The terms 'sexual objectification', where feminists argue women are only seen as sex objects, along with other terms, such as the feminist definition of 'rape culture' are a real fucking problem when it comes to arguing with feminists (and being understood by the general public). The MRM needs to have a discussion about this. We need to come to some sort of understanding on this. Do we appropriate these terms for ourselves, or do we counter them? Im in two minds. Do we take these terms for ourse…

(which is in no way an accusation) You are such a disingenous feminist. Effectively it was an accusation and you know it, and so does everyone that read it. You are a feminist, and I am an anti-feminist, you believe in 'rape culture', and I've called you out on it very recently. There's the motive. Anyone that reads our past conversations can easily see that you do all you can to discredit me, and that you did try to smear me a a holocaust denier. No, you're just trying to get yourself out of the hole you dug when you tried to smear me as a holocaust denier. When I stated I didnt deny the holocaust, you then (realizing you had made a big mistake) changed the argument and seized upon an irrelevant point which had nothing at all to do with your original accusation of me, because in not doing so: "that would mean admitting you were wrong, and we both know you aren't capable of that." Good day.

You say you get picked on, well, women are the best readers of body language, signs and social situations. They pick up on everything. I think this is a difference between the sexes. Women tend to be more sympathetic to fellow 'victims' (or who they see as victims), and dont realize that to a man, its almost an insult, (rightly or wrongly, given the way we're raised to be men). Men on the other hand, in general, will not sympathize so much, but be indifferent, because males have a solitary side.…

No, you've completely missed the point. Im giving a counter-argument against the feminist/female 'contraceptive failure' excuse in regards to abortion, where feminists/females will try to blame anyone or anything but themselves for any abortion that is not medically necessary. Feminists and women, when talking about abortion and the high rates of abortion, will often say contraceptives arnt 100% reliable, and that 'condoms split', and this is the reason why some women may need an abortion. This has been constant from females in the UK, the multi-tasking nonsense. Its actually a shit way to work, but they have put a positive spin on it, "WE females can do 3 things at once!". They simply cant concentrate on one thing at a time, and so they flit around from one thing to the other, and call it 'multi-tasking'. It takes them twice as long, and they dont do anything properly.
/r/MensRights26/05/12 05:38 PM
1

This is a mens issue because we've had to listen to females constantly go on about how they multi-task, and how great they are because of it, while at the same time impling that because males do one thing at a time, multi-tasking females are better. Constantly. All the fucking time. And it turns out multi-tasking is bullshit. Its better to do one thing at a time. Who would have thought females bullshit like that to hide their own failures and insecurities?

Women are (but not only) sexual objects. Infact most normal women love been looked at and admired on their looks alone. The best looking make a living out of it (porn or glamor modelling), the vast majority that are left have to be content with their husbands/boyfriends taking nude photos of them. That is sexually objectifying yourself. Feminists claim its everyone elses fault, when in reality, most women do it themselves.
/r/MensRights22/05/12 04:11 PM

Thats not the typical scenario though is it. People in society would simply not buy the story that she's been raped. And thats who you've got to convince (not us).

Or maybe quick to marry? I dont think thats the case. I think that women just naturally want to get out of marriage because they see marriage as a form of control. Add in the fact that women benefit from divorce financially, I think a strong case can be made that women are bailing because of their nature and the fact there are no penalties for doing so. yeah. Something completely unrelated to this thread, but still Im just going to put this idea out there... Bullying between teenage girls is a big problem. So women are quick to divorce. This is important because the fact that female-female marriages are far more likely to fail than male-male, gives us an effective argument against those women that try and lay the blame of heterosexual divorce at the feet of husbands. Its probably a form of 'playing hard to get' (and its observable even in situations where there are few/no men present). In this instance there's also the status game between the females themselves. In general, and in regard to males, females will play 'hard to get' because it filters out beta's (who lack confidence for one reason or another). I very much doubt the DM sat down in their offices and pulled it out of thin air, maybe a someone was playing a joke on them. The story was also reported in several other news feeds and not questioned. For you then to completely dismiss the DM? well then that smacks of opportunism on the part of those that dont like the DM reporting on female stories.

It may just be about sex for some of these female teachers, but I think it runs deeper than that. Women are child-ish. (Men are child-like). There's a big difference between the two. These female teachers that get emotionally involved with their teenage male students do it because women remain in a child-ish state there whole lives. Those female teachers could have sex with any man they wanted, and yet they chose teenage boys.

