That's even more interesting since red-heads are a decreasing minority - so if liberal people (or sjw or w/e you want to call them) were about diversity, would it be even more logical to keep Mary Jane as a red head? Oh wait..... ...logical.... nvm

Sure, but still. I've owned beta fish.... and if this kid was SO EMOTIONALLY attached to his beta fish, he needs to get a fuckin dog, or have a chat with a counselor.

I'm no economist, but I wonder how this affects averages wages. if women are less likely to earn a higher wage (based on several factors - look it up) then I suppose men's wages are also hurt because of this, especially when there are more and more women in the workforce. Additionally, simple supply and demand: more people in the workforce = depressed wages. Any economists out there that can comment?

Last sentence of the article: Some of the mommy must-haves include wet wipes, kids' TV shows, tablets and drive-thru meals. So.... can someone explain how tv, video games, and picking up fast food factors into the "98 hour work week" of the average mother?

Fuck that shit. I am almost all of those things (not Christian or Canadian) and I've had to work my fucking ass off to get my education, stay debt free, etc. In fact, I live in a heavily homogeneous city, so if anything I've had to work harder to stand out considering everyone else has the same "PRIVILEGE" as I do. I've been earning income since I was in 4th grade, starting with a paper route. Don't give me that bull shit about un-earned social power.

Hm... Sounds great... Honestly? How do they still make money? There have been re-makes after re-makes since then, they're not innovative anymore, they're the old has-been; no wonder they got a has-been to try to reboot the has-been.

That's a good point. Plus, I can't remember what the most up to date statistic is, but something like 70% of black babies are born to a single mom. 70%!!! Now... something leads me to believe that the part of this demographic that could make most use of Jordan's book won't actually read about it, or even hear about it, but still! Like I said in one of my previous comments, I think he's on to something.

"It is shallow -- in the sense of..." Ah, ok, I got you, now. Maybe, maybe. Like I said, I haven't read his book and don't intend to. I've only listened to a few things where he's talked about "manning up". It doesn't seem all that unreasonable or farfetch'd. Shallow? I dunno... maybe... useful regardless? Maybe. I don't consider his book part of his success, I'm referencing his Youtube presence, his invitations to various interviews that do not even touch on his book, or the book's content. ps:…

I know men weigh more too but at the same time society/women in general arent as forgiving if you are fat man. And fat men aren't demanding society not call them fat.... and somehow claim they're healthy.... and somehow claim they're attractive....

Yes, I know that his book essentially is the beacon of his "man up" material/argument. I think you missed my point in that his book not obscurely deep (like many theorists and "smart people" like to be) because he doesn't need or want to be. Of course this is simple conjecture - I haven't even read the book and I do not intend to - but maybe he made it attainable for more average people because that's exactly who he's trying to reach. I think that he's gaining momentum not because he's a revolut…

So I read the paper the fourth professor wrote on gendered syallabi. Her argument is essentially that 1: the language professors use in syllabi establishes a power dynamic (professor has knowledge, professor teaches the students knowledge) and is sexist because 2: knowledge and truth is masculine and part of the male hierarchy. Apparently females view knowledge as static and changeable, so the fact that a professor uses specific verbiage to establish a power dynamic in the classroom denotes that…

Hm. I don't think I agree with you about him being a whiney blue-pill boomer, but everyone's entitled to their opinion. I don't really follow his religious stuff and "man up" stuff, but I have (I think) heard his basic premise of his book and it seems like he might be onto something. I wouldn't necessarily call it revolutionary or ground breaking or anything, but maybe a wake up call of sorts? I'd suppose that what you ridicule him of might be exactly his desired direction: attainability.

...for males to demand women to shower twice a day to "smell nice" for them? Huh? Honestly? Quite a few women I've talked to admit that they don't even shower daily.... But suddenly men are demanding showers twice a day lol? Why does dry shampoo exist? Well... one reason is certainly to avoid showering and getting your hair wet... Idiots... honestly, it's funny to see women create their own facade of oppression by pulling bull shit like this out of their asses.

I didn't know that, so I'll concede that bit. I maintain my point in that a business degree is undoubtedly not the same as something like gender studies.
/r/MGTOW12/03/18 08:26 PM
1

I don't think anyone is suggesting that a business would do so... A business degree does not qualify one to manage anyone at all. I just think it's irrational for the title to use "useless degree" when business degrees - albeit "a dime a dozen", as another person said - aren't the typical degree in reference when the phrase "useless degree" is invoked, or anywhere near the stereotypical "useless" degrees like gender studies and whatnot.

