It’s like a couple hours of pain?? A good mile takes weeks and sometimes months of consistent pain? How are they the same? One shows dedication, work ethic, and consistency, the other is just showing up

Dumbest analogy ever. You can book an appointment and get a tattoo today. No effort required
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/23 03:16 AM

How? Anyone can go and get one lol

Some ppl think having a tattoo is an achievement

I have a friend in med school who’s yet to go on his first date. Meanwhile criminals are fking daily. Really sad stuff
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/23 05:30 PM

I mean not really, unless you count arranged marriages and the women there don’t have the option to date white guys
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/23 08:53 AM

Sooo this might sound pathetic but this random girl added me on Snapchat and then I found we go to the same high school and we just texted a bit, like basic stuff, catching up. But man I forgot how exciting it was to receive messages from a girl. Like hell, I barely remember how this girl even looks, but just the interaction itself is such an exciting feeling idk.

The Fitzpatrick skin type scale isn’t discussed enough. As a type 6, it definitely does affect your life negatively but everyone wants to act like they don’t see color or whatever

How does balding not appear in your pics?? Autism I get, but height can also be perceived from pictures if you’re barely 5 feet
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 09:09 PM

Bruh exactly where are these mythical women 🤣. Each of them has about 200 simps vying for her attention. I have female friends that constantly complaint why can’t find a decent guy. Where is the math going wrong?

Sure, I get what you’re saying but with dating apps, women can quite literally not only match with a man across the country, but across the globe. Also, your example just sounds like you live in a bubble. I’m 23 and make over half a million and my friends of similar age also do well or even better than that, but I realize living in Greenwich village, it houses some of the wealthiest and most successful people, even though I’m below average here I wouldn’t go around calling ppl who make 60k or wh…

This is one of the worst analogies I’ve ever heard lol. I’m not going to argue statistics with you. It’s similar to men wanting a woman who is relatively young, in shape, has a basic education, and a good personality. Each of these qualities alone is average but to find that in 1 person who also happens to be single and is attracted to you is exceedingly rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 07:06 PM
1

Do you understand the concept of mutual exclusivity? Having all those one factors on a guy would NOT make him average lol. This guy would probably be top 10% at least.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 06:53 PM

The problem with your hypothetical scenario is that even the fat chick wants handsome randy
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 06:25 PM

You wouldn’t understand. Until you’ve lived one day in our shoes. Some women have been shocked that I could be capable of having a crush on them
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 05:01 PM
1

Thanks for the reply! I definitely get what you mean. Seems like a lot of ppl these days just wear the same generic shoes (running shoes, white airmaxes, adidas shoes, etc),
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 04:50 PM

It’s cause a lot of women have never heard “no” or gotten rejected in their life. Or it happens once to them and they never try again. To get rejected again and again will break any human being. It is a gut wrenching feeling that you can’t come back from.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 04:37 PM

What makes you think talking to women will help these guys? Have you seen incels? They usually have one really bad feature that makes them that way, whether it be being like 5’1 (as a man), balding, facial deformity, wrong ethnicity, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 04:28 PM
1

When you say he has “almost no chance”, do you mean of ever losing his virginity? Or of getting laid to an attractive woman? A 4/10 is close to average isn’t it?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 04:25 PM
1

Ok fine, then 85-90% go for white men and then the ones who are too ugly for that settle down with some beta provider Asian guy. There
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 04:24 PM

She could still marry a rich guy and live happily ever after. This would never happen if the genders were reversed

If you are assumed to not have a penis, you are not a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 04:08 PM

When they say “average”, they mean a 5’10+ decent looking white guy with his own apartment, car, and has decent confidence. That’s average to them
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 04:06 PM
1

Women of our own ethnicity go exclusively for tall white men, so to answer your question, yes, we’ve definitely tried
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 04:04 PM

The guy on the left is still decent lol. I don’t think you’ve actually seen ugly guys before
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 04:03 PM

Hella overrated fr. Only those weirdo white dudes that want a submissive “baka” like them
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 04:01 PM

I mean I’m just saying, making blanket statements and saying it’s the “bare minimum” doesn’t make sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 03:11 PM

Next life I wanna be born a white woman. I’d put on some makeup and have simps pay for my entire lifestyle.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 03:10 PM
1

