I feel the exact same way. I'm mainly scared of being vulnerable, being taken advantage of, if they're violent towards me or feel comfortable enough to berate me. It's nerve wracking sometimes. I'm always on guard and just want them to leave me alone. Thank you for the support 💕

Thank you for your advice! I've tried talking with my friend's brother and male cousins. That seems like a great idea, I guess due to covid I don't think I can do some of them in real life just yet so I'll start with volunteering.

Thank you! I've started journaling but I'm not sure how to describe my feelings of anxiety as all I can say is that I feel uncomfortable. I'll try find some CBT worksheets though!

That actually makes sense! Thank you for your response. Although I shouldn't completely get rid of that fear for my safety I want to have that confidence in myself that no man can force their way on me or talk down to me because they see me as an easy target. Where would you suggest is a place where the power balance is fair? I can only think of places that make me feel comfortable but I still feel uncomfortable when men invade those places.

Thank you so much for your advice! I believe it to be a combination of both lack of confidence and feeling unsafe. I especially hate being left alone in a room with a man. You ARE at risk of being taken advantage of if you trigger the "low self esteem" radar of a man. A lot of men are very attracted to low self esteem. 😐 So you're right to be concerned. This is my biggest worry as I seem to attract narcissistic men who feel it's okay to yell at me or insult me even when I fight back. No matter w…

Thank you for your response! I was thinking about it but atm I don't think I'll be able to afford it unfortunately. Though I'm saving up for at least a session or two

Any advice for being a 'cold B'? I feel either intimidated by men or just walk away from the situation quickly without staying anything.

That's great!! Any self improvement books, confident people and their behaviour, podcasts you would personally recommend please? I'd really like to glow up when I come back.

First off thank you for your comment, I plan to use it as a guideline for what I want to be. Second any advice for having a glow up mentally/inner work growth? Like how did you go about working on your inner self/charisma? I have poor social skills and sometimes feel like I need validation in order to be a better 'me' if that even makes sense.

I'm kinda curious but what are your views towards having joint accounts? I definitely plan not to as it seems to cause far more harm than good.

Damn that's so interesting! Got even more intrigued the more I read. Any advice for being able to pick apart underling truths to what people say? Is it just good listening skills and actually paying attention to the words used?

Most of the Chinese dramas I've seen are about a childish Emperor being an asshole to the consort he likes. This'll be a nice change.

'good,u?' Sorry that got me 🤣🤣 although it's quite pathetic that he still bothered you after all that time. I mean did he not get the message the first time you ignored him?

Sorry for my silly question but what does she mean by 'romance shouldn't be a literary analysis, it should be explicit'? Is she referring to when you ask a man what he likes about you and he says 'Idk you're just different'?

The guy basically gave a tip on making girls fall for their useless self but guilt tripping them to stroke their weak egos. He said "Why would you want to date someone like me? I feel you deserve better." And the girl then starts stroking his ego giving him bs reasons why he's amazing.

Ahhh if I really pity his situation.....but I don't like how that sounds. I feel like it'd be easy to manipulate me and I don't like that.

Would he also reject the money if I offered him some? But that definitely sounds HV

Thank you so much! I know this sounds kinda sad but I'll practice to be firm when saying this. Normally when people ask me for money I say no but I divert my eyes a lot.

Thank you! So would you recommend that during dates I should find out his financial values/ambitions? In order to know earlier on if I'm wasting my time. Edit: unfortunately I have a friend like this but I'm slowing distancing myself and always say no whenever she asks

Thanks for the advice! So how could I say no in a nice way? Or should I be worried in the first place if he's asking me for money?

I may sound silly but what does a 'short term relationship' even mean?

Ahh so is it rude to say "Why is it any of your business?" Or "what's it to you?" Or "You don't need to worry yourself about the details."

You don't need anyone to believe in you. They just need to stay out of your way. Damn gonna remember this quote for a long time. Thank you.

When I gain enough confidence I'll try it. For now I'll just work on myself, thanks again!

Since I can't really go to social events right now due to what's happening in the world, would you recommend I use apps like Discord or just focus on myself?

Thank you so much for your advice! I'll try mix this advice with 'fake it til you make it'. I have a long way to go wish me luck!

That sounds amazing! Please if you don't mind me asking how did you become more sociable? When I go to events I just stay silent not sure what to say, or it would feel forced when I try to start a conversation.

Could anyone suggest to me examples of women in media, TV shows etc portraying what FDS stands for please? I wanted to see it be done and what situations it would happen.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