Gay bashing by straight men happens because women dont want effeminate men or gay men (and heterosexual men know this). And the fact that we blame and punish people for getting drunk, rather than blaming the person who had sex with a drunk person is what makes this an example of rape culture. In the case that a woman is passed out from alcohol, then that is rape. Barbarossaaaa had some interesting things to say on this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vETzvWL4M0Y&list=UUDoNFQZqQpd6aL32Ua4JPTQ&index=11&feature=plcp And then of course you've got your career feminist 'journalists' and women who work for the anti-rape organisations, who exaggerate the scale of the problem, but who may have diffe…

I will add that this girl may just have been playing her boyfriend. Women sometimes do that to make themselves appear more sexually desirable to boyfriends/potential boyfriends. So it could all be nothing. But talk to your friends, and if they didnt hear anything, I would suspect she was playing the boyfriend, at your expense.

If she does escalate, then you need to go on the offensive. You need to defend yourself. But your not at that stage yet. If she slapped you, and you punched her, somebody in that room must have seen or heard something. Thats why its important you talk to your friends.

Also, many of these womens groups put out misleading statistics. We've seen this happen in the UK, with WAR (Women Against Rape) and their use of the 6% 'conviction rate' myth. These stats then get consumed by the public and become 'fact' because they are repeated so often. (WAR have claimed over £200,000 in government funding since 2005...)

A rapist is a rapist. That doesnt even need to be elaborated on. The story is merely highlighting the fact that the mother encouraged it all. Well the mother is related to the girls, the rapist is not. You are meant to be able to trust your mother. A rapist? not so much. The mother drove the girls to a different location, told the girls to wear provocative underwear, and gave them alcohol, and encouraged the rapist, because she derived a sexual thrill from the abuse.

you can guarantee that every guy who wouldn't happily admit he's a rapist would just pack up his shit, apologize and go home? I think the guys that just get excited and go too far would stop, and I think they are in the vast majority. Then you would be left with the rapists, and of course, that would be rape. But you have made me think about the age of the female when this situation occurs. On reflection I take your point that a timid female under sixteen may freeze in that situation.
/r/MensRights14/04/12 04:47 PM

Why do you need your women to scream and fight back and try to leap through the window before you'll stop raping them? This just hysterical bullshit. I expect the female to put up some sort of resistence. Say "NO". SCREAM "NO" Which would be more than enough to put off non-rapist guys in situations which you describe as 'going too far.' I think most reasonable people would agree. Why don't the other studies prove [drink spiking] isn't a myth? Links for the studies please.

'Never frozen up from fear or adrenaline? Never wanted to leave but couldn't because you feared what would happen if you did?' That is not a good enough excuse to put a man through an accusation of rape and possibly jail. If you do not say something, how on earth is he (also drunk) meant to know. On so called 'drink spiking' at least two studies, one in Australia, and one in Wales showed that the blood tests of women that complained of being spiked had no date rape drugs in their system, only al…

'These "going too far" situations are quite normalized, because they often aren't seen as rape.' It isnt rape. Full stop. Its not ambiguous. All the female would have to do is scream and struggle and these so called 'rapes' you describe as simply 'going too far' would stop. Alcohol doesnt even seem to be an ambiguous area. I'd hazard a guess that the vast majority of cases involving alcohol the female consented at the time, but come the morning regrets it. And now its 'rape.' And then comes the …

The past influences the future. I've already got feminists lying about the '6% rape conviction rate' myth, and then re-framing that figure so they can carry on using it to fool the general public, and most people dont even know about it (yet), and they dislike feminism already. What makes you say that there is an objectification of everyone at a basic level? Because thats the way men and women are, at the biological level. Both sexes will screen faces/bodies to get an idea of their genetic health in regard to reproduction. And what makes you say that when you start deliberately sexually objectifying yourself, the media will respond? Well of course the media will respond, because thats what we're all interested in at the biological level. This is obvious stuff.. EDIT an…

Women have always sexually objectified themselves. Thats how they compete for male attention. The media and men may be complicit in this sexual objectification, but women themselves do it and benefit from it. If women didnt want to be seen as sexual objects, they wouldnt dress provocatively, or wear make-up, and then male and media attention wouldnt be at the level it is today.
/r/MensRights30/03/12 12:01 PM
1

There is an objectification of everyone, men and women, at the basic level, but when you start deliberately sexually objectifying yourself the way women do, men and the media will respond. Its not something I can provide a citation for, you either understand it or you dont. and its pretty simple. Muslim women dress modestly and behave, and so, they are not seen as a sexually objectified group.
/r/MensRights30/03/12 11:40 AM

Ehhh, evidence is needed before you can start saying stuff like that. Its obvious.
/r/MensRights30/03/12 11:29 AM

They are sexually objectifying themselves of their own free will. Nothing wrong with that. Then feminists need to stop accusing men and the media, when it is women that are doing it. If anything, men and the media are simply responding to womens own sexual objectification of themselves.
/r/MensRights30/03/12 10:55 AM

So women sexually objectify themselves, often for financial gain. Its something feminists may want to think about before they accuse everyone else (men, the media) of sexually objectifying women.

