And there's nothing worse for feeding a hamster than an "authority" agreeing with it.

"Should I ...?" "Do I have to ...?" With questions like these she will try to shift the blame away from herself. If you give her permission to be lazy by answering them wrong, then suddenly it's your fault and not hers.

For religious/cultural purposes, not so. But for the purposes of oxytocin/telegony/hypergamy (i.e. the things that really matter), you're absolutely right.

Women define truth by authority and by consensus (i.e., the authority of the tribe). Be very careful about the "authority" you introduce into your lives, be it a television show, a magazine, or a therapist (especially one to whom you yourself submit).

It's worth pointing out to any outside visitors that nobody is advocating force here. Female sexuality needs to be restricted by social stigma and disassociation. If you want to go your own way and whore around then that's none of my business, but frankly if you want to live in a civilized society then you need some modicum of self-control.

believes that she is entitled to a (presumably ripped, rich and tall) entertainer that devotes his life to give her shriveled and dusty cunt the tingles by taking her on an adventure tour around the globe Meanwhile, most men would be satisfied with a woman who stays loyal and doesn't get fat or frigid. This is clearly a skewed market.

I wish I could perform a hypergamy test without actually doing it, i.e., hire a Chad Thundercock to approach and attempt to game your LTR, to observe her "loyalty", defenses, etc. The problem with actually doing this is that she would suffer from an observer effect: such an encounter would screw with her hormones, create an unnecessary dopamine spike, and could jeopardise the relationship in the long term.
/r/TheRedPill02/02/15 05:36 AM

LTR's behavior has been less than stellar lately, so for now it's just Saturday. If I decide that we ought to have a nice dinner, I'll tell her to find a good chicken recipe. She usually thrives with that level of freedom/constraint.

She's addicted to the attention (including your reactions), and it isn't healthy. She needs to put an end to it unambiguously.

FYI, that phrase has a completely different meaning to those of us involved in GamerGate, referring to a feat of whiteknighting: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/nods-respectfully-towards-you It's a shame—social-justice faggots have no comprehension of what "respect" actually means, seeing it as something owed to all rather than earned.

I thoroughly agree. It also reminds me of the Catholic practice of "moritification". From the Catholic Encyclopedia: Temptations to sin [the soul] overcomes by inducing the will to accept hardships, however grace, rather than yield to the temptations. To this extent, mortification is obligatory on all, but those who wish to be more thorough in the service of Christ, carry it further, and strive with its aid to subdue, so far as is possible in this life, that "rebellion" of the flesh against the …

I can understand that for some disciplines, where the method of testing doesn't really matter, but the stuff being tested does. The problem in things like engineering is that the presentation, groupwork, etc. are the actual things being tested. They are part of the required skillset.

Reminds me of the Columbia Law students who were allowed to do their final exam a couple of weeks later because they might be "traumatised" by the Michael Brown judgement. Because it's perfectly fine to be a lawyer if you can't emotionally handle a legal finding.

/r/TheRedPill23/01/15 04:38 AM

Hypergamy isn't the only issue here. The other concern in OP's case is the effect that the sudden attention will have on her personality. Most average women spend their entire lives bathed in positive attention from men. This prevents a personality from growing, and leads to unlimited entitlement. The effect may be smaller or more manageable if the sudden attention happens when a girl is older; I don't know. Be supportive without being supplicating, and don't get jealous or desperate to keep her…

It's a symptom of our gynocentric culture. In the last couple of years there have been a lot of articles coming out about 'herbivores' in Japan, and how sad it is that there are so many men who aren't interested in women. You can bet that this is coming off a decade of these same men being ignored by women to the point of desperation, with no media attention at all.

"Unicorn" doesn't mean a "perfect woman", being a mere extension of a marriageable or high-quality woman. It's an illustration of AWALT: there is no woman who you can guarantee will keep her hypergamy in check. Are there women who will stay loyal to you? Yes. Are there women for whom you can say, with a high degree of confidence, that they are slaves to hypergamy and external validation? Yes. Are there attributes and flags you can look out for that hint that a woman might stay loyal? Yes. But th…

How about the word "degenerate"? Or Saint Augustine's "sin"? Or Jack Donovan's "dishonorable"? Either way, they're falling short of the standard because it's too easy to follow the media because her friends do, and get validation on tap from thirsty men.

After a minute I asked her what she was doing and she said she was thinking. Could be: - Washing out undesired sperm - Texting Chad McThundercock because her subconscious wants to initiate sperm wars - Rationalizing what she just did - Rationalizing past cheating Dunno, could be anything really.

It may not be as directly bad for the man as physical cheating is, but it's immeasurably worse for the relationship, as she's checked out and looking to branch-swing. That being said, most cases where a woman cheats physically, it's also emotional (unless it's drunk/pity sex with an orbiter or somesuch)

Judging from the comments in this thread, I think that the answer is obviously "the media has a very strong and very negative influence on teenagers, especially seventeen-year-old boys who think that they're wise adults". Alpha and beta are behaviors, and maintaining a LTR requires both. Some days more of one, others the other. Usually peaking beta during menstruation and alpha during ovulation. Yes, it's hard. And yes, it's made immensely harder by society enabling unilateral divorce and demonizing both masculinity and femininity. But it's possible if it's what you want. Community approval and affirmation is incredibly important when it comes to the behaviors that women consider "tolerable". This is why things like Sex and the City are so damaging. Islam has some good values, but it is a different culture. Nothing particularly wrong with that in itself, but as humans we are inherently tribal and nationalistic. We in Europe and the Anglosphere have a perfectly good patriarchal culture, called Christianity. In many cases it is watered down (e.g. my experience, of Catholicism in Australia, is of a depressingly feminized and PC church), and it is widely rejected, but it's still there.

Feelz before Realz seems to be common to a lot of elements on the left. Patriarchy, regulation, democracy, minimum wage, gun control, evil capitalists...

Guy here. My relationship with my girlfriend is steadily improving, but the one hurdle (which I wasn't aware existed until browsing RPW and seeing the fantastic outlook here) is fostering her mindset of consciously prioritizing the relationship. That seems like the one thing which can't simply come about through my behavior/attitude/influence, but must rather be explicitly taught.

Gillard? She was a horrible PM. But it had nothing to do with her being a woman. She betrayed her electors, her predecessor, and her allied party, she was a paragon of union corruption, and her only consistent policy was to hold onto power.

Why not just be a real person Because all our lives we've been trained not to be ourselves, not to hide our feelings, not to be strong. We've been told that masculinity is wrong, that strength is oppressive, and that what women really want is another girlfriend. TRP is simply about changing ourselves back; in effect, it is about being ourselves.

I can't quite put my finger on it, but it seems there's just something about intellectually unchallenging, fitter, more youthful-looking women that I'm very drawn to. intellectually unchallenging Author is a bitter, middle-aged woman.

There's also "get marriage counseling", which is merely a delayed proxy for "the man is wrong".

Insurance isn't about punishment. It's a service, and in order to function properly, premiums need to increase along with risk of payment, whether that risk is natural or self-attributable. Anything else is akin to a "human right to medical care", i.e. a right to the time and resources of doctors and hospitals.

It's solipsism. Just like cheating women are more suspicious of their partners, and women who exhibit within-gender preference also maintain a conspiracy theory about "the patriarchy".

Jealousy. It's like the whole "sex-positive" culture: drag the competition down to your level.

It isn't about sociopathy. Both parties in a relationship are happier, and the relationship is healthier, when boundaries are made clear and there is no question that the man can withstand a storm for his family.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