Yep, couldn’t have said it better myself. Really weird stuff. And yeah I also find it funny when people only call out white guys for having “yellow fever” when it seems to me like Asian women are the ones heavily pursuing white guys. It’s almost like they’re using you guys as trophies and to post on social media.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 05:06 AM

It’s hilarious, I have a female cousin that has a PhD in math from a top school and a great career, but the one thing she and her parents constantly brag about is her 6’2 white fiancé
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 04:40 AM

What even is a winner? I’ve thought about it a lot. A gold medalist Olympian? Just a generic rich guy? Someone who is doing what they love? A hot dude?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 04:36 AM
1

Just drink water and take a shower guys
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 04:30 AM
1

Yup, same experience here in NYC. Tons of tall white guys holding hands with their Asian girlfriends. It’s become the default. Even among my own south Asian family (and friends), all the women consider it to be a huge flex/privilege to marry a tall white guy. Asian guys are increasingly becoming sexless, especially south Asian men.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 03:42 AM

It’s absolutely yellow fever. I’ve seen it among my own friends

Are any of us richer rn? Market is dropping like it’s hot, wages are stagnant, unemployment is rising, etc. I just try not to check my portfolio rn, personally

Cause this 1 woman represent millions and millions of others
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/22 10:19 PM

A lot of rich guys desire companionship eventually. At least ppl in his country have a chance, and all you need is a car. In the US, the bar is way higher. Some women even expect their partner to own a home in his 20s, and at least where I live, nearly every home costs 1M+
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/22 09:12 PM
2

I don’t think that’s necessarily true. Unless you’ve got the Rolex and the Lambo, wealth doesn’t matter. No one that makes 600k is gonna say that. It’s such a random, specific number. If the guy made 7 figures ig you could slip that in as a flex and fully knowing you’d attract gold diggers
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/22 09:10 PM
2

🤣🤣🤣. So true dude. These poor redditors boggle my mind. I make over half a million and it has not mattered one bit
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/22 06:04 PM
11

That sucks but at least you’ve got a chance if you get money. Here in the US, you’ve got to be a multi-millionaire for money to matter since nearly everyone owns a car
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/22 04:42 PM
1

My argument is against the desire for marriage. A lot of men seek marriage because it’s a nice way to get companionship, emotional connection, a partner in life, etc. I’m just saying that doesn’t mean they don’t desire to have sex with multiple beautiful women. It’s like how I want to do cocaine to get that high feeling, but it’s illegal and awful for your health so I don’t do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/22 04:14 PM
1

He does what he wants because he’s one of the few who doesn’t care about his public perception, but he’s still been the butt of a lot of jokes recently and has been criticized a lot. And like I said previously, they choose to get married because it looks better in the public. They’ll probably get better movie and branding deals being married than being a 40+ year old single dude. Also, a lot of Hollywood relationships are open.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/22 03:52 PM
1

Yeah but what we men find beautiful is a huge range. Probably 20-30% of the women I see on a daily basis are attractive to me, whereas for women I’m sure that’s closer to like 1%
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/22 03:51 PM
1

They’re in the public eye. Look what’s happening to DiCaprio. Celebs care a lot about image, and society still pressures all of us to settle down with 1 person eventually. These guys also cheat a lot within their relationship which is why divorce and break-up is so common in Hollywood
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/22 03:48 PM

Does any straight guy ever think, “what if I asked X girl out, would she have said yes?”. There are times when I actually wonder if I missed out on so many chances with women. On the one hand, an inner voice tells me that they would’ve wanted a taller and better looking guy anyway, and I didn’t stand a chance so no regrets. But on the other hand, I’ve heard that a lot of women will give respectful and decent looking guys a chance, like at least 1 date and see where it goes from there. Also, some…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/22 08:48 AM
1

I hate to say it, but if the avg man could have sex with multiple beautiful women….well goodbye monogamy. There are just way too many stunning women out there. The biggest barrier is just that women are picky
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/22 08:43 AM

Really hope there’s some positive answers in here. As an early 20s guy, I need something to at least look forward to. Pls tell me it eventually gets at least a tiny bit better…

Is it common to sleep with your friends? I only just realized in certain social circles, many of the people have slept with each other whether it be a drunken night, or “just for fun”. This to me is shocking. I’ve been friends with people for over a decade and I would never consider even kissing them.

Definitely not conventionally attractive by Eurocentric standards. Just…there. Like a background character
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/22 12:56 AM

Isn’t asking someone out just a very abstracted way of saying “I wouldn’t mind having sex with you?”