No, your not getting the point, nob-head, women will treat males they dont feel sexually attracted to in a worse way, than if they find you sexually attractive. Its not about 'getting laid', its about being treated as a human being (or not). And 'we here' discuss all aspects of male-female relationships. Who are you to tell anyone anything? First off, you should consider what attracted you to these women to begin with. Some women will appear normal at first then show themselves to be absolutely fucking crazy. Men should be wary of every woman, because a lot are crazy. Spend time watching them, looking at their facebook pages, who their are friends are, how their friends behave, etc. but its not a mans fault if some woman puts on a show, and many will do that.

I dont think you can make the same argument for the success or failure of the MRM. Women need men, men only want women (to steal someone elses saying).
/r/MensRights27/03/12 11:34 PM
2

I didnt say only anger, but a big part of it is anger. Injustice, and injustice from personal exerience makes men angry, and there are a lot of men that have been unjustly treated. They are our core.
/r/MensRights27/03/12 11:32 PM
1

Well, I think we're talking at cross purposes here, I would like to see more 'anti-feminists' than 'MRA's', because I believe feminism has to be torn down forcefully in the eyes of the general public, to stop the constant lies and distortions about what men are, and so how they feel about themselves. To tell men and boys that they have value, while feminism and society tells them otherwise is putting a plaster on things. We have to stop this at the source, and unfortunately thats going to requir…

Part of the problem with the MRM is complaints without solutions. Passion without purpose. You wont get solutions unless you are motivated to look for them, and thats where anger comes in with a lot of MRA's. There are men, such as myself, that are angry, sometimes we will express it for its own sake, other times use that anger to motivate us into trawling journals, news websites, government studies, even going out into the street and talking to other people. Anger doesnt just cycle, it can bran…

But angry speakers are not attacking them, they are attacking the feminists. I dont want anger all the time either, but its there in the male population, and a lot of angry men will be responsive to that. I think a critical point here is will an angry man be more comitted to the movement than someone who isnt really emotionally invested? Anger is a motivator, and I know I wouldnt be doing what I do if I wernt angry. I probably wouldnt be interested at all. So I dont think its right to say anger …

Well here we go again, I mean if you cant face someone telling you that you're wrong, then are you the type of person suited to fight feminism? Besides which, a lot of men like direct, angry pieces, just so long as there is truth to them, and they know its for their own good. It can actually spur them on. They might not accept it at first, but the emotional response will be having an effect in their subconcious. and I know for myself, any anger I feel coming from a speaker is not directed at me.…

I agree, and Im not against female MRA's, I think they are helpful. Im just against this idea that only females can come in and take the mens rights movement into the mainstream. I think what female MRA's will do is possibly soften the backlash against women as a sex, because most reasonable MRA's will acknowledge their contribution. EDIT actually I dont think thats quite right. I think female MRA's will earn the respect of the MRM and most MRA's, but I think that will probably not have any effe…

Look, let me say this to you: In this game, its about balls. If a Non-MRM male needs a female to hold his hand and guide him into the movement, then to me he is a waste of time, because he is not passionate enough. He will not have the balls to speak out about mens rights where its needed, down the pub, in the gym, to his friends, to strangers on the street. To young males on the street. We see this type of MRA all the time here, and I wonder why they are involved at all, because they dont show …
/r/MensRights27/03/12 08:26 PM

You see my problem with this is, how genuine and effective to the movement are these men that only respond to the problems of their own sex when its a female talking about it? If they really believed in mens rights, they would listen to the issues no matter who was saying it, and that makes me question wether they really have taken the red pill.
/r/MensRights27/03/12 08:12 PM
3

I disagree. We dont need female MRA's. Sure they help, but we dont need them. A lot of commited men joining the movement is what we need. Many dissenting male voices and MGTOW is where our power lies. Take a look at the on-line daily newspaper comment sections. I'd rather have 5 strong responses from males, than 1 reasonable response from a female.
/r/MensRights27/03/12 07:58 PM

