I'm sure that book will be somewhat helpful, but it's a pop self help book, meant to pique interest in communication. Communication skills are important, but what is infinitely more important is your ability to listen and empathize. 90% of the time or so, when a person is talking to you, all they are really doing is waiting until you refer to them or something they said or something that happened to them in some way. There are times when people have pure "philosophical dialogues", but that is al…

I can very easily go on a date that I would enjoy with a new person, despite being "below average" in conventional attractiveness. Most women cannot. At least in the United States. Just because they can go on a date with someone uninteresting and unattractive to them, doesn't mean you have it easier than them (you can do the same).

Are do you think that women dislike being attractive, or appearing to other people as sexually desirable, at all times? Doesn't the existence of cosmetology undermine this theory?

The fact that you conceive of the entire debate around "pill ideology", which is supposed to be a way of making you more attractive and successful in life, as having anything to do with women having delusional conceptions of a future partner (if anything, they have rather low expectations for a future partner, compared to men), just illustrates how deeply unhelpful it is as a movement.

Oh, well that's unfortunate, though a lot of people are casually disgusted at the existence of people who are not white, as alluded to before. My original point though is that in the vast majority of cases, Autistic people can be very appealing as partners, much more so than neurotypical people, and even in women who have this reaction, they can develop romantic feelings, and possibly become much more progressive. They're certainly more likely to do so than men anyway.

Okay, well high school students tend to use homophobic and racial slurs, I wouldn't take what they say too seriously. I was more wondering about your adult life. E.g. has a fully grown woman who leads a marketing team ever just gone "ew you're autistic!". Women tend to be a bit more conscious of neurodiversity than men are, so I would be surprised if that happened.

Okay, I'm about 2 inches taller than you, so we're both under the "mythical 6 foot mark", and I find that employing the basic social skills I mentioned, I have no issues having a near limitless amount of people to hang out with, including people that would enjoy a date. I also know people much shorter, and more south asian looking than me, who date very frequently. So again, it's really a matter of standing out by not being obnoxious and being proactive about what your friends want or are intere…

There are some women (like Lauren Boebert) who do not understand their own sexual desires or behaviors, as well as some men (Brett Kavanaugh). Nevertheless, most educated adults do understand their own desires and behaviors, and are mature enough to figure out how to be horny after talking about "icky stuff" like sexual preferences. To figure out how to do that, try a coursera course on emotional intelligence.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 06:59 PM

It's really not a catch 22. Normal adults can get horny after figuring out their boundaries before sex begins. In fact, it's often a kind of foreplay to figure out what your partner likes in bed through subtext.

I assure you choking her without having asked that will guarantee perpetual repulsion, among other things, like keying your car or worse.

Oh, well I'm "below average" in terms of conventional attractiveness (e.g. like a 3), just going off of the truerateme subreddit and what I've heard from people. I recently dated someone that looked a lot like this woman, who is rather conventionally attractive. It is not unusual for me to date women that are conventionally attractive in that way, but they usually wear a lot of makeup, are not interested in highly active lifestyles (hard to do when you're maintaining that appearance) and often a…

Because men aren't interested in figuring out what women actually would like in dating, they want to figure out some hack that lets them get to the next date, or have sex on the second date, or make the woman obsessed with them etc. Also, a bunch of random anecdotes online is not going to give you an idea of what the general population of people want, that's why statistics exist.

You aren't celibate, and there's nothing wrong with being celibate, so no. Though I will shame you for thinking that being "less dominant" or "less masculine" is a downward cycle, being that I seem to have sex more often than you typically. But hey, maybe you're just very selective who knows. Though again I assure you, zero women want the "gigachad" idea of dominance in bed, or around the apartment (do you like to be told to cook or clean or that you're not dressing girly enough?)
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 07:44 AM

Rich men usually aren't very conventionally attractive. Also, doesn't think theory completely refute red pill/ black pill theory? I thought you guys thought average guys have no chance?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 07:30 AM

How often do you have sex per month?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 07:21 AM

Well yeah, racism is a thing, as is ethnocentrism, but there are many diverse organizations and many organizations that are specifically intended for people with those identities, so I would start with those. Also, have you not seen Woody Harrelson? No one cares if you're bald. How tall are you about?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 07:20 AM

This of course depends on what you mean by sexual harassment. According to the NIH, 95% of women report workplace harassment, but a fair bit of this harassment is "catcalling" or "teasing" at work that some men (e.g. misogynists) might not consider sexual harassment. The National Center for Statistics on Violence cites a study by UCSD that determined the figure to be 81% with much more robust methodology potentially. You also said "raped or sexually assaulted", which is a phrase I did not use, b…