Well... I dunno about an echo chamber, but I think that a lot of people fall into a bit of an emotional trap when seeing certain headlines or phrases or keywords, rather than looking at something intelligently, logically, and critically; there is an evident propensity to behave, as a group, similar to the very thing many people are against: in a female manner, emotional. Case in point: the recent submission here with the title regarding a girl getting a "useless" degree and was now suing her uni…

The article said that the uni was the most complained about in the UK that year (or last year, or some relevant year to the article) - receiving 992~ complaints or something like that. So.... I suppose it's a low-end school, but still, it's not the school's fault she didn't seamlessly transition into a job immediately after she walked off the graduation stage. Shocking, right? I know, but "free stuff if someone finds them attractive" applies to Much more than courtship - which is why I specifically wanted to specify courtship as its own privilege. Example: A sexy looking girl flirting with a cop to get out of a ticket, or wearing appealing clothing to catch men's attention to excel at the workplace, or (and I'm guilty of this as well - as a carpet installer) men being more generous to attractive women in general, ie: I'd be more willing to go the extra mile for a hot …

/r/MGTOW11/03/18 01:20 AM

A few extra off the top of my head: Women have the privilege of precedence of safety over men during a disaster ("Women and children first!") Women have the privilege of demanding and expecting to be given free things during courtship (the man pays). Women have the privilege of inferred and socially expected/demanded "chivalry" from males.

I disagree. It's entitled and spoiled women thinking they can eat their cake and fuck it, too.

They are useless in fixing shit themselves and are the first to make that call, but they cannot be bothered to even check on how the cable wiring is done or how the plumber works his job. In a way, I personally appreciate that. I'm a carpet installer and I make an easy hundred bucks doing 5 mins of work for people that don't want to. Honestly, a big part of it is simply not having the tools to do something.... although I suppose that's generally more the man's position rather than the woman's.

This is the case for virtually all liberals, or anyone arguing liberal agendas. People are so terrified of getting labeled sexist, racist, fascist, nazi, etc. that they don't actually talk about issues. Plus, liberals threaten to label people and it instantly shuts down discourse. It's fear tactics and you can't accomplish anything through it except cultivate extremism.

I think it'd be more comprehensive if he added in info regarding teach gender ratios for the various districts that this info was gathered from. Of course he's not really able to do so (at least easily), since he was just googling for news headlines, but still. I think that with a lot of myths and bull shit talking points feminists and cucks have, there are a variety of statistics thrown around. It's illogical and ignorant to contrive or over-focus on incomplete numbers.

I've listened to the first 40 mins and it's boring as hell. The evolutionary biologist throws down some biologically agreed-on and proven phenomena, and the feminist lady has virtually nothing to say. It's like James Damore and the biologist don't have much to say because after they've said a few solid points, there's really no way to refute it. Hopefully the Q&A will be more interesting.

I think it's more of an issue of scare-tactics. Everyone is so afraid of being titled a Nazi, a sexist, a misogynist, a racist, or even white, privileged, and male. SJW (and commonly with general Liberal people) simply scoff and threaten or slap a label on people whose ideas do not match their own, and immediately shut down and avoid any type of interaction with contrary viewpoints and opinions. Read the dialogue in the photo, it makes it even worse. The guy didn't even get inside her for 5 seconds, he might have tried to put his dick in her for 5 seconds, but he claims she said multiple times that "it won't go in" while he was trying. They didn't even fuck.

gender equality only exists when it is convenient Exactly. Women actually do have different genes than men that determine fat distribution and storage. But noooooo, both sexes are the same blablabla. So much of the liberal bullshit going on right now is based on everything being a social construct with a few distorted and cherry picked science-based "facts". Sorry, that's not how it works.

That reminds me of a video I watched a few days ago of Jordan Peterson debating two ladies (a lawyer and a (feminist) professor) regarding free speech and the Canadian Bill C16 regarding transgender equality. The feminist professor was harshly criticizing Jordan's academic approach to his position - stating that the videos of his lectures he put online (and his other material) were amateur and absurd. She then went on to recommend several academic and peer-reviewed sources of feminist literature…

As for the UK being lost to liberalism, that's not so much related to Brexit I know, I was just using it as a possible reflection of the political demographic of the people - ie: there being a size-able right leaning population. So my understanding is that the state is forcing liberalism, but there's a bunch of old people that are right-leaning and fucked over the young people through the Brexit referendum. But.... the liberalism (that young people also agree with) created a huge influx of forei…