I was getting to the root of the problem with some male MRA's, and that is we feel we dont need to ask permission, either directly, or indirectly through a female.
/r/MensRights27/03/12 07:55 PM
12

I accept what the video is saying, and its true, the mainstream are more receptive to female MRA's than they are to males. But the reason theres a resistence to female MRA's is because some men (myself included) reject the idea that we have to ask permission from women to have an opinion and to be heard. Even if that makes us less appealing to the mainstream. Its not a personal thing toward female MRA's, its just that we are sick of having to look to women for validation. So female MRA's shouldn…

And I'll just add, someone will write an article entitled 'A Feminist by any other name', and we'll shut that game down too. It will be seen as just one more example of how feminism operates. I think the reason most people have a problem is: A: The numbers of abortions. Could they have been prevented in the first place? I think most reasonable people do see the need for abortion in certain circumstances (rape, physical health reasons etc), but what I also think is that they see it happening through lack of education, teen pregnancies, in some cases as a fall-…

And just before someone breaks my balls, when I say 'Women know their rightful position in the heirarchy is below men', I mean generally. Im quite prepared to concede that some women are equal to men, certainly equal to the men that are resigned to their fate as lap dogs to women, and those highly annoying idiots whiteknights. But generally women are lower in the natural heirarchy.

I would think it was mothers that are more likely to give advice to sons than fathers, given that most men are still ignorant to the female of the species (given the image they fed by women, and elsewhere), but some are just plain resigned to their fate as males, they actually think women are better than them, and they are just glad to be in their company. But even mothers advice will be megre, because women dont want males to learn the truth about women (them). Women know their rightful positio…

I think it is illegal to abort in the UK for any other reason than potential harm to either mother or baby. Thats what Nadine Dorris, a member of the British parliament said today. but that's my opinion and my opinion doesn't trump somebody else's right to decide how to use their body. That would be fine it were just her body, but its actually about two bodies, a new life has been created, and that makes it all our business. But I agree that the time limit needs to be brought right down from 24 …

The women going for sex-selective abortion could very well include white British women 'family balancing' as it seems to be called. And its not just females that are being aborted, its males (as stated in the article). Simply because more females are being aborted than males doesnt mean its an exclusively female problem. Are white British women also aborting males (and females) to 'family balance'? We will have to wait for the details of the investigation. But an interesting aspect to this, whic…

Im not against abortion on health grounds, Im not against abortion when there are genuine contraceptive failures. What I am against is this idea that abortion in and of itself, is a contraceptive. Modern contraceptives are so effective, and yet half of all abortions are for non-medical reasons. There was a news story a few months ago that said abortions among 40-something year old women were rising sharply. Now why should that be the case?

Possibly working? Well thats another question. Should mothers be working when they have children that need them at home. If young females are getting pregnant at 12, 13, 14 (and we here in the UK have the highest rates of teen pregnancy in europe) perhaps thats the wrong time for mothers to be away from their daughters for long stretches of time. Also, its not about knowing your daughter is pregnant or not, its about educating them on the consequences of their actions if they choose to be sexual…

I can't answer that. If I were a woman and I found out I was pregnant and didn't want to be, I'd be at the doctor the next week at the latest. I cant understand it either. Sexually active women should be pregnancy testing regularly. I cant understand why the time limit should be so long that a fetus is half formed when aborted. Not to mention there is a lack of education with contraceptives Well in the case of teen pregnancy, I say where are the mothers? the one constant in these girls lives (no…

But if a woman is on the pill, and forcing a man to wear a condom, then statistically unwanted pregnancies should be rare.
/r/MensRights21/02/12 11:33 PM
-6

Its not comparable because its a gendered problem. Women get pregnant, men do not, therefore, it is a womans responsibility not to get pregnant. Theres also the fact that women can use the pill AND force a man to wear a condom, otherwise he doesnt get any nookie. It is women that allows an unsheathed (for want of a better word) cock into her vagina. Its her body that produces children. Women have safe, readily available contraception methods, and yet they are still having abortions.

