born with the correct genitals. In Minnesota, second degree murder is charged with up to 40 years in prison and up to $40,000 in fines and whatnot. | /r/MensRights | 04/03/19 07:27 PM

| -1 | Journalists push publicly the idea that stealing sperm to get a baby and money is such a "cool and fun opportunity" for womenTo be honest I've never seen the big deal with having non reproductive sex. | /r/MensRights | 11/02/19 04:42 PM |
They got downvoted for speaking the truthThe problem is that there are plenty of MRAs that aren't good (by no means am I talking about the majority) making us seem like a joke and self serving bias doesn't help with addressing that. Honestly I'd say that this movement has a lot of similar problems to feminism. There is division between people where some truly want to make things equal, some do it to get off to how much of a victim they are, some do it because they genuinely dislike women and/or feminism for various reasons, and some ju… | /r/MensRights | 25/01/19 01:16 AM

"To include a woman just to fill a female quota is sexist and an insult to all women"If anything, doing something like that says that they think they have very little to no talent. | /r/MensRights | 24/01/19 12:26 PM |

Anyways I have banned from r/Gendercritical for saying all lives matter in a comment sectionI didn't say the sub was against trans women. I was commenting more about the victim competition that goes on. | /r/MensRights | 24/01/19 03:12 AM |

PSA: If you're a moderate / conservative / non-feminist and use OKCupid... be aware that THIS is what you're supporting. It depends on how you do it. There is a definite difference between putting out your beliefs to make sure whoever you find has beliefs where both people can support each other and being an ass about it. Wording has a lot to do with it. Also, I didn't mean guys as men exclusively. Is guys no longer a gender neutral term? Everyone I know uses it that way. | /r/MensRights | 23/01/19 12:18 AM
PSA: If you're a moderate / conservative / non-feminist and use OKCupid... be aware that THIS is what you're supporting.Politics + dating I mean it certainly can be done tastefully, but I mean... Hey guys, what else can we put politics into? | /r/MensRights | 22/01/19 11:57 PM
"Toxic Masculinity"This is why I don't like this subreddit. People complain how feminists will make themselves the victims without any context and here it is happening over here now. | /r/MensRights | 21/01/19 03:34 PM

What is a man? A response to Gillette by Egard WatchesOne thing that bothers me with the controversy as well as this ad though is that I can see where people with different perspectives are coming from with this. You have one group that thinks men are trash and need to improve. Obviously not great. But then there are the people that say that this ad "only applies to the bad men". My issue with that is that a label like that can be subjective. Obviously violence is bad, but different people see things differently so the original ad just puts a broad… | /r/MensRights | 19/01/19 02:04 AM

E-Trade Implies Support for Female SupremacyAlso it is a bad idea for everyone to encourage people to get management jobs. Not just anyone can waltz on in and be a good manager. Someone has to want to improve enough to get the position if they are unfit. | /r/MensRights | 04/12/18 01:14 AM
My issue with r/MensLib and possible ways of improvementWhy would men be working to undermine men though? That just seems counterproductive for them. | /r/MensRights | 01/12/18 01:10 AM
My issue with r/MensLib and possible ways of improvementThe problem I have with "toxic masculinity" is that there is no fixed definition for it and its blatant sexism towards men. Like initially it came down to "don't be an asshole" and "don't gatekeep" which are valid points for anyone. Issues begin to arise when women say they can't be toxic which effectively calls men toxic and women perfect. Now to make things worse the term is shifting every day seemingly just to denounce any concerns men may have. We need to ditch the new fluid terminologies al… | /r/MensRights | 30/11/18 04:34 PM
My issue with r/MensLib and possible ways of improvementGood point. I've just been wanting to find people who would be reasonable enough to have these discussions as the concerns need to be spread beyond this movement thing if we want hope of something being done. I'm sure most people are reasonable, but it seems as the vocal minorities pretty much mold people to think how they want them to. | /r/MensRights | 30/11/18 01:48 AM
My issue with r/MensLib and possible ways of improvementAlright then. I won't bother. | /r/MensRights | 30/11/18 01:24 AM

All over the news. 6 women per hour murdered. Never mind the fact almost 60 men an hour are murdered. Oh, and 46% of the time, domestic murder victims are male. You’d think that would deflate the hystA new study from the United Nations shows that women account for 82 percent of people killed at the hands of their intimate partner The blurb just seems like they are picking and choosing stats at this point. Men make up about 80 percent of all homicide victims globally, but women make up 82 percent of all people killed by intimate partners. I find the whataboutism here to be rather annoying. Like they state a large problem men face, but instead of actually talking about it and potential solutio… | /r/MensRights | 27/11/18 09:01 PM

Misandry in My French ClassWell (playing devil's advocate here) women in the past did have a history of oppression (there may be a better word, but I can't think of one) like with the whole voting and property ownership issues to name a few. The issue is that I feel like a lot of people are blind to the rights and privileges that they already have. | /r/MensRights | 20/11/18 09:46 PM
Misandry in My French ClassMale privilege grants immortality so we were there to start oppression 2000 years ago. Because of our long history of personally enforcing it ourselves we deserve to get punished nowadays for it. /s | /r/MensRights | 20/11/18 09:39 PM