There are so many complications that I can’t really type all of them out: https://www.webmd.com/guide/pregnancy-after-35#091e9c5e800084f7-1-2 I think it’s important that women try their best to find a good partner and have kids before 35, that’s all I’m saying. Or be childless. Both options are fine. But it’s important to be aware of the real consequences of actions
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 07:14 PM
1

They won’t even pity date you. The amount of average guys acting like they are unattractive is astounding to me. If you are able to go on dates, you are not unattractive. If you were actually ugly like me, you’d feel completely invisible. It’s actually a cool feeling once you get used to it, you’re like Casper the Ghost
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 05:20 PM
1

At what age does it become weird that a man hasn’t kissed a girl before? How about gone on a date? Are these 2 different? Would you immediately think something is wrong with this guy, or would you think maybe he hasn’t found the right person?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 05:17 PM
1

Is it weird if someone is an “incel” even though they are tall, fit (go the gym regularly), have a great career (250k+), and good personality (lots of friends and gets along with others easily). What do ppl here think of when they hear “incel”? Some Cheeto-fingered basement dweller?

What are men’s expectations?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/22 06:55 AM

Am I the only man here that prefers taller women? Like 5’7+? Why would I want short kids? That would be like diluting my genes. Always weird when I see father daughter type couples, one super tall dude with a midget girl
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/22 06:52 AM

Be a tall white guy. You could be homeless and women will still throw themselves at you 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/22 06:39 AM

Well don’t ppl hold these opinions irl? I’ve heard them directed toward myself and ppl of my ethnicity. Why lie and act like this doesn’t happen?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/22 05:47 AM
2

But why? There are sexist, homophobic, transphobic, misandrist, etc comments in this sub but anything even a mile away from racism isn’t allowed?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/22 05:39 AM
1

Why can’t ethnicity be discussed on this subreddit? I feel like it’s the most important part of dating in 2022, especially for men
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/22 05:31 AM
1

Maybe I’m not reading this right, the flair for this question is “Question for Men”. And maybe no women wants to be with them currently, but that doesn’t hold for all eternity
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/22 03:29 AM

I mean it’s also biased with blue pilled weirdos and simps, I just found it odd that you chose to attack one group of people.

So nearly a million a year? That’s like a minor celeb
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/22 04:57 AM

Idk why but today I woke up feeling really happy and confident with myself. Even if I’ve not had much success with dating, I know that I’m a prize and I’m doing well. And I’m so lucky to have a great family and an awesome group of friends I can always count on to cheer me up. Plus I feel like next year is going to be a good one, regardless of if I date or not
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/22 02:54 AM

Wow a haircut can really make a difference. I just got a terrible one and went from a solid 2/10 to a -3/10 grotesque ogre looking thing :(

Absolutely, and I don’t understand why that’s hard to follow but why a guy who doesn’t want a women who clearly doesn’t see sex as sacred or special is a big immoral problem. Sexual compatability is extremely important. Why is it problematic that a guy with low N count prefers not to be with a high N count woman? No judgement passed whatsoever, but clearly one has more sexual experience than the other, and these differing attitudes toward something so important to a relationship should be consid…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/22 12:02 AM
1

That’s fair, but I could also say that as a guy against the dating preferences women have for men. I think there’s a moral element to it as well. Particularly adherence to Eurocentric standards
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/22 11:44 PM
1

Why not just ignore it and find someone who doesn’t mind a high N count?? That’s what guys are forced to do every single day lol. We just move on and try our luck for partners who will accept us
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/22 11:01 PM
1

I think the main problem I have is the double standards. Seems like women can have 100 different preferences, a lot of them things that can’t change, like height, ethnicity, hair color, eye color, or whatever, but a guy has one preference which is basically don’t be the town bicycle and everyone is up in arms about it
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/22 09:15 PM

Meanwhile I have friends making close to half a million, have never gotten detention let alone broken the law, and are financially responsible that struggle to get even a single date. That’s the reality
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/22 06:29 PM
1

Yep, well said. And 99.9% of ppl will never have that fuck you money anyway so it’s best to just grind in your career until you get decently comfortable and then focus on other things.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/22 02:25 PM
2

Well I do want to just add that money matters very little for dating* lol. Still matters quite a bit in terms of having a good life. I can afford to eat at the best restaurants, travel the world, fund my expensive hobbies, buy nice clothes and tech for myself, treat my friends and family, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/22 02:12 PM
1