Feel free to do whatever you like. But for anything to be aborted at 6 months, over half way through its development period to me, unless its for health reasons, is the killing of a baby. You can continue with your weasel words and red herrings and call it a 'fetus', but it looks like a semi-developed baby in a vulnerable state beginning the process of its life. There is something absolutely sickening wrong about ending the life of something healthy like that. And why should the time limit be 24…

You really should watch that documentary, or at least read the transcript, because you will see that the BBC interviewer goes and asks the ex-wife about one of the incidents in the doc, and she lies about it, which cements the fact in the viewers mind that the ex-husband is having a really hard time seeing his kids. The BBC make some great documentaries, and you could probably learn a lot from them.

Yes I've seen it, and its a very interesting documentary. In a survey for the rape charity 'The Havens', 1000 Londoners were asked their views on rape. 28% of those surveyed said that a woman was partly responsible for her rape if she was wearing revealing clothing. Now, 28% is a not a small percentage, but its far from a majority view The really interesting thing about it, is that more women than men held this view. The feminist argument that society as a whole blames victims of rape, and so contributes to a 'rape culture', is complete nonsense.

Well no actually its not that far fetched, because rejected women do make false rape claims. What exactly it is about the rejection, the deeper psychological reasoning, I dont know. But "Look at me, I've been deemed rapable by an attractive man", is quite possibly something which an unstable woman that makes this type of false rape claim thinks about. It may be secondary to the actual feelings of hurt and rejection, but I suspect theres something to it.

Mothers and women cling to children, because of the benefits of that relationship. A woman understands that a mans priority is his children, and so they latch onto that by linking themselves as 'primary care givers', and essential to the child. How many times have men seen this in their own lives. Women will not take responsibilty for their actions when confronted. Fantasy is fine. There's nothing wrong with fantasizing about anything, aslong as it stays in your head, its when you act on it, and cause harm to other people that it becomes a problem. In the case of rape fantasies, where women are constantly talking about rape in a faux-concerned manner (but really getting off on it in a primal sexual way), they exaggerate the scale of the problem to deflect attention away from them as women, and their own dark nature, onto men. If you point a finger at someo…

Exactly. Everything most men know about women is wrong, essentially. I was talking to a friend of mine last night, and he was saying that one of his married friends used to go out to clubs to pick up women on the side, but he always took his wedding ring OFF, which was a big mistake. That wedding band is a signal to women that some other woman has found a guy attractive enough to marry, so there must be something good about him.

We always hear the term caveman, and always implied is the male of the species. But actually, if any sex behaves in a primitive way, its women (not all of course, but generally. Look at paternity fraud, or female hypergamy). So I think cavewoman is actually quite a good descriptive of women, even today. They havent evolved the advanced 'human' traits that males have to (co-operation, sense of duty to the good of society, etc), because basically females manipulate males to get what they want. Tha…

Seinfeld, Cheers, or Frasier, are far and away better comedies than OFAH, which is THE most over-rated British comedy there is. Could the British have created something like The Simpsons? No chance. Its animation for a start, the sheer snobbery alone would mean the British wouldnt take it seriously. 'Its a cartoon.' British comedy relies on sexual innuendo and put-downs. Its a claustrophobic and depressing 30 minute take on life. Im not saying there arnt good British comedies, but they tend to b…

Only 28% of people survey in the recent survey done by The Havens rape charity in london thought a woman is partly responsible for her rape by the way she dresses, so the slutwalk's were either A: completely ill-informed, OR B: female's dressing like sluts because they are exhibishonists. It makes me laugh how the British look at America and say 'well! it is America!'. In the UK, they think that 8-10% of all rape claims are provably false allegations, so, the woman recants, or there is evidence from CCTV or mobile phone video that she is not telling the truth, etc. Now, what percentage are false allegations that cant be proven to be false, thats the real question. The friction between the sexes is a natural by-product of women being the engine of our species, but that engine has been allowed to run away. It needs to be tempered by a strong counter-force, that is a strong 'MRM'. Those that prattle on about egalitarianism, and working together, dont understand that that will never work, because the majority of women dont think in that way. While there are men and women, it will always be a battle, and both sides need to be strong for progression. The female…

Before the Stern review of rape last year, feminists were saying there was 'a low 6% conviction rate for rape'. After Stern clarified and explained why that 6% figure should not be used, the feminists re-framed the 6% figure as follows 'Only 6% of recorded rapes end in a conviction'. The very fact that have done this, reframed the 6% figure so that they can go on using it, should tell people that feminists will manipulate language and statistics to further their ends. The reason women havent been in this postion before, although there are those that argue that it has indeed happened before, Rome being the primary example, is because societies (those that we know of) have put a stop to it. Didnt three women win the nobel peace prize this year? http://www.nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/peace/laureates/ What really pisses me off is that if women dont win EVERYTHING, ALL THE TIME, then it must be unfair and misogyny. And as for the validity of this prize, after Barack Obama won it in 2009 for doing precisely fuck-all. well..

but of course men's rights activists didn't give a damn about that. Why the fuck should we? feminists dont look after us. Infact they actively try and harm men, boys, and do harm to society and civilization. The backlash you are seeing is from decades of feminism, and the way it has conducted itself. You wanted a war, you got one.