Ok, ok. So to sort of begin wrapping back to my initial question - I attributed the pro-Brexit voters to be more right in their political leanings, is this not the case? I've heard that one factor is immigration - is that accurate? I'm actually looking for a new pc/laptop right now, and from what I've gathered, it's worth it to get 1060 or even 1070, rather than 1050. 1050 seems to be the weakest of what's new, so if your budget can handle it - and if it takes an extra month or two to save up a smidgen more, so be it - I'd go for a 1060 or 70. Having said that... I don't know enough about hardware to say how a higher-end gfx card would interact with the rest of the machine, but I suppose it'd be just fine? I might be wrong…

The archetypes in the photo are hilarious. Center front: standard feminist, short hair, giant smile because she's proud of what she thinks was a huge accomplishment but is ignorant and oblivious to anything but patriarchy. Center back: mild feminist, she's one that listens to all the headlines and talking points and is perfectly willing to pick and choose her buffet of "male privilege" that she thinks she deserves. Do you think that might be connected with one reason why there aren't more females in higher positions? So many women think that they should be given positions, rather than working hard for them. So many women think they can "trade [sexual] favors" for career advancement, rather than hard work. Then.... they get in higher positions and what do they look for, hard work? No, they look for what they had to do to get to where they are.

I watched the video (someone linked it here in the comments) and I found a few things pretty fascinating: Once Tucker pipes up, it was odd to me hearing the woman "stick up" for men and the man criticize men. I don't know when this segment aired, but the Youtube video I watched was posted back in 2014. I wonder what the psychologist would say about the same issue today and how/if the percentages they began with are different.

I had a conversation with a lady a while ago, essentially about this very same thing. She was adamant that workplace environments are completely sexist and yada yada yada because the men demanded her and she was obligated to spend thousands of dollars on work clothes that were nice and matched and fashion this and fashion that and blablabla. I just rolled my eyes and chuckled with every new response she gave lol

Ultimately, it just comes down to good genes. You can roid yourself to death, but not everyone looks the same with a lot of muscle - or feminine physiques like hip/waist ratio and whatnot. It's just retarded that somehow only women are fragile enough to actually be affected by this - or think that they are.

That's excellent, dude. Honestly? That's DEFINITELY worth it, imo. Getting through school without a mound of debt is uncommon and already puts you financially ahead of so many other people. It's nice, man :). I've always been the independent type - even as a toddler - and they usually charged me rent when I lived there, but would usually let me use the food and utilities around the house. I actually bought a lot of food on my own - particularly during the latter prat of living at home - so I was actually pretty darn independent while still living there, too. Anyways, ya, it's nice. So you're talking about pretty extreme cases, then, in relation to the law being involved? It seemed like from your post that you're thinking that obligations and expectations of people choosing to have a child would be very stringent - but these few responses seem to suggest a bit less so.

Mine's been like that for as long as I can remember. As I became more of a mature person as an adult, I started realizing how much of a negative person he is (and his mother) and that I had adopted similar behaviors and characteristics. psychological trauma due to horrible parenting, then they would be responsible for hurting the child. Ya, so how do you quantify that? A few different psychologist opinions? And what punishment or consequences are we talking about in relation to the parent? Since there is an element of nature and freewill, how much responsibility is actually theirs?
/r/MGTOW27/01/18 09:50 PM

This is the responsibility of a parent. If they fail, they should be duly prosecuted. This is the line that I'm interested in. Here are a few questions: How do you quantify "failing"? Also, how does 'freewill' factor into the equation? By all means, maybe I inferred something incorrectly or am reading between the lines too much, but I think that humans are a mixture of both nature and nurture. Therefore, if the parents are essentially responsible for the nurturing of the child, there is still th…

This thought became more and more prominent as the video went on: a lot of people around here comment on how women don't have hobbies, don't have anything besides sex to offer a relationship, etc. This video makes me think that a woman's hobby is a relationship, is searching for some elusive and imagined "love" is what defines their lives. This is odd... I understand the "target market" Muslims would be looking for, but it doesn't make too much sense to me why they would think it a good idea to find that type of person here. It seems like a lot of mgtows are more open to challenging ideas/stereotypes/etc and thinking a bit more critically instead of being spoonfed bullshit. It seems like more people here are here because they've been burned by women - or have close experience and therefore have 2nd degree burns - not because men h…

My point is that your nice list of homemaker's responsibilities - and it doesn't seem like you're being sarcastic - can't even be handled by my mom. My live-in gf (i've recently found this sub/notion) doesn't work and demands that I do a fair share of the chores around the house.

my dad did grocery shopping because my mom couldn't stay in budget, us kids would do a large chunk of cleaning the house via chores, we'd do all outside work via saturday chores, we'd do our own laundry by our early teens, and by our teenage years cooked a surprising amount of our own meals. But she was almost always on time when driving carpools!

