The process of getting divorced can take a year or more, so if you are suggesting another year after that? That’s quite frankly the dumbest thing I’ve read. There is no time line on grief, it is on going. It may never end. But that doesn’t mean new relationships can’t develop. Use the year DURING the divorce for therapy and lots of cursing.