Women have been mouthing off for years about castrating men, probably since the dawn of time. If your finding little sympathy, then you need to look at the behaviour of your own sex before you start throwing stones. People are sick of you loudmouth women, and then to top it off, whenever anyone says anything to you, its 'misogyny!'

I dont think we can take female survey results, on the unique crime of rape seriously. I personally think these surveys are probably so wide of the mark, they're almost worthless, and worse, misleading. You look at the reasons for women making false rape allegations, and the estimates for that crime, and although not directly related, it gives us a glimpse behind the curtain that we cant just go on what females claim, I just think asking women their opinion is not good enough. Its highly irrespo…

Lip service, because they know its a situation that will never come about. The protection of the nation? no, its just another manipulation. They want to try and convince the public that women want to serve for our greater good, for us all, but in reality, its just manipulation, for a larger gain in their effort for 'Equality' (read: superiority) in other area's. From the article: bringing cases to trial and obtaining convictions is notoriously difficult, meaning that a mere 6% of rapists wind up doing jail time. Now, I dont know wether this woman is American or British, but the 6% 'conviction rate' myth is thrown around here quite often. Whoever is in control of sex and sexual reproduction needs to restricted. In the case of the west, women are in control, and they have no restrictions whatsoever. Men on the other hand, have no reproductive rights, if a woman commits paternity fraud, the man doesnt know it because theres no mandatory DNA testing. He has to pay child support, he is restricted from seeing his children. Men are held to a much higher standard than women, and they dont even control sex and sexual reproduction. And sh…

So feminists and women should be calling for mandatory DNA testing. If the feminists demanded it, it would be done. But they wont. Well the real world doesnt work that way, and its irresponsible for feminists to suggest it does, simply because of their/your ideology.

And where does the following quote include the word's 'short skirt'? Not that the above scenario is typical, but it just goes to show that feminists are not even prepared to concede that women need to take at least some precautions for their own saftey. It was a general comment on feminists not recognising that we all need to be aware of our own safety.

Gender studies, like the feminist definition of 'rape culture', is nonsense.
/r/MensRights29/10/11 10:57 PM

It could have been a short skirt, it could have been late at night. It was a hypothetical regarding feminist attitude toward personal saftey (or lack there of), something we all need to consider to keep ourselves safe.

Again, they blame the rapist for the rape, they blame the woman for wearing a short skirt in a bad part of town late at night. Thats not blaming her for the rape. Thats "well what do you expect?". Not that the above scenario is typical, but it just goes to show that feminists are not even prepared to concede that women need to take at least some precautions for their own saftey. The general public do not agree with feminism on many of the points feminism makes when it talks about 'rape culture'.
/r/MensRights29/10/11 10:33 PM

And they're still victim blaming. No they arent. They are calling her stupid for not knowing any better, but they arnt blaming her for the rape. They blame the rapist for the rape.
/r/MensRights29/10/11 10:15 PM
-7

There is no culture that finds making jokes about rape acceptable. There may be a few stupid people, but that's not widespread, thats not a 'culture'. Even if a person expresses a view that a woman should have known better than to walk down a bad neighbourhood at night in a short skirt, and she gets raped, they're still sympathetic to the rape victim. But feminists are having a one-sided discussion about what the definition of rape culture should be, including nonsense in that definition, and di…

So your definition of 'rape culture' is just about victim blaming? So why dont you call it that. Infact, why shouldnt the MRM take the term 'rape culture' and use our own definition, which encompasses not only the effect of society's attitudes towards women and rape (and why it holds the views it does), and society's attitudes towards men and rape? (and why it holds the views it does). would you agree that would be more productive, and give us a bigger picture of the problem? Because the way fem…

No it isn't. Yes it is. Its the presumption that all men are capable of rape, and that we live in a society that doesnt take rape seriously.
/r/MensRights29/10/11 09:26 PM
-13

The core of 'rape culture' is that all men are potential rapists and condone rape. Peripheral questions such as 'she shouldnt have been wearing that short skirt' are secondary concerns (of feminists). I happen to think all men being viewed as potential rapists is a bigger concern. But perhaps you would like to explain what you think of as 'rape culture'?

