I'm fairly certain they all know it's not healthy. The whole fat pride or w/e thing is about them embracing who they are and not being shamed for it, unhealthy habits and all. Besides, there are an awful lot of chubby chasers out there. I personally don't find this attractive, but I don't find much of what hollywood/magazine ads/society shoves in my face day after day attractive. I look at this and I see a bunch of fat bitches in ugly underwear. I look at Victoria's Secret ads and see ano chicks…

So why is it that when I condone women feeling empowered to be themselves and embrace their bodies I get so shit upon? Are they trying to say here that more women shouldn't be sexualized and empowered because that would just make everything too darn hard? Or is someone going to label me a feminist again because I don't actively attempt to devalue women?

Nope, it's not normal. Perhaps you should consider how you are choosing your friends. You say that you're in better shape than them, do you feel that you're trying to befriend those deemed as 'nerdy' or 'outcasts' because you feel that you will be more on par with them? What are the things that interest you? It seems to me that you're just kind of latching on to groups instead of trying to form real meaningful bonds with anyone. I'm gonna have to agree with steveo here. Alpha is more about characteristics displayed than actually being 'alpha' in all circumstances. I mean, look at that MMA douche Warhammer; he appears to be alpha as fuck, but is beating a girl into the hospital then hiding out like a little bitch really alpha behavior?