Sure, but my point remains. When I said looks I meant more like facial features and facial symmetry. If anything, I was definitely implying that height and ethnicity so important in dating as to be their own categories
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/22 05:56 AM
1

I read your post and then reread it and I still have no idea what you’re talking about. There’s nothing laughable about requesting a summary for a long drawn out read that quite frankly rambles on and on.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/22 05:24 AM
1

Can you tldr the point of your post then? Because I saw incomes and percentiles associated with them, so not sure how what I said is not relevant. My main point was that money is a non-factor when it comes to dating. Especially in the real world. You barely see a persons wealth unless they are a multi millionaire driving a Ferrari
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/22 05:08 AM
1

Yeah I get that. I think some of this stuff can’t really be taught. Some guys just don’t really have it. It would probably take me a lifetime to learn how to flirt with women, even if they did miraculously find me attractive. I’m a very logical person which helps me at work but not so much in social situations
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/22 05:07 AM
13

Oh boy here we go, another useless post on money. I should just start copy/pasting template answers to these things. Let it be clear for the last time: money matters very little in the dating scene. Your job as a man matters very little. Looks, height, ethnicity form 95% of what women evaluate their criteria (consciously and subconsciously) when choosing a mate. As long as a guy isn’t a total bum then he passes that check box. I’ve said it again and again, but nothing infuriates me more than poo…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/22 05:04 AM

Big tech. One of Google, Facebook, Netflix Thanks man. I’m slowly starting to gain confidence but it’s been hell so far lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 11:22 PM

It’s boring and unfulfilling. I have imposter syndrome as well. Feel like I have no idea what I’m doing half the time. Also I don’t like that it’s seen as a nerdy job. I know I shouldn’t care what other people think but I do
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 11:17 PM

Except I have work lol. Like 10 hours a day :(. I’m sick too
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 11:06 PM

Feeling depressed. Don’t really know what to do. I hate my job. I hate my life. I feel stupid and ugly. And worthless.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 10:51 PM
1

Thanks for sharing. Would you say most of your friends are conventionally attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 06:25 PM
1

I’m confused on why age matters? The only reason why I didn’t mention race is because I’ve gotten banned off this sub before for discussing it; I think it starts drifting towards black pill territory. But I can tell you that it’s a race that isn’t doing me any favors.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 04:52 PM
1

In theory, yes, I should be doing better. A guy that’s 5’10 with a good education and making 350k at a well known company, goes to the gym consistently, and has a amicable personality…which is why I’m confident I must be horrendous looking lol. It is what it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 08:04 AM
1

No..I’m not joking lol. So the stories about women having 200+ matches on dating apps aren’t true? All those women are just lying??
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 07:17 AM
2

What do you mean? Do average women not have plenty of options to choose from? So they can filter out for the tallest, best looking, most successful men? Is that not the reality?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 07:07 AM
1

And so wouldn’t you say that’s just luck then? You could’ve put time and effort with any other guy. With any of those better guys. But because of this shared experience it’s “too late” to start over again with someone else, even if that someone else is objectively better.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 05:47 AM
1

So then what it is…is that once a woman becomes enamored with one guy, she ends up becoming blind of everything else. What an odd phenomenon. I guess that’s why monogamy as an institution has worked for so long.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 05:28 AM
1

Lmao yes I get the ridiculousness of what I’m implying, but you really could find a better guy than your current boyfriend after a couple minutes of swiping, just saying 🤷
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 05:26 AM
2

Yeah I mean I get that, but what is stopping people from loving and valuing someone that is just better in every way than their last partner?? You could love and value your PS4 or you could upgrade to the PS5 and love and value that while also gaining from better quality
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 05:21 AM
2

So it’s men that are the ones who would be more likely to replace their partner if they found someone more attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 05:00 AM
1

But there’s always an objectively better person. Heartbreak being exhausting makes sense
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 05:00 AM
1

What stops women from just…constantly upgrading their partner? Can’t they just go on a dating app, swipe for like an hour, set up a date or 2, and find some richer, taller, more handsome guy?? As a man I’ve never understood this. Obviously I can’t exactly get tons of matches. But how is it these beautiful woman that can have their pick of guy end up with some slightly above avg guy and then think “hmm I wanna be with this guy forever and have kids with him”, when realistically, with the advent o…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 04:39 AM
1