First of all, no woman wants you to be more "dominant", trust me, if anything, they would be extremely excited if you asked whether they like choking during sex before trying it. Incidentally, you seem to think the "dominant men" don't watch porn. This seems to not be borne out by the statistics about which kinds of porn are popular among men.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 06:32 AM

If I would have to choose between being constantly sexually harassed or mistaken for flirting with someone and being thought of as incapable of doing anything other than secretarial or "people oriented work" or being considered intrinsically dumber than men or destined to be a parent, over just being found creepy or having idiots think I'm a school shooter, I'd go with the latter every time.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 06:26 AM

Yes, of course I fucking do, because I've lived it, I've spoken to other men who have lived it, I've seen the statistics. What do you think women find less appealing about an autistic person's personality than the average man they would date? It's a disability which can fuck over every single aspect of your life, in a circular chain of "I was unable to do X which was resulted in me being unable to do Y which resulted in me being unable to do Z and, whoops, now I'm 50 years old, with no money, no…

As though somehow logical reasoning and mechanical rote reproduction of behaviour is anything like as socially effective as actually being charismatic, witty, quick-thinking, and naturally more socially conditioned to behave in ways people will be openly receptive to. As I said, the behavior of autistic people, like Sia, Elon Musk, Christine McGuinness, Emily Dickinson, and Andy Warhol, tends to be more palatable than the behavior of highly "extroverted" or more accurately "overbearing/overconfi…

This seems to demonstrate a complete lack of understanding of how autism can affect a person's behaviour. Tell me, in what way do I, a person that studies autism and works with autistic people, lack an understanding of the relationship between autism and behavior? It's a disability for a reason: because that's a lot easier said than done, when you have social development issues and odd thought patterns and physical behaviours. It's hard for anyone to socialize, but just like mathematics, once yo…

The same exact ones as for neurotypical men: listen carefully, be proactive (when you figure out what a person wants, do that thing. Predict what they will want and do it before they ask). You will have a small advantage over neurotypical men because they will try to be charismatic, interesting, someone they are not, etc., whereas you likely see no logical reason to do that. Remember also that most of your dates should come from friends, so first join groups or attend events and meet new friends…

Technically it's about Femcells. In reaction to incels. It's comparing them. I can ask this question in reverse: you think all the blame is on men in this instance and none on women? Obviously we are all humans, and we are all flawed, but whatever the flaw women have in dating it's not "ahh her standard's are too high". That would mean every single man's standards are impossibly high, since you wouldn't even date a brilliant supermodel doctor if she developed a beer belly and started to skip sha…

You are saying the claim "if you don't get dates at all you're approaching it wrong" is reasonable to reject, but "all women are simply way too invested in how you look and all of these men simply don't look the right way" is not reasonable to reject? Pretty sure most neutral people are gonna go with the first claim unless they receive incredibly overwhelming evidence of the second. Again, I am not talking about Incels per se. I never was. Hmm really though? Considering this is in the implications section, I don't think this is the strongest part to build your evidence on. Second, the sentence says "more likely", it's not deterministic, like a sentence I just make up: "99% of men who endorse masculinity roles more strongly are more likely to have dysfunction regarding social attachment etc". It probably proves these researchers couldn't prove such a thing themselves. Other research also proves there would be no significant connect…

You are correct about the last part, and describe about .001% of sexless men: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12119-020-09724-6 The last part also contradicts the first part, so I'd recommend checking out an introductory logic book. Language Proof and Logic is a fun one.

Cool, to sum up for those who made it this far: women have higher standards than men because they won't date guys with beer bellies, even though many do, while most guys won't even date actors if they have beer bellies.

It's actually worse than dysfunctional there, that's almost sociopathic (again it's kind of a very lax form of something that violent criminals do). What you're doing is you're continuing to be nice with the person, but artificially preventing yourself from getting into situations where you would bond further with them, since that would put them into the same realm as your friends. The only motivation you have for this is "well they rejected me so, sucks to be them but I'm not letting them in th…

I mean, that is what it means, except in the rare case where they have an emotional disorder that makes them highly susceptible to rejection, being dysfunctional when interacting with someone who rejected you for the rest of your life to the point that you can't be friends indicates arrested emotional development. So you're saying that because women find you physically unattractive because of your protruding belly, it's really on the women, and not you? Would you find a woman attractive if she had a beer belly? No right? Pretty sure the problem here, again, is simply that for years, you've used the same or similar approaches to dating. You've viewed the "friendship" or "emotional tampon" aspect of dating as relegating you to the "friend zone" which the alpha male chad she's really interested in is not in.…