I'll just add one last thing before I go, do you really think that the 'powers that be' will roll back affirmative action for women? Its not going to happen. So there will be no true mertiocracy. The powers that be want women in the workplace as wage slaves, they aint gonna reverse that. Its more profitable to give women an advantage and make men work harder. We should be using affirmative action laws for our own benefit. Theres a reality here which I dont think you're getting.

I dont disagree that we should be fighting, but we've got to acknowledge the current situation we find ourselves in, if only that men recognise their own situation, and find motivation to join us. you cant simply say to men "yes you're warriors" because thats not how they feel, they need to know that its not only them that are feeling like shit, but a lot of other men are too. /r/MensRights29/10/11 05:41 PM

And how do you propose to do that? You offer no solid, practical solutions. Give us solutions to fight organized feminism, and state sanctioned misandry. Men need to reconstruct their masculinity 'Man-up' is not a solution to institutional misandry. Men need to know why they've become emascualted in the first place, and thats largley due to women and feminism.

Recasting terms like rape-culture EDIT Im going out, so I'll just give you my thoughts on this. No one is 'recasting' rape culture, because there isnt a 'rape culture'. 12,000 prosecutions for rape in England and Wales in 2008, 4,000 went to prosecution, 2,000 resulted in conviction. Even if you believe the 90% of rapes never get reported stat, thats hardly a rape culture. There are no feminist style victim MRA's. When we talk about the injustice's done to men and boys, thats not 'whining', thats drawing attention to the real inequalties faced by males today. Your title says 'male intruder'. That's not mentioned in the article. In fact, the words 'male' or 'man' do not appear on this page at all. I do blame women of all colours for encouraging male-on-male homophobic violence. I think women are the primary reason for homophobic tendancies in males, because males are given the subtle notion by women that gay men arnt real men. What these homophobic straight men dont realize is that women are manipulating them into feeling that way, to encourage men to prove they arnt gay. One of the ways men do that is try harder to get with a female, and of course, give them resources.

Because animal-males are as badly behaved as female animals. Its a way that females use to avoid being held to account. By encouraging males to be animal-males, they then wont hold women to account for their animalistic behaviour either. I think that picture is wrong. I think women drive a lot of the bad. They havent been passive bystanders, it may appear that they have, but really, females create the problems at the start of the line, directly and indirectly (through the nature of the male-female dynamic), and (some) men act out those problems with aggression and violence and get in trouble for it (rightly), but we really need to acknowledge what the root cause of the trouble is.

And it contributes to the 'misogyny' in society. Feminists would have us all believe that misogyny is unjustified, that society dislikes women just because, but misogyny actually comes from the way women behave and how they treat other people.

The only reason the government care about this issue of children accusing teachers, is because the vast majority of teachers are women. The government dropped the idea of giving anonymity to men accused of rape (after protests from womens organisations). These womens groups claim giving men accused of rape anonymity untill conviction would put genuine vicitims of rape off reporting. So will this measure of giving school teachers (women) anonymity untill charge stop genuinely abused school childr…

Women have created their own low status, because when given freedom, they harm everyone around them through destructive behaviour of one sort or another. And its only because so many women behave badly when given the opportunity, that it seems all women are a problem. If more women would actually stop misbehaving, men would have no need to 'oppress' (restrain) women as a group. The problem lies with women, and the solution to their restraint by men, is for women is to raise themselves up, and ho…

Theres another side to this kind of media circus, when an attractive woman is on trial. And who does all the money eventually find its way back to? Women. Wives. Women trade sex and relationships for money. Men (or in the case of war, a country) goes off and gets it so that men can trade with women. Even if you're talking about the tiny fraction of men that actually want to war, of which I think there are a relatively tiny number, the case can be made that its women that create them, since women have actively encouraged aggression in men through their sexual preferences.

There's a big debate about women and science, and the fact that feminists are trying to overblow womens contribution's in this area. Feminists are trying to give undeserved credit to women, but for the most part, the wives/daughters of scientists were simply the recorders of their husbands/fathers work. Men should evolve? what like controlling our emotions? Can women control their emotions? No, because they've still got one foot in the animal world. But see this is the thing, women and the feminists have put a spin on it, "We women are more intouch with our emotions, we women are emotionally intelligent. We are spiritually enlightened (!)" It doesnt really mean much though, if you're a cruel, heartless bitch, that enjoys emotionally harming other people. It makes me think of women and education…

Why do you have such a problem admitting and accepting that women can be just as violent as men? I think its because women are more prone to violent outbursts in everyday life than men are, and feminists want to bring us all down, so that blame cant be apportioned to women. They always have to say "Well men are blah blah too...", so that people think "Well, its ok then.", thus avoiding any blame whatsoever.