By all means, people that demand others speak English in America are ignorant, but at the same time... the counter-argument that Americans should actually speak some native language is just as ignorant. That's not how societies and countries function

We went to lunch. My intentions were purely professional. I thought this was a way to get real-world constructive advice. Who here believes her? Ya, that might be an extra tidbit, or is she maybe looking for a more 'pleasureable' method of advancing in the professional world - regardless her new job?

Put your foot down. A lot of people are talking about running away and what not... ya, that might (or probably) be the way to go, but at the very LEAST you need to put your foot down to survive the next bit of time. Running away is not an immediate action, especially with a kid on the way, so just think of yourself and put your foot down, end of story.

Maintaining the moral high ground is utterly crucial.Maintaining the moral high ground is utterly crucial. I dunno.... a week or so ago I read a topic here about a guy that just went through a divorce and was sick and tired of taking the high road since it only led to him getting fucked over. He decided to be brutal and ended up with a pretty decent outcome at the end of it all.

Ya man, I'm getting my beta briefs all in a tussle, aren't I? lol What happened to you? In this string of responses you're oddly aggressive about the matter... makes one think that you're actually the one with some underlying issues. Is there something you need to get off your chest?

That's a pretty dumb statement. You realize that many people need to actually take the red pill at some point in time, right? The people here that are married, how many of them do you think found out about this sub or the mgtow movement 1, 5, 10, or even 20+ years into their marriage?

+1 Successful streamers aren't just playing video games, they're applying small business techniques and strategies in a different way. They need to innovate, know/analyze their audience, maintain relevance, etc. There are definitely skills which one develops by becoming a popular streamer - and maintaining the success - which translate over into the professional world quite well.
/r/MGTOW20/11/17 02:55 AM

DITCH HER! Tell your buddy that we're all behind him. What game does he play/stream? I'd give him some advertisement in the little circles I frequent.

Wait, he needs to wait 15 years and THEN make a huge deal about it and fuck her life up.
/r/MGTOW20/11/17 02:02 AM

Why not? Was it the whole "enslaved that bitch until the loan was paid in full" part lol?
/r/MGTOW17/11/17 07:07 AM

I suppose, ya... but that's not really the point of what I'm trying to highlight here. Let's say one, or both, of the kids next to him were boys. If they see shit like that happen, how can they grow up in a healthy manner with strong masculine traits? The next generation is fucked
/r/MGTOW16/11/17 06:41 PM
1

Ya but that's not the point I'm trying to point out. The question I'm essentially asking is: how fucked up is the upcoming generation of males going to be? It's wonderful that this mgtow movement is happening, but most all of the men it affects (imo) did not grow up in such a gynocentric society.
/r/MGTOW16/11/17 06:40 PM
1

WOW
/r/MGTOW16/11/17 06:37 PM
1

Right, right, I know that. But still.... I feel like in this specific story, I'm missing a crucial part of it. Was the wife there? It seems very cut and dry here. Man comes home to thieves, he gets his weapon to protect his stuff.... Did the hired guys say that they were from his wife? Was she taking "her" stuff that was decided upon in the divorce? It just doesn't make ANY sense....
/r/MGTOW15/11/17 10:36 PM
1

Duluth model look it up. Police are taught it in many places. It states that men are always at fault in a domestic case essentially. Yes, yes, I know. How is this a domestic case, though? Was the wife actually there? I feel like I'm not getting the whole story, here....
/r/MGTOW15/11/17 10:29 PM
4

That's so fucking backwards, I have no idea how gynocentrism has any impact on that....
/r/MGTOW15/11/17 04:08 AM
9

Okay so wait wait wait...... he comes home to see guys stealing his shit, so he gets his weapon to force them off his property... and HE gets fucked over???
/r/MGTOW14/11/17 10:56 PM
3

Wait, what? What would he have a criminal record for...?
/r/MGTOW14/11/17 09:28 PM

Ya, ya, I get that; but do guys actually do it?
/r/MGTOW12/11/17 07:24 PM

I haven't done "all this research", I have simply watched some youtube videos lol
/r/MGTOW12/11/17 07:19 PM

"no board to jump onto" - alright, that's cool. The second half of your response seems to be... I dunno how to describe it.... A warning against hooking up, maybe? by all means, I'm not one to jump in the sack with any chick that bats her eyelashes or whatever, but I still like having sex, quite a lot. Are there guys that forego having sex with women altogether?
/r/MGTOW12/11/17 09:05 AM

Is this serious? How can anyone read that and find any sort of reason....
/r/MGTOW12/11/17 08:59 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