I've done it a bunch of times? Have a huge crush on someone, seems amazing, like I wanna marry them. Then she's just like ehh sorry I just don't think we're compatible. And then I'm like damn, that sucks. And then 3 weeks later I'm like "hey wanna go to a rave?". Sometimes people are just incompatible with us, that's life. As kids, we take it personally and isolate for a long time, and that's understandable, but then we realize that we're gonna meet tons of great people in life, so it's okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 05:40 PM

Okay, why though? You're literally holding a grudge about a thing that isn't personal. It's like toning it down because they're into Ska, or are from Ireland. Why?

Again, if you have nothing in common, why be friends? But if you like each other, then clearly you should be friends. Avoiding someone you like simply because they turned down a date with you is like avoiding them because they refused to sign your petition to save the whales. It's weird.

So, my point was that, for most people, training, music, etc. are more fun in environments that are welcoming to all sorts of people, not just men. But anyway yeah, your OP is saying hookup culture is bad because of nightclubs and this other stuff you hate, but that's not hookup culture, that's just a bunch of stuff you hate. One can have casual relationships in other settings, like music groups, art collectives, MMA or BJJ clubs, etc.

In what way are you "forcing" friendship? If someone threw a ball of paper at you in middle school would you never speak to them again in your life if they were in your circles? This is basically what inspires sadomasochist criminals to commit their crimes, holding grudges.

Okay, name one such "natural" you know in a successful relationship. Is his SO a trad? Does she hate feminism? Does she like to be subservient to his needs? Does he let her talk to other men? Are they satisfied? 99% of the time, people don't know anyone who actually succeeds in dating with this red pill alpha stuff. Similarly for BJJ enthusiasts, or nature loving hikers. Where do you live? You may want to change the locations you do those things. If you leave a friendship because a woman turned down your invitation to date, would you be fine with it if someone stopped being friends with you because you turned them down? I forgive men for picking crappy women, like Red pill trad wives, because they will self-select out of the gene pool. Their children will be completely socially incompetent like them, forcing a better family to take over for them, and forever making those children progressives. That is if they even figure out how to have children, or how to keep them alive, or what family planning is.

The truth is that part of being an emotionally intelligent adult is having the capacity to understand people's motivations and their emotions, and being proactive about addressing them. I bet a lot of evopsych grad students wish your first paragraph was true, would make their lives a lot easier: https://academic.oup.com/edited-volume/45515/chapter-abstract/393445947?redirectedFrom=fulltext&login=false Anyway it's not just because they reproduced, it's literally because those people have successful relationships. In fact, their relationships are often more successful, in terms of both partner's satisfaction, then those involving a "hot" partner. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/d…

I assumed you weren't confused enough to assume ugly people don't have success in relationships unless you were "ugly" yourself, yet here you are, assuming it while not even being in that group, despite the clear genetic and everyday common sense evidence otherwise.

Assuming that you spent your childhood with them, they must have been pretty compatible! Clearly, the existence of conventionally unattractive people, just by the laws of genetic inheritance, entails that being conventionally attractive is not essential, or arguably even important, to sexual attraction and a successful relationship or courtship. This would, of course, become obvious if the black pillers actually bothered to try making friends, among them women. They would eventually find that so…

I already mentioned the ugly and autistic people who date women of all sorts. Everyone reading this is aware of those people. One of them happens to be influencing a lot of current events in the world. Your mates are still virgins because they either don't want to date someone, or if they do, they are not interested in developing their capacity for empathizing or making an effort at conversation or prudence. But hey, don't take it from me, ask your parents! Most people's parents are not exactly …

That was literally my point, being a good person has nothing to do with whether or not you're attractive or sexy, though they can enhance each other. There are autistic or ugly people that date all sorts of women. It's literally all about what you have going on. What do you think a relationship is? Do you think women are morons that don't realize that the hot guy they picked is going to be around them all day if they actually move in together and she will hate it if he sucks? Andy doesn't have t…

Nobody has that "idea", it's something you're projecting onto other people. What people are usually pointing out to "Incels" or just people who do not have success with women is that being attractive or sexy is not the same as being a good person. They are two different categories of human behavior. Maximizing how many ethical or good things you do will do absolutely nothing for your success with relationships unless you develop your personality, your empathy, and your interests. People like the…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