Maybe the other female primary school teachers were jealous of Mr Pullinger's popularity with the pupils. Mothers sometimes get jealous when small children prefer their father over them, because usually, the dad is more fun and the children cant wait to see him.

Let me cut through all the bullshit, to the real goal of UNWomen... Gender-based violence not only violates human rights, but also hampers productivity, reduces human capital and undermines economic growth. Thats what all this is about, putting women to work, and then taking the money back from them as consumers. The rich get richer, and we all have to put up with feminism, empowered women, and broken societies.

I propose that we implement teaching programmes in schools, which educate female children that its wrong to cause violence-by-proxy situations. For instance, its wrong to say that your last boyfriend hit you or raped you, when he didnt. I think we need to teach females at a young age, that its not acceptable to cause this type of conflict, simply for her own benefit or amusement.

And people try to tell me that women arnt assholes. I'd agree that you're a fucking idiot, because you do so much harm to the cause of feminism and women, its a gift. I honestly think you should post more of this, everywhere you can, as often as you can.

Im not saying men are not in part responsible, Im saying they are wound up in an anti-male environment created by females, where they are encouraged to see all the problems on this earth as of mans making. When these males have a problem, they lash out at other men. The problems begin with the female, not the male. And you dont think women as a class are anti-male? you heard about the battle of the sexes, right? Its not a joke as far as women are concerned.

Are you seriously suggesting that half the world population is actively trying to turn the other half on itself. Correct. In order for men not to turn on the real problem. Women.

Theres no escaping the double standard, and the message it sends out to women (and men) in general society. Women think they can get away with whatever they like already, playing the mental instability card, or the mother card. They dont even face prosecution a lot of the time. Women are not being punished adequately for the crimes they commit right now. In my experience and observation, if you dont actively discourage women from behaving badly, it actually encourage's them to behave badly. In m…

I dont like the idea of banning people in general, but this redditor keeps creating new threads with titles of older comments. Cant they be prevented from creating new threads? only allow them to post replies in already open threads?

Why has this even been posted on this discussion board? Most people here are from the US and europe, not China or Africa. Go to a chinese or african sub and explain to them that you think they are doing the wrong thing, and that you disapprove. The truth is, this has been posted for cynical reasons, so that feminists from the US and the UK can say "Look! females have it tougher than males!", so as to say to us, that the problems faced by males in the US and europe are not important and should be…

I go out to universities and colleges with 80-100 printed A4 fact sheets. I leave them on seats on the train on the way there, hand them out to male students in the streets in and around campus, I even go in and blu-tak them to the mirrors in the toilets, I pin them on the notice boards. If any man here feels unsatisifed with internet activism, I can tell you that actually going out and handing A4 facts sheets to other men is incredibly satifying. Its something every MRA should try.

This is the kind of nonsense that feminists throw at people. I think they do this to confuse, and then shame people, because you cannot be sure what they mean, but you as the reader come away thinking you must be in the wrong (partly because you dont understand, but its because what they are saying is pure nonsense). And so you walk away not challenging them. Thats what they want. Thats the object of their little game. Sorry girls, but its not going to work.

Stern needs to be there for the UK, its the most recent document on rape/false rape. She suggests 8-10% false. In my opinion, thats base-line, it is almost certainly higher. But Stern says 8-10%.

Hmm, I got the full article before, but now I dont. Seems to work ok by clicking through google, but not copy+pasting the link here. . Men are biologically wired to care for their children, a new study suggests. The study, led by Northwestern University researchers, followed a large group of men in their 20s and found testosterone levels fell after they found partners and became fathers. Testosterone is the primary male sex hormone thought to contribute to behaviors and other traits that help me…

That quote is such shit. There wouldnt be a need for a patriarchy, if women were adult human beings, capable of behaving themselves. It all starts with women. Its as fucking simple as that. Now, what happens if there is no patriarchy? or hierarchy? we get kaos, because women use it (as they are right now) to create their own narcissitic society based on their sex lives. Which along with it come's violence and everything else. Patriarchy exists because its needed. And it may harm men, but no patr…