Yup and you realistically only make 500k+ in HCOL cities, so tax + high rent and expenses means that you won’t be buying Ferraris and Rolexes or whatever unless you are making a couple million a year, at the minimum
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/22 11:41 PM
1

Yes I agree. People think 500k income is a lot when it really isn’t. That’s much closer to being homeless than actually being rich.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/22 11:38 PM
1

I would be shocked if the avg PPD user made 6 figures
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/22 11:31 PM
1

Yeah no you’re definitely right. I feel solidly middle class tbh, not even “upper middle class”. Ig I’m also accounting for the fact that I’m 23 so in 5 years or so it wouldn’t be a crazy prediction to think I could be in upper class. My point is it’s made 0 difference in my life. Just worse WLB. I almost wish I still made 40k, that job was way easier
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/22 11:30 PM
1

That’s very insightful, ty! I’m in the bucket of being out of college, having a job (engineering so 99% male coworkers), zero success on dating apps, but not socially awkward. Looks like I missed the train in college staying in my room all day :/.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/22 04:43 AM
1

Thanks for the perspective! You say “usually”…are there some (rare) cases when you genuinely don’t know why your friend is unsuccessful with dating?

This is a good point. Women are more likely to be delusional and constantly lie to themselves, while men will just accept defeat and wallow in self-pity

You tell people you’re a single guy over 25 years old and watch their reaction lol. They’ll be silently trying to figure out what’s wrong with you

It’s interesting because I’ve been passively reading every comment in here and it seems like half of them go something like “it’s super easy for my friends and I to get laid or get into relationships, it’s great” and the other half are similar to yours - talking about how messed up modern dating has gotten and general unease about the future

Thanks for the reply! Could you give me a quick breakdown of the main differences?

No, people with no options will “go for anything”. A 450 lb burn victim woman could make a dating profile or an OnlyFans right now and she would get more matches and/or attention than both of us combined. A sizable population of men have no options and will never have options. There is nothing misandrist about this - it’s simply reality. A lot of these guys would rather be with someone than alone for the rest of their lives, and so their standards get thrown out the door.

Well I mean that’s silly then, why would a man that doesn’t have choice care about what other men think about a particular woman? If some woman is unwanted by other men but likes me, idgaf, I’ll still give her a chance

Well it’s not like I was born this way. We all react to our experiences and environments. As uncomfortable as it might make you, not ever man has multiple choices like you apparently do, that’s all I was trying to say. And because of that, hearing about “reverse pre-selection” is so silly when nearly 1/3rd of men are lonely.

How does that matter if you can’t act in it?? I prefer to be a billionaire btw

Hey good for you, but a lot of us are not able to do that. Like 30% of men these days are sexless and dateless, so it’s not a negligible size. I don’t get to be picky about N count or how popular or wanted a woman is, if she happens to like me I consider that a win and I’d go on a date with her.

This assumes that most men get to choose their partner, which we don’t. We will take anything. We don’t have the privilege of preselection or reverse preselection or whatever you want to call it

Women initiate the divorce and by the time it’s initiated they usually already have a back up option and have mentally moved on so I’m not sure what your sources are. Divorce comes as a surprise to a lot of men and they can’t find another partner as easily as women. Personally I have seen men be willing to help out random strangers/women than the other way around, but maybe that’s just me. Women are biologically wired to look out for themselves and their offspring - that’s it.

Absolutely. Never seen a woman run to help anyone else or even hold a door open for a stranger. More nurturing towards her partner and her kids. Uses society’s resources. Initiates most divorces at the slightest inconvenience and then moves on much more quickly than the man. Nothing nurturing about that lmao

Nothing else matters except for their own little social unit. Men are still expected to help others - women and children - regardless if they are his own or not

Whenever my unfunny but attractive male friend makes a mediocre joke, all the women double over laughing. Really pathetic stuff

If you a dark skinned Indian guy like me, you are no woman’s type. You’re not even considered to be a man, just an asexual NPC that serves as a cog in a capitalist society so that she and her future hubby can have a good life.

I don’t like that women are only drawn to top tier men. That they seek to be protected and then once they have kids their main goal is to raise and protect their kids. And that in social settings they are wired to evaluate social status of men, always making hierarchies out of things. It sounds like selfish behavior to me. And to stand out as a man, you have to compete with others and sell yourself. When a guy talks about why he can/can’t get laid, he always mentions height, attractiveness, fitn…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
